Yes, it has helped our teams and engineers to work seamlessly in the pandemic situation. We all can connect virtually to the resources using the application and browser and do the work. The Parallels Remote Application Server UI is very intuitive and simple to use.

A centrally managed console is always a good thing. Not only managing the settings, but publishing apps, desktops, and even pushing the updates to all the other servers is provided in one place. It save a lot of time not jumping from server to server to perform updates. You can also see your current usage, system resource usage, licensing information, and more from the RAS Console.

It is automatic allocating computers and remote applications to individuals without manual intervention, and having already used AppsAnywhere for the delivery of applications it extended that through the same portal. We did not have to purchase high specification computers for users who were forced by the pandemic to work remotely.

To install Parallels Remote Application Server in our host server was simple. To install it in company ships was even easier--anyone can do it. The best part for me is that they can keep shortcut icons of the application directly on the user's Windows desktop.

While both have their pros and cons, they each hold a specific purpose. Businesses need to decide which solution is the right one for their virtualization requirements, taking into consideration their current and future needs. Parallels Remote Application Server allows businesses to deploy both technologies RDS and VDI without additional costs, which saves IT administrators from making a difficult choice at the very start of their migration project.

The Parallels Remote Application Virtual Desktop and applications from RDS and VDI are the key features in our decision to choose this product. Parallels RAS is very intuitive and easy to maintain in the central console where you can push and configure VDI agents and publish your application or desktop in a minute and in one place.

Setting things up can be difficult and time-intensive but well worth the effort because there's next to nothing that the end-user has to do and they just have a simple but effective method of accessing their apps that just plain works. There's little to no set up for the end-user. Tons of set up for your I.T. Dept, however, so keep that in mind.

Most organizations are spread thin on resources and time available to train, so anytime you make a product easier to pickup and use is much appreciated by IT and the company as a whole. The RAS system makes it really easy to add new users and profiles, but continuing to increase usability will benefit current and future Parallels RAS users and administrators.

I have been admining Microsoft RDS for over five years now. It's a slow, clunky and limited UI with disparate servers and components that cannot be managed within RDS itself. Webpages have to be manually edited for instance. All of that goes away with Parallels. My favorite part of the entire product is the central control. It's incredibly intuitive, powerful, fast and covers every setting I want within a few clicks, whether it's altering gateway website layouts or publishing apps. And, it can be done without interfering with user connections or needing every session host in a farm up and running even if the load doesn't demand it. It fixes basically all of the problems with Microsoft's RDS platform.

We are now able to deliver virtual desktops to our users in a really easy way thanks to Nutanix AHV integration to our RAS farm, it has the ability to get the virtual desktops ready for our users and turn it off on demand. We really loved this option because we did not needed to pay more for VDI or PCs publishing.

It's exactly what we needed. Some of our local branches in Asia and Eastern Europe are really small (up to 10 people) and cannot afford local IT technician. PRAS allows us to deploy all software to employees even there.

Our organization benefits from the fast and easy delivery of applications from Remote Desktop Session Hosts (RDSH). Our employees learned fast how to use the Parallels client to access their published software.

It allowed us to deliver our desktop application to users through the RDS solutions to our customers in a SaaS model, which helps with clients that cannot afford the large underlying cost of an IT infrastructure.

Our use of Parallels Remote Application Server is directly related to the delivery of virtual desktops and applications. In reviewing the options of an SSL VPN solution, IPSec VPN solution, and Citrix solution, Parallels was chosen for its ease of deployment, speed of implementation, lower upfront cost, lower maintenance costs, and ease of use for both IT and end-users. The end-user gets their apps in a simple website, while IT gets an easy to manage, secure, and monitor tool for providing access.

We have benefited. I have a user who has a raspberry pi to connect. Most users can connect from home via the application, but some prefer not to install anything. Those users connect via html5 from anywhere. That is simple and great for the end-user experience.
