PeopleFluent provides a cloud-based talent management suite comprised of applications for Recruiting, Performance Management, Compensation, Learning, Succession and Vendor Management as well as Workforce Planning and Diversity. Available as singular products or bundled together as integrated solutions, PeopleFluent is designed to address critical, talent-related challenges such as performance issues, high turnover, productivity loss, and ultimately, diminished financial results due to an increasingly disengaged workforce.

The vendor’s value proposition is that by combining integrated video, strategic analytics, and collaborative social technologies into its talent management suite, they are redefining the the talent acquisition and talent management experience for candidates, recruiters, managers and employees. PeopleFluent Mirror Suite has been adopted primarily for talent management. As some of our clients already use PeopleFluent (VMS) we have added this performance tool to integrate the seamless use of other PeopleFluent solutions. It is not used company wide, just by those who handle specific clients with PeopleFluent VMS to track progress and candidate activity as well as manager feedback. We don't exploit the entire recruitment process ATS as we also have other ATS in place.
  • Gives a very detailed view of the candidates application process as well as the recruiter's activity on his dashboard.
  • You can customize it to mostly any environment and integrate with other enterprise tools as well.
  • The UI experience is seamless and very easy with drag-and-drop and clicks to request actions.
  • I would advise better filtering options when pulling up candidate profiles, we should have multiple functions when requesting candidates profile.
  • Sometimes I get huge projects and need to move more than 20 people, it's a headache moving groups in parts.
  • A faster way to verify if a candidate has been double submitted, maybe with a unique ID or email that identifies said candidate prior to going through the whole submission process.
  • Stronger cache cookies when session is timed out get kicked out and the process reboots. Sometimes recruiters are pulled in different directions while multitasking.
I would recommend this product as it has a great UX/UI experience compared to other ATS systems. The reporting metrics are flawless and you can combine multiple performance reports when tracking activity. One of the things I love the most about PF Mirror Suite is the fact that the manager can provide live feedback and help rearrange the search with little down time. Although the system is great it sometimes refers candidates that are not a fit.

  • I noticed a ROI when my hires a received a 1% boost. The alerts and matching candidates along with manager feedback improved my head hunting process.
  • We wanted something that can integrate Hiring Manager and Recruiters.
We wanted to bring in the function of the manager interaction from our requirements as other ATS are kind of static and sometimes the updates are delayed. This down time would cost our speed to market since there was a clog with the updates. I want to say it stacks up fairly well and can compete depending on your company's objectives.
I would rate this ATS system a 9 as there's some room for improvement as mentioned prior. I really love the design and its functionality buttons and the way I can integrate it with other systems. I would really love to see a more detailed reporting metrics long with super candidate filters when searching profiles.

The entire firm uses PeopleFluent Mirror Suite for Talent Management's as the primary performance management tool (e.g., to set team member goals and track progress against goals for career conversations). We also use it for ATF (Any Time Feedback) - which is a quick way to give people in-the-moment feedback on what they're doing well and what they're not doing well.
  • It's a SAAS (software as a service) so it's accessible online.
  • It's customizable - so we could add DHG-specific resources to it.
  • I don't find the software intuitive or user-friendly. Once you leave the initial dashboard, it's hard to navigate.
  • The AnyTime Feedback functionality could be improved by adding a weekly email reminder that you've received a request for feedback.
  • The AnyTime Feedback function is relatively easy to use.
  • Unfortunately, it was difficult to connect the screen where you input your annual goals with the place where you provide updates to those goals.

We use PeopleFluent for performance management for the whole organization. We have 3 performance management cycles for staff and providers. Some employees are evaluated annually on a certain date, some other annually based on their date of hire, while some other annually based on their birth date. PeopleFluent has helped us build different evaluation plans based on the employee profile. It has reduced and almost eliminated paper-based evaluations. The employees are located across 35 locations. Having a centralized performance evaluation system has streamlined the process of talent management.
  • The ability to push reviews forwards and backward using workflows. The "reopen forms" is a great feature.
  • Multi-rater competency evaluation and tracking.
  • The ability to configure alerts so that employees know what actions to undertake while submitting the review.
  • Adding goals and removing goals.
  • Ability to capture weekly/ monthly performance reviews for both employees and managers.
  • The plans are easy to set up and forms do not require knowledge of computer programming.
  • While PeopleFluent has many fields that serve the purpose, it is difficult to create custom fields.
  • The format of forms is fixed and there is less scope to change the look and feel of the form.
  • The system is great but we had to create custom training documents to show and educate the users on how to navigate through the system. The documents available from PeopleFluent were helpful to administrators to understand the system but could not be shared with everyone.
PeopleFluent has eliminated the use of paper reviews. It is also eliminated the use of scanning, emailing or interoffice mail. It is a great tool for communication and I highly recommend it. However, in some ways, the product can be improved. Some processes are tied to each other and could function in tandem. For example, while completing the self-review, the employee has to capture multi-raters. If self-review is submitted without listing multi-rater names then multi-rater review has to be captured separately on paper. In my opinion, these two processes can be different. Multi-raters should be added/removed/modified after submitting self-review.

  • The ability to run reports has streamlined the merit process.
  • Managers can review past performance evaluations without any hassles.
  • It is easy to delegate reviews when an employee has more than one manager.
In my experience, the support team was very prompt and helpful. They had good subject matter expertise and were able to troubleshoot immediately. At times we wanted some enhancements but it was not possible due to product limitations. But, the support team was helpful in suggesting alternatives for our requirements.
The customer support staff was also very polite and friendly.

We used this product to handle all recruiting needs for the company for both contractors and the hiring of FT employees.
  • It was very easy to go through resumes, choose the people you wanted to interview and set up the interviews.
  • It is great at keeping track of people that have come through hiring process in the past so you do not waste time on those that have already been declined or are sent in by multiple vendors.
  • The handling of time sheets and expense reports is very easy to manage.
  • It needs to give more character availability to the area filled in when declining a candidate so we can give more information to the vendors so they can chose better candidates to send us in the future.
It would be great if there was the ability to add in all of the job specifications that are must haves where the system would not even present a candidate to you if they do not fall within those guidelines.
