Although Paragon Hard Disk Manager offers several different functionalities, we use the software primarily for creating backups of our data.

Paragon Hard Disk Manager enables easy and reliable automated regular incremental backups to drives in our Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. The ease-of-use and reliability of this software facilitates execution of our backup strategy.
  • High reliability. With Paragon Hard Disk Manager, we are confident regular backup jobs are executed as configured.
  • Ease of use. The graphical user interface is logical and polished.
  • Detailed and informative user manual.
  • Paragon Hard Disk Manager meets all our requirements for a straightforward and dependable backup software package. I cannot think of any significant areas for improvement at this time.
  • One small source of annoyance was the use of some abbreviations used in the user manual (unfamiliar to us) when we first read it, e.g., WAIK, ADK, WinPE. However, we resolved this issue with a simple Google search.
  • One way of dealing with the above abbreviations is to include hyperlinks in the user manual so that persons unfamiliar with these abbreviations may be taken to a glossary.
Paragon Hard Disk Manager is suitable for use by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The graphical user interface helps to make the software easy to use, even by those with limited computer/technical knowledge and skills. The software will likely meet most, if not all, of the backup requirements of SMEs.
  • Intuitive user interface that is streamlined yet effective
  • Reliable data backups to our network attached storage (NAS) device
  • Clear and informative user manual
  • Paragon Hard Disk Manager makes creating regular incremental backups straightforward. The ease of configuring the software to automatically perform backup jobs increases the likelihood that we will follow through with our backup strategy, thus protecting our data.
  • Any loss of important data would potentially be catastrophic to our business. Paragon Hard Disk Manager minimizes this risk.
  • The software's ease of use also means we can focus more on our core business activities (and spend less time and effort on data backups).
  • Google Backup and SYNC (discontinued)
Google Backup and SYNC required a stable and fast internet connection, and the amount of data we could back up was limited. We use Paragon Hard Disk Manager to back up data to a NAS device - this method does not require an internet connection and the data we can back up is unlimited. Furthermore, we have greater control over our data.

We work on a lot of different systems - laptops and desktop - with different types of operating systems and physical hard drive types. Paragon Hard Disk Manager made the process of clearing data and setting new partitions on these systems a dream! A great deal of time was saved through using this software.
  • Disk wiping - quick and effective solution for simple wipe processes
  • Partitioning - the software allowed us to work more closely with the partitions in a GUI environment
  • Data Migrations - Paragon Hard Disk Manager made this process of data migration very easy and convenient
  • Hard to complain about Paragon Hard Disk Manager. The system works easily with a simple to use interface.
Paragon Hard Disk Manager is a solution that makes working directly with hard drives a breeze. It is suited for entry level users through to experienced techs and covers most scenarios you can throw at it!
  • Disk wiping
  • Partition Management
  • Data Migration
  • Paragon Hard Disk Manager has provided savings to us through time saved during processes relating to data migration and wiping
  • The wiping function allows us to respond to requests to ensure drives are sanitized.
  • Migration of data used to be a laborious task, but Paragon Hard Disk Manager has helped save us time by speeding up the process
Paragon Hard Disk Manager is just simple and straight forward to use. It doesn't get too technical and allows us to achieve our end goals quickly and easily.

This storage platform helps us to store data on desktops without any interruptions. It has installed a partition manager that customizes the storage units into the user required sizes. The included backup plan and recovery options have enhanced reliable stability in data security giving our team members more time of focusing on other projects without fear. It can easily send email notifications to the user when unauthorized users access information.
  • Partitioning storage disks into manageable storage spaces.
  • Data backup and recovery options.
  • It can be upgraded to offer cloud storage services.
  • The performance of the current features is stable.
The service provided by this platform in data storage and file transfer is highly recommendable. It is easy to learn how it works giving more consumers an opportunity to access and use it without ant difficult. You can customize the storage spaces to get smaller units that be used for file storage with backup plans. It has the capability of compressing data into small datasets that can occupy small storage spaces.
  • The ability to compress files.
  • password protection feature.
  • It has contributed to positive Return on Investment.
  • It has catered for all our organization storage needs.
Paragon Hard Disk Manager has the most reliable and user effective tools that can be managed under simple environment. It has improved our data storage infrastructure more as compared to other tools. File transfer is faster and the networking system for carrying data are secure from virus and hackers. Data can be easily restored when misplaced or lost with less cost of maintenance.

I use Paragon Rescue Media to clone from one identical computer to another, and I also use it when migrating from a traditional hard drive to an SSD.
  • Clone partitions or entire drives.
  • Change drive from standard to dynamic or dynamic to standard.
  • Sometimes it does not estimate time to completion properly.
For cloning or changing partitions, Paragon is the best product I have found so far.
  • Cut time to transition from standard to SSD by over 60%.
  • Cut time to clone from one system to another.
Paragon has much more flexibility to manipulate partitions and clone drives.
I have not found a need to contact support.

Our whole organization uses it to clone hard drives and to migrate computer hard drives to dissimilar hardware.
  • When you have a hard drive that is physically failing with CHKDSK errors, it will often somehow still clone it and make it work on the new system.
  • It can take a computer's operating system installation and make it work on dissimilar hardware.
  • If it's installed to a CD it takes forever to boot to it. Better off a USB stick.
  • It takes a very long time to clone a failing drive (understandably) and you have no idea how long it will take. Estimated times are not accurate.
Great for failing hard drives that need to be cloned (like to SSDs) and for moving computer data to dissimilar hardware.
Not great when you're in a hurry and you need to know exactly how long it will take to clone a drive. You would use a different cloning software at that point (Acronis).
  • It has had a positive impact on our business objectives because it has gotten us out of some difficult situations where drives would not clone otherwise. It saves a reload of a computer, therefore a lot of time saved.
Paragon is better in some areas, worse in others.
Better at cloning unhealthy drives. Worse at quick clones.
Acronis is a little more intuitive. Paragon has some dialog that I don't think translates well to English.
I've never had to contact Paragon support which speaks to the quality of their product.
