With constantly updated features, the platform continues to improve the overall user experience. It has become a winning tool for app designers and testers, helping companies develop the best applications by providing valuable insights directly from users.

One of the unique benefits of PlaybookUX is that users have the opportunity to earn extra money by participating in studies conducted on the platform. This not only incentivizes user participation but also contributes to making the web a friendlier space while helping companies improve their products through real user feedback. Despite some occasional issues, PlaybookUX is widely regarded as a great tool that consolidates various UX testing functionalities into one convenient platform.

PlaybookUX offers a range of powerful features such as unmoderated live conversations, information architecture studies, and AI-powered transcriptions with sentiment analysis. These features save valuable time and act as a central research repository for users. It also proves valuable in creating personas, gathering feedback on prototypes, and simplifying the research synthesis process. Additionally, PlaybookUX's flexible pricing model accommodates ad-hoc tests based on specific needs and budgets.

Another key use case for PlaybookUX lies in feature and usability testing, enabling a better understanding of audience interactions with designs. The product team can leverage the platform to validate new features and gather feedback from the target demographic before diving into development. I am actually a PlaybookUX tester.
  • Ease of accessing tests
  • Ease of signing up for tests
  • Quick payment
  • With other testing platforms, I can update my profile, but I'm not sure how to do it with PlaybookUX.
  • It would be nice to have a login location where I can see my available tests.
The tests are easy to understand, easy to follow, and the instructions are clear.
  • Easy to understand test interface
  • Easy to access tests
  • Quick payment on tests
  • Test questions are easy to understand.
  • Test types are easy to follow.
  • Software needed is easy to download and use.
Comparable to UserTesting, Validately, and Intellizoom. My favorite is definitely UserTesting.com. Many tests are available to screen. The interface is very streamlined. I wish there was more tests available with PlaybookUX. The testing payment amount is very competitive with UserTesting and Validately.
Very responsive when I had a technical question about a test.
No, just free support.

We are using it mainly for feature and usability testing. It is very much helpful to understand how your audience interact with your designs, and PlaybookUX really helpful in this part.
  • Before actual release, it helps in getting trail user's feedback.
  • The dashboard to see how user interact with designs is really helpful.
  • Automatic usability testing feature is great (But needs little improvisation here).
  • Automated usability testing, it needs lots of tweaking before really automation. So lots of room for improvement.
  • Pricing for moderated sessions are really high.
  • It requires initial learning curve. It needs a dedicated resource at least fr a week to setup whole process.
If you are not sure how your audience interact with designs then it is really helpful. It might be less useful if product is already evolved.
  • Prototype Testing, We are using it before every release.
  • Usability automated testing; (Not using this frequently).
  • Understanding target audience behaviour through their data analytics dashboard.
  • Positive, if it is used properly then product evolution cycle can be fast forward.
  • It really help to build reputation of product, if with each release users like product.
  • If properly set, then automated usability testing can save a resource cost.
Both have different set of unique features and usability.

PlaybookUX allows us to quickly and easily conduct user testing at scale. I love how it makes it easy to generate transcriptions and summarize sentiment through its AI. Best of all, the pricing model is flexible and allows you to easily set up ad-hoc tests at whatever frequency makes sense for your needs and budget.
  • User testing
  • Auto transcription
  • User sentiment
  • User testing recruiting
  • Roll up summary of all transcriptions
PlaybookUX is fabulous for ad-hoc tests with small budgets, but can also scale up to larger projects easily. I've recommended the tool to several people and they love it, too!
  • Pricing
  • Reliablity
  • Speed
  • Quick testing at scale
  • Excellent price points
We are previous UserTesting.com customers but found their subscription model to be inflexible for our needs. PlaybookUX not only fit our budget, but the flexibility has let us scale up and scale down testing as needed.

The product team uses PlaybookUX to validate new features and get feedback from our target demographic on our prototypes before we send them to the development team.
  • They recruited our demographic.
  • Customer support was awesome.
  • Studies are very easy to set up.
  • I wish I could download reports.
  • They didn't have card sorting - I was able to use Trello for this so it was ok.
When you are trying to get feedback from users it's great to be able to use PlaybookUX because you don't have to do any of the manual work of conducting research. They take care of all of that for you. Great for companies who are short on time and don't want to do the administrative stuff.
  • We improved our product features before sending it to the development team which allowed us to not waste dev time building the wrong features.
  • We also spent less time conducting the research so we were able to do more research than we would have if we weren't using PlaybookUX.
Setting up a study only takes 5 mins. and you can preview a study before sending it out so you don't make any mistakes.
They use intercom so it's very easy to chat them and ask any questions. I really didn't need customer support all that much because it was easy to use but when I did, they were so helpful! They respond to you within minutes and answer any and all questions you have. They actually sent me a video walk though as well.
PlaybookUX is much cheaper than UserTesting.com. They are also easier to use and set up studies than user testing. I liked how simple it was and we could conduct both moderated and unmoderated for very cheap.
