Creating Content with Pixlr!
We maintain and update our own website using a template style website (Church Plant Media). CPM only offers minimal graphics for use with the templates so we have to create our own graphics for the different pages on our site. We also send out a graphics heavy weekly newsletter through the website. In addition to our website, we also use graphics each week during our service that are projected onto the screens. I use Pixlr to create all of the graphics for our organization.
- It offers a broad range of editing options.
- The ability to "save" your work history within the browser but also to a file.
- Has a large database of copyright free images for background use.
- Has a great selection of fonts.
- It would be fantastic if you had the option to save your entire work history at once, instead of each "project" individually. In case your web cache was cleared.
- Add more fonts.
- Offer more templates, other than just templates that are social media based.
- Ease of use.
- Quality of finished product.
- Being able to save work, coming back later for edits.

Canva is a similar program using for creating content. I've tried out their suite as well but always end up coming back to Pixlr because of ease of use, and my familiarity with the product. They continue to make upgrades to the product and have always had what we feel we need to make top-notch looking graphics for our organization.
Pixlr is used by our organisation as a cheaper and more accessible version of photoshop. We use it to create graphics for our campaigns, as well as posters, report covers and other visual content for our work. Given that we use laptops with limited storage, we appreciate the web-based platform that Pixlr provides.
- Enables the user to use a range of fonts even in foreign languages

- The previous version of Pixlr, albeit more basic, was a lot easier to use

Pixlr has additional tools and a wider range of functionality than Piktochart and Canva and other similar tools. This can be a drawback for beginners, however for those staff who have more experience with graphic design it is very helpful in being able to get more creative with different editing options.

With Pixlr, we can professionally perform image retouching, employing layers, filters, saturation, contrast, filter, insert a caption, edge sharpening, overlays, and distortions, among the dozens of adjustments perfected in photographs with which you can get edits with professional effects. It has been wonderful because we have no problems with formats, supports different and facilitates understanding, strengthens our campaigns, and attracts potential customers.
- I love Pixlr because it has a wide variety of tools to achieve high quality in editing images and photographs, most simply, saving them in different formats or sharing them directly to social networks.
- For me, it is the best basic online image editor, with a very easy-to-understand and use interface. Something significant is that you don't need to register because it is free to use.
- Its use is simple; you have to access their page and start testing the full range of tools offered.
- So far, I haven't found anything I don't like in Pixlr; I like everything from its price to how it works.
- Pixlr generates a simple way to edit illustrative content and works wherever and whenever I want as long as I have an Internet connection.
- Pixlr offers something new and relatively easy to use that does not require excellent knowledge. In the case of professionals can make adjustments and artistic retouching of great value and excellent quality.
The support excellent, plus the price compared to others is low.
