Oracle Hospitality OPERA is the best communication tools in the hospitality industry for people working in Hotel Sectors. You are able to handle all guests inquires and requirements throughout thier journey starting from the initial bookings till they reach home and post stay experience.
The Software is used by all hotel departments as a communication way and in the same time keep history for all guests records and history with all related stay experience either , reservation , Profile , Financial , Sales and Catering and many other reports and details for Guests.
  • Facilitate the process of organizing the sales and catering process where you can arrange everthing related to the catering , Banquet, Conferance process and manage all financial and arrangement effectively and efficiently
  • Sales and Catering Opera help to produce accurate and organized very professional and unique reports as you can analyis everything like sales report , sales matrix , compare sales YEAR ON YEAR , Month to Month so you are able to predict and evaluate your business correctly.
  • By This Software you are able to arrange the internal workflow for either the managment and staff as all organized and clear.
  • Financially you are able to provide both guests and premises we belong with all related data concerning events and stay.
  • Able to forcast the future and decide request and demend accordignly .
  • Some reports need improvement and in order to implement you have to either install extra enhancment like VISION or you have to buy Them .
  • Connecting to third party extra features that require help and support in most cases very expensive or not apply .
  • After Sales Experience and new feature need on site training by the company itself and not only remotly and online.
  • I Experience the service with Oracle for the same product in different countries and i found the support team level is vary in both technique skills and support level.
to be honest this is the best software for the hospitality industry as you can run your operation with very high quality and standard , higly recommended to use this software to handle everything for you , with accurate data , reports , and reliable system . Everthing related to sales like event, banquet, conferances , food arrangement , kitchen , staff related, schedule , space organizing can be monitor and controll by this software.

Most of the time during my hospitality journey i used Oracle Opera -Sales and catering , May be i used other software that not in the smae level like Oracle Hospitality OPERA , as the features , reports, Support , and outcome overall for oracle much better than any other application or software in the hospitality industry.

Oracle Hospitality OPERA is used in our organization by the Human Resources department, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Reservations, Administration, Food and Beverage and Kitchen to carry out all activities related to hospitality and thus provide better service in terms of reports, reservations, check-in, check-out, accommodation and everything related to our area. Thanks to the use of this tool we can have an absolute control of the hotel and maintain organized a scheme of actions related to the operation of the hotel where I work under quality standards and offering the best service to our guests.
  • OPERA keeps a record of our activities at the hotel.
  • OPERA's interface is simple, empathetic and allows better communication between different departments.
  • OPERA allows its users to execute actions without moving from their posts.
  • Registering guests with OPERA is easier than with any similar program.
  • OPERA is too slow to run for the first time and the problem persists in time.
  • That OPERA only opens through browsers like Internet Explorer takes away from the user's interest and makes it adapt to the slowness of the browser in question.
  • It does not allow autonomy in terms of software, which means that if you are occupying your session on the platform and another collaborator needs to use it because it causes crashes in the OPERA system, which causes problems.
Oracle Hospitality OPERA--Sales and Catering is suitable for handling all hotel procedures in the best possible way. It is also well suited to keep track of restaurant sales and all invoices issued on the current day are immediately recorded in the main database that collects all the administrative information of the company.

Oracle Hospitality OPERA is not well suited for maintaining multiple sessions between departments. It causes software downgrades and loss of information if not handled properly.

OPERA has taken a new perspective on how to manage the hospitality industry today and what holds it together with its predecessor Oracle Hospitality (formerly MICROS) is that it allows for better functionality in terms of its interface and the fact that MICROS is an outdated system makes it very susceptible to constant errors in its data system. OPERA, however, has proven itself in every aspect for which it was created and makes it suitable for the hospitality industry.
