We have used multi-factor authentication to ensure the security of the application and data and Parallels Remote Application Server architecture is spot on with those requirements the options we had with multi-factor authentication methods were limited but they served their purpose. But that’s an area where there could be improvements in the future

Security is a big concern and we can rely on Parallels RAS due to the complete set of tools it provides to have a safe environment. That peace of mind is of great value to us.

We explore and configure all the security options provided by Parallels Remote Application Server, 2FA, and TLS 1.2 for remote connections, logging, and alerting. all these options are not complex to configure and provide another layer of defense for a public-facing system.

Was able to implement multi-factor authentication (via RADIUS) before official support was built in. Now, natively supports Google Authentication (and multi-factor), among many.

Through Parallels Remote Application Server, some data and applications could be removed from mobile devices and centralized. Centrally, higher security (backup/restore), as well as data leakage, can be much better managed.

We have set up some stricter policies with our Parallels, preventing any drive mapping from the local machine to the remote destination, file sharing, and clipboard sharing, to try and help prevent any data from leaving the company this way. We also enforce MFA via a third party and disallow anyone from bypassing this. And have all data encrypted via SSL.

Parallels Remote Application Server 2X clients are secure so far we never had a security breach at any level. However, we are not using MFA. Login permission is based on the AD profile. We will learn more about RAS security and will implement it with the help of the support team.

We have definitely used the permission policies, MFA, encryption, access control, and SSL security capabilities provided by Parallels. It helps with peace of mind that the information people are accessing remotely isn't actually being sent across the internet unprotected.

Security is a big concern in today's world. The ability to utilize MFA is huge and was a requirement prior to switching from the competitor product. MFA setup was very simple with RAS and integrated nicely with Azure MFA. SSL cert installation was also very simple through the console and took effect immediately.

We have been able to keep our ERP data locked down to our users just as if they had the application on their desktop and limit them to only the information they should be allowed to have. Since we aren't currently doing a front-facing app, security is a little simpler in our implementation.

We absolutely love the MFA, it was simple to provision and assign and user adoption was seamless. Particularly great was the fact that the MFA could be turned on based on how the user was connecting or what group the user was in so that a tiered approach to introducing MFA was possible in our company.

These layers of security were non-negotiables for us. The capabilities within Parallels Remote Application Server allowed us to provide greater security and control to making applications accessible outside our LAN. This was especially important because two of the applications running contained our most sensitive operational data.

We use the 2FA and also an SSL on the gateway and the encryption to provide end-to-end encryption for all of our connections both in and out. This helps reassure and provide some confidence that it is secure. It also means that we know exactly who can and can't access the systems as each user's 2fa registration is logged.

Because of the worldwide scope of our clients, TSG Networks needs to offer HIPPA and GDPR compliance. Parallels Remote Application Server provides robust data protection through granular permission policies, multi-factor authentication, encryption, user access control, and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Through our integration with Duo, our parallels environment is protected by two-factor authentication an absolute must in the modern era. We use this with either passcode or push to authenticate every user that logs onto our parallels environment.

SSL and Multi Factor Authentication have helped us very easily tick some PCI DSS & GDPR boxes.

We use a publicly signed SSL certificate for remotely published apps.

Both Google Authenticator and integration with the Deepnet DualShield platform make implementing MFA very easy with plenty of 2nd device options.

Being in healthcare alone is a big security project. Data breaches are all too common these days and the features presented in Parallels [Remote Application Server] really helps us keep our data secure. Multi-factor authentication helps reduce unauthorized logins, access control allows us to determine which users have access to specifics apps and data. Other options such as disabling clipboard transfers, disabling file downloads, and GPO options to prevent access to server data is critical to keeping an environment secure.
