We use Procore daily for the submission of submittals, RFIS, daily reports, punch list, observations. We just started adding in the financials to the company to make use of that because often times RFIs or submittals come back with change events associated with them. We manage construction projects from commercial-residential to hospitals and even retail spaces. Because we are stretched throughout New England it helps our company stay organized and up to date on drawings and outstanding items. We really appreciate everything that Procore has done for our company to get it into the 21st century.
  • Team collaboration.
  • Up to date drawings on site.
  • Document organization is amazing!
  • I think it is missing the end of the project owner's manual section, which would be really helpful for owners once the project is completed.
  • I think it is missing a way to support the editing of documents when the contractor is uploading submittals for the subcontractor. We should be able to upload the document and edit it right there instead of having to use products like Bluebeam to complete this step.
  • I think it needs a way to be able to do takeoffs. It could be an all-inclusive product right from the bidding and design development of the project.
I absolutely love Procore! It really does give that on-the-spot project organization and clarification on the project so that everyone is on the same page at all times. No documents are missed. You can adjust who you want to see the files. It's honestly a really good product!

Project data is securely managed on Procore and to manage Drawings and files and also the presentation creation, I was very quick using Procore tools. I like Procore's editing of multiple Engineering documents, sharings quick and its safety management capability is perfect. We collaborated easily with all our employees through Procore features and scheduling was easy and even file conversion.
  • Easy to access all documents from multiple projects.
  • Easy to communicate within a given project.
  • Files management is easy.
  • Tools can confuse the beginners on the initial Procore usability.
  • Not easy task to monitor all the activities from different projects.
  • To create effective multiple reports from all the active project is not easy.
To adapt to Procore features working concepts is an easy and flexible capability that allows free access to all the project data and the distribution of reports across the entire team's professionals is quick and very simple. The tool also gives the ability to budget and plan the project resources and the expense management functions on Procore are excellent.

Fountain Electric is an electrical contractor that utilizes Procore for the majority of our workflow operations. Procore has helped us consolidate most of our operations into one platform and has greatly increased our productivity on job sites. Procore acts as a central hub for accessing information easily and efficiently while out in the field.
  • Customer support is excellent
  • Very responsive to requests
  • Fast resolution to issues
  • Data/document tracking is much easier
  • Inspections have to individually be added to jobs; it would be better to have the option to apply to multiple or all jobs
  • Periodic issue with emails being delayed through Procore
  • Some technical issues with Drawings tool
Procore has proven itself as an invaluable resource for all of our job sites. Now that we use it, the old way of doing things seems so much more time-consuming and convoluted. Procore is an excellent resource for trades that are involved with industrial and commercial jobs. I would not recommend Procore for businesses that function only in a residential capacity.

Procore estimating is a huge breakthrough for specialty contractors. Being able to take off, estimate, and create bids all in the same platform is a huge step in efficiency and error reduction. The entire project management suite is very well put together from RFIs to Inspections and everything in between. Finally, the field productivity tools and reports are easy to use and provide progress insights.
  • Organization
  • Transparency
  • Communication
  • Reporting
  • Email function
  • Forms/document workflow
  • Specialty contractor implementation
Procore is ideal for general contractors, developers, and most specialty contractors that work in commercial construction. For these sectors, Procore has endless capability and benefits to offer. The more specialized, and further from typical commercial construction projects, the company is, the less Procore will be an ideal fit. I have found that these companies often have very specialized processes and adapting them to work with Procore often requires 3rd party integrations and often compromise.

We use Procore everyday for most of our construction projects. It makes my work life so much smoother and organized. We manage our submittals, RFIs, all project documents, as-builts, etc. through the software. It allows accountability for our subs and design team to respond to issues and reviews in a timely manner. It keeps track of workflows, and allows me to be able to handle multiple projects at once without issue.
  • RFIs
  • Submittals
  • Plan mark-ups
  • Spec mark-ups are missing from the software
  • Closeout procedures are missing as well
  • Needs easier project extracting
Procore is excellent for medium to large general contractors. Smaller contractors or sub contractors might find it unnecessary. It is a large, robust software, so you want to make sure you get the bang for your buck.

We manage all of our commercial projects through Procore. I use Procore for everything - document control, financial management/budget, quality/safety, etc. Procore is also how we communicate with the Design Team (architect, owner, consultants, etc.).
  • Mobile apps.
  • Tool integration.
  • Customer support.
  • Drawing mark ups.
If you work for a construction company, Procore will make your day-to-day life much easier and much more efficient.

I use Procore daily to look at drawings, RFIs, and Punchlist Items. Having Procore on my phone and iPad makes it simple to discuss different issues in the field without constantly having to come back to the trailer to look at the physical copy of the drawings. One of my favorite features of Procore is that ability to assign items to specific contractors so only they are able to see the item. It creates a clean and organized system for the entire project.
  • Organization - Procore has many different "tabs" and "sub-tabs" to allow for easy organization across all document and file types.
  • Ease Of Use - Procore is very easy to use or train someone to use.
  • Customer Support - Any time that I have had an issue with the software, customer support has been very pleasant to work with and they have always quickly gotten the issue lined out.
  • The mobile app could be improved. Some of the functions are a little "clunky" on the app vs. on the computer.
  • Marking up drawings could be a little more user friendly if there were more choices for standard construction markup types that are typically used in the industry.
Procore is perfect for the construction industry. All of the old school paper copies of files, permits, drawings, MSDS, submittals, and RFIs can all be located in one place and integrated between each other. I do not have experience using Procore in other industries but I can't see how it would be as useful in different situations.

Procore helps to have all documents in one place virtually. It can be used to distribute information to contractors and can be used to track many aspects of the project. I have used Procore construction projects such as new builds, renovations, and simple buildouts. Having all the information for a project at your finger tips via the app makes this program extremely useful.
  • Submittals.
  • RFI's.
  • Drawings.
  • Safety Tracking.
  • Financials.
  • Directory.
Procore is perfect for documentation and resource control. I've not used the financial portion of Procore so I'm not very familiar with it.

I use Procore to create and track submittals for all projects. We are either the prime contractor or subcontractor on Federal Jobs. I also create and distribute RFI's and updated responses from second or third-party contractors and engineers. Enter timesheets and track hours and associated cost codes. Upload specifications into Procore for each project and create new projects.
  • Submittals
  • Videos that are very helpful.
  • RFIs
  • I haven't run into anything yet that I would change.
  • I would like to see the specifications upload sooner.
I have only used Procore for certain functions and have found them very easy to use and the videos have been instrumental in explaining.

Procore is utilized for its ability to act as our smart hub or platform. We utilize the modules purchased as well as tie-in various apps and software that have a more specific need. Procore helps us keep track of our crews and projects in one place, regardless of how and where that data is captured. Utilizing Procore Analytics, we are able to bring in our data into Power BI and imbed the information in our Corporate Dashboards, which allow us a single frame of reference for all matters in our company at any given point in time, including live.
  • Budget management
  • Submittal tracking
  • RFIs
  • Drawing management and markup
  • Inspections
  • Deficiency Tracking
  • Incident Reporting and Tracking
  • Workflows in other tools other than submittals
  • More user-faced customization capabilities
  • More usable data without the need for Procore Analytics
Procore is great for companies with many employees and projects. If you find yourself constantly struggling to keep track of everyday project statuses, financials, and documentation, then this is the right solution. Procore is not necessarily the right solution for small companies that either don't self-perform or work on only 1-2 jobs at a time.

I currently use Procore within a steel fabrication shop. We purchased it to help in managing our documents, such as drawings and RFIs, traveling in and out of the office. It also appeared that it was going to aid and assist our erection crew by allowing them to post photos and give jobsite updates.
  • The transition from job to job is nice and smooth. Everything is oriented and set up to that particular job which helps keep everything in line.
  • The ability to review and note changes on drawings is helpful.
  • You can build your directory for your entire company as more projects are started.
  • Procore is really geared towards general contractors. We are a subcontractor and we don't need about half of the functions provided.
  • The upload time for drawings was absolutely atrocious. One time it took almost 2 hours to upload 13 drawings. It has gotten a bit better over the last few months but it is still much faster for me to shoot somebody a dropbox link.
  • The drawing recognition could use some work. The idea of automatically recognizing drawing numbers and revisions is fantastic. The issue i have found is I still have to go through every drawing and make sure it renamed and labeled everything correctly.
Procore has done a great job of molding to today's market. As a subcontractor, there aren't many software options available for project management and document control. Procore didn't do it for us either when they first started. Now, they have multiple options or levels of software that you can purchase to fit your needs. We don't need everything a General Contractor needs so we can but the subcontractor package and it works much better for us and we definitely get our moneys worth.

We use Procore to help keep our projects organized on a company level. We use the drawing tool to add current drawings for use in the field. We also use it to track things like who is onsite and who is on what crew, as well as what jobs are being completed and how.
  • Keeps drawings updated for the office and field workers
  • Keeps crews organized for the office and field workers
  • Using the time sheets eliminates the need for manual clocking in and out
  • More information on trouble shooting
  • An easier way to inactivate current workers
  • The placement of the next page icon should be at the bottom of the page
Procore is well suited for tracking employees' time on a daily basis. However, when viewing time cards, the icons for going to the next page would work better for me if they were at the bottom of the page.

We utilize Procore for all of our Multifamily construction projects. It is used for day to dya tracking of jobsite manpower counts, RFi's, Submittals as well as all cost issues. We also utilize it for creating our commitments with each of our subcontractors. It is also a helpful tool to have a place to upload all photos from the project in one spot.
  • Change management.
  • Daily log reporting.
  • Photo storage.
  • RFI/Submittals.
  • Document control.
  • Punchlist.
  • Private photo albums.
  • Daily Log entries by subcontractors.
It is more suitable for large scale construction projects, I am not sure how effective it would be on smaller projects like residential. This also works great for larger scale projects with multiple scopes, I am not sure how it would work for a specialty contractor who only typically has one scope of work.

We have switched to using Procore for our complete portfolio of in-field activities on job sites. Procore's cloud platform allows easier collaboration between our employees and stakeholders at other companies. We use it to share documents and communications between Sub's, Owners, and Engineers. Prior to using Procore, we were fighting with having silos of data in different applications. Procore allows us to centralize MOST of the data in one location.
  • Their mobiles apps are first class and rarely have issue.
  • They have first class webinar based training that is broken down by discipline.
  • Their workflows, once all is setup, are intuitive and easy to learn.
  • Most companies have heard of and use Procore, so it is rare we need to convince anyone to use it.
  • They only charge the main stakeholder of a job. Sub's and Owners can collaborate for free.
  • Their Superintendent focused features, such as field reports and RFI's, are smooth and easy to use.
  • The site is sometimes a bit slower than one would like.
  • If you are a high-volume GC, the pricing is "out of this world" compared to other solutions.
  • Their plan viewing is not as easy to use as one would like.
  • Reporting is quite hard to use when trying something other than standard template-type reports.
Well Suited:
1) Procore is well suited for any GC-run construction job where collaboration between the GC and other stakeholders will be required.
2) Companies that want to integrate other applications into Procore will be happy with the many available apps that can integrate.
3) Because it is cloud-based, companies that have little to no in-house IT support will be happy with the need for no IT infrastructure.

Not well Suited:
1) Small GC's with limited budgets may find the pricing to be too high.
2) If a job is so small that most collaboration will happen internally, Procore is overkill.

Procore is a great tool for solving many problems both from a day-to-day workflow perspective and at the project level. By having all documentation, drawings, change orders, etc. housed in a central location greatly reduces the amount of time spent searching through multiple platforms and internal folder directories to find items.
  • Drawing Management
  • RFI/Submittal Reports
  • Punchlist Management
  • Increased customization for workflows
  • Custom RFI templates
  • Closeout document tracking
Procore is a great tool for the supers in the field to present the most up-to-date drawings and specifications to the subcontractors. Saves time and money by guaranteeing the most accurate information is being referenced. The Drawings Tool is great for linking all relevant sketches, RFIs, submittals, etc. to specific drawings for greater collaboration amongst all project team members--from designers, to field supers, to subcontractors.

We manage close to everything construction administration-related within Procore. That includes requests for information, submittals, punch lists, field observations, document management, and more. Procore also allows for close collaboration with multiple parties (GCs, contractors, architects, engineers, etc.). They also try to continuously improve their platform from year to year.
  • Collaboration
  • Document Management
  • Continuously Evolving
  • Customer Support
  • Improve mobile applications
This program can be applied to almost any size project, whether it's a small retrofit to a large-scale new construction build. Training and use of the program are relatively straightforward and user intuitive. There are also a number of support resources and customer support available for issues that do arise.

I use Procore daily to manage construction projects and ensure quality assurance and quality control for the clients.
  • Allows us to generate reports
  • Store photos
  • Log daily reports
  • The formatting of user interface is sometimes poorly designed
  • The automated emails look VERY confusing and the presentation of information is not easy to quickly understand. We have trouble with some contractors ignoring these emails.
  • I wish there were more ways to customize daily reports. There are some categories that even admins cannot change.

We manage the construction of apartments with retail space in the Denver area. The major problem comes with managing over 300+ people involved in the project and around 10-20 different companies; Procore was a no-brainer to coordinate the entire job with everyone. If everyone is on the same page the project runs smoothly. The most used tool in our project is "Meetings" we lay down the work for the week for every subcontractor and distribute it to Foreman and Managers.
  • Punch Item follow ups
  • Safety Observations
  • Quality Control Observations
  • Drawing modifications and red lines.
  • Drawings use a lot of storage space in devices

Procore was selected as a tool to better facilitate field to office communications as well as track the multitude of paperwork involved with updates to the construction projects at a national laboratory. This as greatly streamlined our goals to digitize our project files, coordinate among various projects, and standardize our operations so it is consistent from one project to another.
  • Organize drawings including revisions and markups.
  • Track documents and the changes made to them.
  • Create a cloud based project repository for remote access by all stakeholders.
  • Simple notifications and reminders to all project members of tasks, responsibilities, and documents.
  • Quick, real time customer support to address all issues.
  • More customization in some aspects, understand some of these limitations but not all.
  • More granularity on subscription setups.
  • Need dynamic contact groups, shouldn't have to reset every tool when a new team member joins and is added to a group.
This has been a major benefit to our operations. Not something that is ready to go out of the box, but takes time to adapt, train, and find the best ways to apply in your business applications. This is where the power of the platform comes because every company can adapt it to their business practices.

We use Procore on a daily basis. We manage high residential estates. We build in the areas of Malibu, Brentwood, & Beverly Hills. One of my favorite things to do in Procore would be creating commitments. It is super easy and quick. I honestly have not incurred any issues with Procore. Perhaps the only issue I could say is that some of my sub-contractors are not tech-savvy and don't know how to maneuver it.
  • Uploading commitments
  • Directory
  • Project management dashboard
  • Documents
  • Platform
  • New web design
  • Easier to manage for people who aren't tech savvy.
Easy to store and manage documents. I love uploading plans. The new design on the commitments is pretty awesome. I honestly don't see much room for improvement as I feel that it works just fine. Perhaps the price of it is a bit too high, but that's how business is.

Procore has been implemented company wide and has greatly increased our project management efficiency. Submittals and RFIs now take 1/4 the time they used to, and creating a punch list is a piece of cake. We also use procore to manage employee and subcontractor time.
  • Speeds RFI process
  • Speeds Submittal Process
  • Helps consolidate drawings and documents for ease of tracking
  • punch list takes a while to enter repeat items.
Great for large and small scale construction management both in the office and in the field.

We use Procore as a central storage vault for project documents for all documents produced or used after the project award. We house drawings and specs, Subcontracts and their components parts, Change Order (all change management), RFI's, all correspondence with Owners and Subs. We do not use it for workflow tasks. Procore allows us a central repository of all project documents that can be accessed in the office or in the field and on the mobile app, so none of the team has to wait to get to a computer to access the information they need. Any changes that are made are real-time to all users so there are no "version" issues.
  • Stores Files.
  • Real time updates/changes.
  • Accessible on mobile devises.
  • Intuitive navigation.
  • Set your own file structure.
  • So far I have not experienced anything that requires improvement.
  • If someone adds you to a job directory in error, (or your assignment changes) it is tricky to get removed.
  • I wish the landing page was customizable.
Procore is well suited as a repository for documents that need to be accessed by people both in the office and in the field. Folders can be "locked" so only certain people have access to those. This is great for financials or badging/background check information. I know that there is a job cost management module but have not used so I can't speak to the efficacy of that. I think Procore would be less cost effective for a very small organization where all users could pull from a server and field personnel are accustomed to using paper still.

Keeps all project activities transparent and current for complete team collaboration.
  • Housing of complete project documents (one stop shop for all information).
  • Great budget tracking and live updating.
  • Management of vendor pay applications from submittal to funding.
  • Project drawing housing and indexing.
  • It is imperative that a notes column be added to the budget. We have to send the Procore budget into an excel format and add one ourselves for every project budget update presentation.

Procore helps solve many problems both day to day and at the project level. Having everything housed in one central location is very helpful and reduces time spent searching through multiple programs to find items. Being able to switch between tasks quickly and efficiently is a must, and Procore solves that problem.
  • Combines 90% of the items used on a day to day basis.
  • The usability of the reports, and customization.
  • Sending notifications to clients and subcontractors within the app.
  • The pay app can be cumbersome, and would be nice if it was easier to customize.
  • Adding notes to items in the budget after money applied or moved would be helpful.
  • Adding a feature that would allow the SOV to track changes, and keep a record.
Procore is very well suited in almost all aspects, it is very user-friendly and almost anyone could use it relatively easily without any training. I think Procore could integrate easier with more programs, and make it easier for Procore clients to set up, which could make Procore even more of a one-stop shop.
