Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

By then, we should really be up and running well with great visibility into our prospect and customer activities, marketing efforts and using all of the functions/features of Pardot.

We recently did renew our annual contract based on a number of factors (some listed below):
  1. Competitive pricing
  2. We use Salesforce.com extensively - so now that Pardot is a SFDC company this all fits in very nicely with our technology/solution stack
  3. Intuitive interface especially for setting up automation rules
  4. They have ramped up their enhancements & speed of release
  5. Quick support / friendly account execs
  6. Gives us an extended website where we can easily create similar looking pages, forms etc

Pardot Marketing Automation is a system you can use for almost all countries with no legal issues. It is a tool that gives you a marketing automation process and is easy to use.

By the time our contract expires in 2 more years, I doubt highly that the competition will have caught up to where Pardot stands today. In two years, Pardot will have increased its value to the business due to the projects it is currently working on. This will allow it to maintain its dominant positioning in B2B.

We will be renewing our use of Pardot. We have found that the system is very useful to marketing and sales and it makes it a lot easier to run marketing campaigns and conduct sales efforts with the information that Pardot gives. Staying with the system can only make the product better; the more information you put into the system, the better reporting and numbers you are going to get out of it in the end.

I ended up selecting another company to work with instead of Pardot even though I'd been happy with it in the past. My colleague who took over the Pardot implementation will renew for their company needs, though, and I think that's a shining testament to the effectiveness of the platform for specific brand needs. Everything can work well in the right situation.

When we selected Pardot, it did not have as much mindshare in the industry as other platforms, but it is one of the most capable marketing automation platforms I have seen. Though their profile has raised considerably since being acquired by ExactTarget and then Salesforce, they still seem to fly under the radar a bit, but I consider Pardot to be one of the unsung heroes of marketing automation. Pardot has looked for the features that marketers need most, and incorporated them into a very easy-to-use platform that does not require heavy IT support to implement and maintain. Pardot also does a great job listening to customer feedback and using it to inform their product roadmap.

At this point, we've invested so much time and resources into making our Pardot-Sugar integration work that it would be counter intuitive to not renew. The only thing that would impact this would be if they considerably drop support of Sugar since they are now a Salesforce.com company. With that said, we owe it to ourselves to explore all available alternatives.

We love Pardot (I personally use it every day) and couldn't imagine not using. Pardot has helped our business grow and stay at the forefront of marketing. Without Pardot we would not capture all our website visitors data, have automated emails in place, and would not have the ability to report on all over many campaigns. We love Pardot so much that we actually prepay for a full year at a time (I think you actually get a slight discount by doing that as well).

Our business is changing and the only reason why we would not renew the product is if we decide to use the product our parent company is currently using. Pardot is a very wonderful tool and if it is up to me, we will continue using it. I have become an expert in it and the tool has really paid off. It allows you to do so many programs to make the most out of your database. It feeds our sales team and allows them to better understand where their prospects are in the buying cycle. It makes sales have a better and more meaningful conversation with their leads.

Replacement cost would be high for us. We have a history of leads, scoring, emails, and actions taking by leads in Pardot. Our sales history shows that a lot of these leads will be reactive in the future, perhaps when project needs bring our product back to mind, or when they have budget, etc. So switching costs would be really high for us. With that said, if we could find a product that integrated better with other parts of our organization, we would look at it.

We are happy with Pardot. It has made our jobs easier and installed some reporting functions that have increased our ROI with the company. We have worked hard to set-up the functions in Pardot and it has taken time, but paid off.
