Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We also evaluated a product called "Better Proposals" that's not in the TrustRadius list.

Pandadoc won our business by virtue of having generally more flexible design and layout abilities. There are a lot of new contenders in the space of proposal/contract creation and management, but Pandadoc feels a) more mature and robust, and b) like much more than just proposal management software. We also use it for contracts with contractors, addendums, branded legal documents, and an increasing number of additional documents as we become more accustomed to it. It's definitely more than just a sales and marketing tool, it's also amazing for a host of HR applications.

Why I use PandaDoc

last time I used DocuSign was around 2020. at that time I do not recall a template or option to save a document for future use. no way to save a document with blank areas where you could open the document and put in info pertaining to what you where working on.

We used HelloSign, which merged with Dropbox. It only gave three signatures per account and didn't allow for you to CC someone onto the document to receive it. It worked fine for what we needed, but we needed something that allowed for more signatures as we were sending multiple timesheets out.

Pandadoc integrates with Hubspot so the client proposal is always linked to their deal record. The integration could be more elaborate by automatically linking documents to the designated client record in hubspot with out having to create the document inside hubspot.

PandaDoc allowed us to build a content library for putting together sales proposals. The content library and conditional content really speeds things up.
The HubSpot integration allows us to bring over Deal information into the proposal as well.

PandaDoc is more accessible and easy to use then several of its competitors which we have trialed but do not match up to all of the functionalities available in this software. Lacking straight forward navigation and all of the field tools offered even in the unpaid version. We found that PandaDoc, whilst lacking certain features still outweighs its competition.

DocuSign doesn't have the same functionality and ease of use as PandaDoc. Being able to integrate with Salesforce has completely changed our workflow for document creation for proposals and contracts. DocuSign is limited with the formatting ability and adding tables, charts, etc to the document. This has created a whole new opportunity for us as an organization.

PandaDocs is way easier to use on the back end. So much more capabilities and custom field options. Because of this, it makes it extremely easy for recipients to complete fields accurately. Using Adobe, we would have to upload existing documents for signature but with PandaDocs we can adjust documents directly in the platform. We love PandaDocs and it has increased our efficiency greatly.

We previously used DocuSign - while the eSignature features were good, we found it difficult to easily create and edit templates. It could be this has improved since then. I do think DocuSign contracts look more official. I took a demo with HelloSign - I liked it, but the switching costs seemed too high. We're now considering whether to switch over to Hubspot to have everything entirely in what place, but I'm not sure the parity of features yet.

PandaDoc is hands down a better sales tool than all mentioned above. There is no comparison with the ability to change and adjust contracts or proposals. There is nothing like PandaDoc when it comes to document manipulation prior to putting it in front of the end user. While the other programs have great project management tools, they do not compare to the complexity and creativity you can compose within PandaDoc.

We looked at several other products, most notably Adobe and DocuSign. We found PandaDoc to be easier to use and a better value. There might be a couple of additional features with Adobe or DocuSign, but PandaDoc has done everything we've needed for our amount of e-signing needs (mostly for partner contracts).

I've used DocuSign in personal dealings. Seems to work pretty well. Guides the user right along. We ultimately went with PandaDoc over DocuSign because of the price and features. We didn't need a tool that was overly powerful and being a smaller company wanted to keep costs down
