Innovative Uses

  • Employees get additional incentives and bonuses based on their performance measured through the Oracle HCM.
  • Internal vaccines and employee announcements can be shared through the HCM solution and all employees can use this solution easily.
  • By using the learning and development module, it is really easy to communicate employee awareness about new subjects for the employees. It is a easy way to learn new things communicated by the organization.

  • Have a combination of on-prem and cloud instances of Oracle HCM to reduce the OpEx from Cloud deployment.
  • One instance for the whole organization instead of multiple to have a clear and consistent picture of the org's performance.

  • Most of the companies can easily implement the existing Eligibility rules of Oracle HCM for their rewards management.
  • Most of the customers do not use the pre-built reports. We had to build some custom reports to satisfy the customers.
  • Some eligibility rules need more dimensions.

  • Applicant tracking and for compliance issues, not as relevant to my role as an occasional hiring manager but helps out if anything were to come out.
  • Save space in our team drive because we aren't downloading so many resumes to our shared drive and also it keeps a log of which ones we approve of and don't approve of, applicant history, etc.
  • Our recruiting counterpart likes it because if we track the applicant from the very start they can submit offers digitally without having to call them up again or mailing an offer

  • It's enabled us to do things like assign salary grades to each job code which we didn't do before.
  • The performance module has revolutionized our review process.
  • And i cannot believe how easy it is to do merit planning and then make the changes in HCM in one press of a button! Amazing!

Oracle HCM aims to go beyond the basics of HR. According to the vendor, an attractive UI, social, mobile, and reporting capabilities are now table stakes of every HR solution. Oracle HCM aims to allow its users to become strategic leaders of talent, by being engaging, informative, and adaptable.

Oracle HCM is a complete core HR and integrated talent management suite that includes the Oracle Taleo product. It is role-based for key stakeholders and supports the entire employee lifecycle from hire to retire.
