We use PCR as an Organization. We are an Executive Recruiting Firm. We use PCR to track data, organize, and solicit our Clients, Candidates, and to plan our days.
  • PCR is easy to use and very simple in terms of layout. It is very practical and well designed.
  • PCR allows us to capture all sorts of data down to the smallest detail. It makes things much more efficient in terms of data management and going paperless. Also, it is very simple to change MASS amounts of data in the system as well are inputting/exporting...
  • PCR almost never freezes or causes our computers to freeze.
  • PCR is accessible via mobile apps, making it convenient.
  • PCR support has been very helpful for training and technical issues as well as adding features
  • PCR allows us to function better as a team in terms of organization
  • PCR is extremely customizable
  • Some of PCR's search criteria is irrelevant and just takes up space and could be streamlined
  • Merging duplicates needs improving. You must have an exact field match to merge, and this can be very cumbersome with massive amounts of data. Also, when a resume is parsed, the safety nets for adding duplicates are often times useless.
  • I would like to be able to save search criteria in PCR besides the default
What will the integration process be like with our current data system? How easy will it be to search? Can we plan our calls using PCR? How easy is it to import and export data? How can we better organize our data? What are the other perks of PCR and how can it help us?
  • Faster lead input and conversion
  • We have made more deals through being more organized
  • Some of our Associates have gone almost all paperless
  • The mass mailer function had help generate leads quicker
  • We definitely spend less time researching
  • Oracle Business Analytics,Windsearch
Oracle - I used at another position. Does not apply here. Windsearch was slow, dumb, and unorganized. So, PCR has been a tremendous upgrade and does 95% of what I want it to do...

recruiters, scourers, managers would are maintaining and growing a database of candidates and clients for active and passive searches across the USA and internationally. we need to constantly update pipelines and tracks the process to provide the best level of service to our clients and candidates. PCR does a pretty good job of helping us to that.
It us a very diverse job of computer savy and non-computer savvy recruiters. The savy ones tend to do better. The sourcers help our recruiters navigate our databasee and ergo they help us find candidates quickly. They are very computer savvy and make things easier for the old school type of recruiters. You need to be pretty tech savvy and have an organizaed mindset to maximize PCR.
  • Organization
  • CRM management
  • Bulk Emailing
  • adding searchable criteria
  • adding catagorical criteria
  • Coding the system
  • integrate with Linkedin
  • further organize data
  • more automated processes
Right now, PCR is doing everything we need it to do. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our bottom-line, and PCR is getting it done leaving the work for us to implement and if we fall behind, that's on us. I am hoping PCR 9 is a big upgrade and pretty satisfied with PCR overall.
I think there is a lot of room to improve, but it's great...

Since mid-2015 and [it] is used for all our locations.

  • UI - too many split screens and tabs
  • Hard to toggle between areas
  • Lacks a "current" look and feel overall
Overall it is outdated compared to some other products. The support is [PCRecruiter]'s claim to fame. The people are available, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
  • Hard to say in terms of $$$
  • It worked well over the years for us
  • Lagging in innovation and user interface
  • Too many clicks to get around
[From my experience it is] lagging in UI, recruiters have to "work for the software" rather than the "software doing things for the recruiter". Data mining is a good one for positions and candidates.

Small glitches but nothing major, resolved satisfactorily.
This can best be answered by our internal support person. [PCRecruiter] always did me proud with their support! Well done and Thank you.
Average in use and appearance. Too many clicks and tabs which is clunky for me.
  • Not elegant, but simple
  • Moving around, navigation clunky and cumbersome

We are a small government contracting firm with a small overhead recruiting staff and a limited budget. We use PCRecruiter for all applicant tracking and job posting functions. We use it to capture and track all recruiting-related information and to craft, edit, store and display all job openings on our website. We use the Outlook integration function to automatically log all communications with each candidate and for easy access to all candidate and job records.
  • PCRecruiter allows for extremely quick candidate entry and tracking of all candidate communications via the Outlook integration. All emails to and from a candidate are automatically logged in as part of that candidate's record.
  • It lets us quickly craft and post new job requirements directly to our website. PCR then disseminates our jobs out to some of the major job aggregators like Simply Hired and indeed. We can format our posts any way we like, and the web extension through PCRecruiter matches the look and feel of our website.
  • The ability to generate custom tabs for each candidate record is a unique and extremely useful feature of PCRecruiter. Using this, we can look at a candidate's contact info on one tab, then easily click another tab to view cost information, another for security info - up to ten tabs for each candidate record.
  • The MyPCR (home page) allows for the creation of a custom starting place. You can create shortcuts to custom searches that you use regularly, shortcuts to websites you visit frequently - you can even link to documents you use in the recruiting process, all from the starting page.
  • The integrated email module can be clunky and buggy. The only reason we would use it is for mass emailing - which is something we don't do. So for us, it isn't an issue, but if you are looking for a great mass emailing capability you may want to investigate this further with the folks at PCRecruiter.
  • They are usually a version behind in supporting popular browsers. You will want to check with them before upgrading the browser you use.
I have only personally used PCRecruiter in small company environments. In that capacity, it is a robust yet affordable option with features you won't see from other companies at this price point. I cannot comment on how well it works for larger companies with huge recruiting staffs. You will also get more out of PCRecruiter if you are fairly computer literate. If the thought of creating custom fields and custom searches gives you nightmares, you may want to look somewhere else.
  • PCRecruiter allows me to track a huge number of candidates and post/track a huge number of jobs all by myself.
  • We definitely provide a better experience for our candidates with PCRecruiter.
  • We can quickly and efficiently post jobs and get them out to a number of websites automatically, saving a lot of time.
PCRecruiter provides a better experience for our candidates and allows us to customize our own database in a much more robust way. Not to mention PCRecruiter costs a significantly smaller sum of money. For the smaller companies who may not have a huge team of recruiters, PCRecruiter is the better solution in my opinion.
We really aren't lacking anything with PCRecuiter. It solves our basic needs, gives us additional useful functionality and the cost is beyond reasonable - especially for a smaller company with a tiny recruiting staff like ours. We are not considering changing applicant tracking solutions and will remain customers of PCRecruiter for the forseeable future.
1
Director of Recruiting. It is important that information be captured so that in the future, other users can be added and they can get to work right away picking up where I left off with our candidate base. So I keep that in mind when I am recording notes and actions.
1
I self-support myself (lol) on PCR. Most System functions are self explanatory and easy to figure out. Very intuitive. If you need help, you can refer to the Main Sequence PCR knowledge base that is also very easy to navigate. Finally, you can easily open a trouble ticket with them for a prompt response if all else fails.
  • Applicant tracking.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Employee referral tracking.
  • Nothing fancy - don't need fancy.
  • Should be able to scale up to multiple users easily.

We currently use PCRecruiter in our Recruiting Department. It addresses business problems from the source of hire to a specific count of hires per month.
  • Organization - PCRecruiter allows you to stay organized and as long as you have an order on how to do certain processes, your work will be just fine.
  • Easy to use - Like all new programs, it takes some time to get the hang of it but once you get used to it, it is one of the easiest programs to learn and maneuver.
  • Report Options - PCRecruiter provides plenty of ways to pull a report. The fact that you can customize your reports is great so that you can pull all the info you need.
  • Customization - there are a few functions that do not work well with our company so if we could customize them to fit our company better, that would make PCR an even better program to utilize.
  • Updates - I don't receive too many emails in regards to updates so I will come across a few times that I cannot use PCR as I need to so it can become frustrating.
  • Alerts - if there was a function that would alert you for every inquiry, that would really help out instead of having to log in and see for yourself.
This program is well suited for any company that needs to keep track of one or more companies and employees and/or candidates within each. I would not recommend it if you have a very small company with minimal contacts.
  • We have had very good ROI using PCR. We are able to track candidates very easily and always have anywhere from 1 to 10 ROI's.
  • Fast conversion is very good when it comes to PCR, our recruiters move quickly to screen, contact, and submit candidates to our hiring managers to bring them on board.
  • Our customer service is at its best with the help of PCR. We have it linked to our website so we are able to communicate with candidates on the exact positions they are inquiring on.
I really like using PCRecruiter and give this rating because the product has helped me with all the reports and services I need to make my job easier. I also enjoy the fact that if I do happen to have an issue of some sort, I can either search for the solution or I can contact a technician and they will take care of the issue immediately.

Two of the four users are Admin Assistants that keep all data up to date and the other two users are Recruiters that update the candidates information when they contact them or send them an email.

I am the main supporter when we have issues here in-house. I am not a complete expert but I am the go to person when it comes to PCR and I just know my way around the program so I usually have the answer or I just contact a support person from PCR.
  • Keeping track of potential candidates.
  • Sending out bulk emails to specific candidates.
  • Pulling reports for other office use.
  • One of the main unexpected uses was the zip code radius option. We went about a year or so without knowing this was one of the capabilities and once we found it, it made a big difference.
  • One way that our organization may be able to use PCR in the future is by allowing more departments to use the program. We have it in one department only so if we can open that up, that might make a big difference.
