Great for Game Development, with Room for Improvements
- Locking assets make us have no merge problems which are harder to manage on other versions control without locking
- Almost no need to give support to artists or non-tech folks because the operations are very straightforward
- There's no way to do interim checkins without going to the process of creating a stream

Perforce Helix Core meets the need!
- Decreased our implementation costs by allowing versioning and back out of customizations made in the field.
- saves developers time through automation of changes between branches - they think less of the plumbing and have more time to write code.
- Downside is training/managing expectations of new developers who come in assuming they will use Git.

Perforce from a QA perspective
- It's hard to put a number on it, but the Perforce's reliability means we never have to worry about such a central piece to our business.
- Never having to switch version control apps means we can spend our time focusing on other aspects of our workflow.

Perforce - Scalable Enterprise Version Control
- In the case of CDK Global, Perforce has done an excellent job of maintaining service levels for clients. This is not in terms of customer service, as much as the operational stability of the marketing materials (websites, services, etc) that are in place as a result of the assets held in Perforce version control.
- Perforce helps our licensees and development teams get access to our code base anywhere in the world.
- Our developers have never had to worry about the reliability of our source depot and know that if its checked in, the data is safe.

Perforce - A full-featured ecosystem
- Client specs allow high customization in what your view of the repo looks like.
- Integrating and branching is very difficult. I've been one of the main people in performing this task as it takes a great deal of technical proficiency, and I seem to have to re-learn how to perform these tasks every time.
- Perforce feels like a ecosystem, a complete solution. It requires you to learn its speak, and order of operation, however, it comes with solutions for every possible task you'd need to perform, and is highly script-able when you want to further customize.
