Procore is a great software that is being implemented across our company, for now we have rolled it out to our construction project management team as well. We are also in the process of integrating the project owner and design team. With the ability to have all our project documents in one location we are able to have better over site of the health of a project.
  • The software has a great interface and is easy to work with.
  • The way Procore tracks cost on a project management side is vary useful.
  • The drawing section of Procore is easy to use and does a great job overlaying new updates.
  • Procore doesn't automatically populate items I hoped it would.
  • When looking for names sometimes it is by the last name and other times it is by the first name this is a little frustrating.
  • I wish Procore would allow for the ability to overlay different drawings.
I love using Procore and would recommend the every construction firm use it

Our company uses Procore as a project management hub. It has really been beneficial when we do General contracting jobs and need to track multiple commitments and trades. Procore struggles for our company when we have a big portfolio of active projects with one client. Due to reporting requirements, we are unable to use Procore.
  • Easy to use
  • Great for tracking documents
  • Meeting Minutes are great for Project records
  • Hard to utilize for big portfolio clients
  • Budgeting tool isn't diverse enough
At most of our client sites, we are unable to capture how multiple projects interact with Procore. It isn't set up to be a professional service and seems to be set up for general contracting.

I use PROCORE for managing multiple projects. It is used for updating schedules, uploading drawings, contracts and issuing necessary documentation to all members of the team.
  • The ability to access all project documents on the go via the app.
  • Organizes contract documents.
  • Updates schedules accurately and instantly.
  • The field gets "time-out" errors when there is poor reception.
  • More areas of Procore accessibility via the app.
  • More mark up options in the drawings section.
I like the ability to look at drawings, print and mark-up while in the field.

In our company Procore is implemented across all departments helping with both management of projects and the financial side of the project. It keeps all project information together on one platform which ensures that all information is readily available in real time. Anyone in the project team can track how the project is doing from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Very user-friendly- aka simple to follow
  • Provides learning tools for all aspects of its functions
  • Home page shows a great snapshot of the current project status
  • I think requisitions could be done systematically rather than having to open new pages for each new step
  • Still adapting to the Australian market
  • Not as flexible as it could be for differing contract types
Procore is fantastic for information gathering through the RFI and Submittal tools. This allows all approvals and requested information to be tracked and readily available at any time and by all people involved in the project. I think general emailing is easier through Outlook, although Procore does have a great tool for sending and receiving emails.

All three of our company divisions (development, design, construction) use Procore in varying capacities. The implementation of this sytem has greatly streamlined drawing distribution, construction administration and jobsite supervision/management.
  • I am very pleased with how easy it is to upload and distribute drawings.
  • Construction administration is much easier with the "Ball in Court" status.
  • Fully customized documents section works so well in keeping all the reports the field needs organized, as well as a reference copy of all permits and other necessary documents.
  • I would like a slightly easier way to mark drawings with the same sheet name but part of different disciplines or areas such as site walls that don't require an actual separate "drawings area" be set up.
  • Prime Contracts and budgets are a very steep learning curve.
  • I would like the OCR feature when uploading drawings to better read vertical text. It is more often that I have to manually recognize sheets and the OCR has not worked at all.
I think this works extremely well for the construction industry it was built for. It can be adapted for various other disciplines in the building industry as many people use it for budgeting separately from the construction department. It is extremely useful for far flung or remote teams.

Having Procore in a small firm ensures that everyone is on the same page. Accountants, to subcontractors, to architects use our interface and enjoy the organization it brings. It is very easy to upload requisitions, documents, drawings, and specifications.

When subcontractors are in the field, they appreciate the fact that they can pull up drawings on their phone while also ensuring that they are referring to the correct most up to date plans. It is very easy to approve payments, while also tracking budgets and cash flow.

It has brought our company to be very organized and always on top.
  • Budget Reporting - great to report back to a client
  • Insurance Management - stays on track and send emails when expired
  • Document and Drawings - great data base with access for everyone on a project
  • Implementing accurate templates
  • Automatically numbering requisitions
  • Adding billing periods for all projects at once
Procore is great for people that jump between the office, field and home office. It is available as an app so can be used on my phone or my iPad. I enjoy the functionality and to date don't see any downsides to it. I would like it to remember/auto fill more areas instead of starting from scratch each time, the requisition and billing periods specifically.

Procore is being used for operations and company file sharing.
  • Procore manages construction documents such as RFIs, submittals, and meeting agenda/minutes very well.
  • Procore organizes and tracks documents sharing. Procore also allows you to share and notify people of those same documents.
  • Procore is completely web accessible through an app or web via cellphone.
  • Procore does not allow for much tailoring to the company's needs. Procore does take our feedback and usually makes changes accordingly. With this process you have to wait for Procore to make the changes.
  • Sometimes Procore can be slow with massive project documents or large amount of punch items.
Procore is excellent for construction project management.

Procore is being used by the entire company. The software manages all of our project documents and saves them to particular tools offered. Procore has various tools not only for project management but also for financial information. One of the great things about the software is that custom tools and forms can be created for your company specific to your needs. We have several custom tools that help maintain certain information we like to see together that cannot be accomplished yet by the current reporting tool.
  • Procore has the options for subcontractors to submit payment requisitions through the software. This is an excellent tool because the subcontractor can only bill for line items and change orders that have been approved. It controls the payment application from beginning to end. The tool also sends emails to the subcontractors asking if they are going to bill and reminding them when the bill is due.
  • Ability for custom tools and forms.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • The reporting tool is coming along very nicely but there are still some areas for improvement. There are some fields offered in certain tools that cannot be reflected yet in a report.
Procore is great for all types and sizes of projects. It helps keep all the information in one place and the information is very easy to find. Overall, the software is extremely user-friendly and has an amazing support center with detailed instructions and videos and how to use each function and tool.

Procore is an enterprise application and is used company-wide by our construction operations team. We use it to manage projects from thousands of dollars to $200 million. It helps us manage complex projects with many stakeholders. It houses all information for the project.
  • Collaboration. Procore does a great job bringing all of the team members into a central knowledge base.
  • Mobile. Procore's mobile apps are top notch. Our associates and partners use the app onsite to access data when they need it.
  • Change Management. Procore has good built-in workflows for managing the mountains of change on projects.
  • Pricing Model. Revenue based pricing doesn't work in this industry anymore. Just because a project is $100 million doesn't mean that it will require more resources than a $50 million project.
  • Too many promises. Procore is quick to promise new features at groundbreak but, has yet to deliver on some they have made (sync).
Hands down the best product on the market (today). Works well for CMs and trade contractors alike. Not any scenario I can think of in the industry where it wouldn't be a benefit.

Procore is being used on most of our jobs with a major client. Procore is being used by the whole project team (construction, design, consultants). Many of the built in tools like RFIs, document storage, and access, and ease of plan set access across are critical to our success. Procore is a great system for storing everything in one place and sharing information with all involved parties.
  • Drawings - it allows any user with access to a specific project to view the plans without having to visit the site office or order prints. All updates are immediately shared across the entire project.
  • Ease of review of RFIs and submissions.
  • Customer service is top notch
  • Helps track project photos, and can mark up with portable devices in the field for problem solving.
  • The RFI tool needs to be able to redirect just like the submittal tool.
  • Better alignment of drawing history coordination.
  • Speed of upload and border name alignment.

Procore is being used across the whole organization but most heavily in the field operations department. It addresses accessibility of information, reduces double entry and is more user-friendly than previously used software.
  • Customer service is amazing. You have several avenues of gaining knowledge and access to your questions from real time chat to monthly webinars and published "how-tos".
  • Procore is missing functionality to record bonding status for subcontractors.
  • The inspections checklist could be expanded to allow for more responses.
Procore is well suited for onsite job staff to record and maintain project documents while allowing access to principles or anyone in the organization with appropriate permissions to check in from anywhere.

Procore is our cloud-based construction management software application that increases project efficiency and accountability by providing streamlined project communication and documentation. Users are able to manage their projects from any web-connected mobile device, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Procore provides users a way to collaborate on projects and view various documents, including submittals, RFIs, contracts, schedules, and drawings. Everyone from general contractors and architects to engineers and construction management firms are able to edit and share project data from the job site.
  • Very intuitive to use.
  • Mobile capabilities are excellent.
  • They are consistently releasing new tools and developing more efficient processes.
  • Customer service is top notch.
  • Speed - there is a general slowness in the product compared to other websites.
  • Sometimes missing the mark on development or releasing things before they have been thoroughly tested.
Procore is great for all projects/companies large and small!

Our entire organization uses Procore for a wide variety of tasks. On my current project we use it for document organization, progress photos, and even tracking PCOs. These functions are just scratching the surface of Procore's capabilities. It addresses many business problems, and as we transition to using Procore exclusively, it will continue to help us.
  • Daily log function. This tab has so many useful features like inspection log, man power log, and delivery log that allows us to stay organized on a day to day basis.
  • Another strength is the drawings tab. The way Procore allows us to link enlarged drawings or elevation within actual drawing sheets themselves makes it easy to go from sheet to sheet.
  • One last strength is the overall visual appeal of Procore. Procore looks good and when we invite new subcontractors to use the software they are usually impressed with how clean and straight forward Procore is.
  • The photos tab could use some work. It is extremely hard to reorganize pictures based only on uploaded or taken date rather than having more flexibility to organize photos and albums.
  • The server is extremely slow once a week. At least once a week someone in my field office (we have 10 employees on site) complains about how Procore isn't working or is taking forever.
  • Procore can also improve upon their design by streamlining the specs section.
Procore probably isn't ideal for any type of residential construction. On large projects, documents drive the flow of work and Procore is terrific at making it extremely easy to put all of your documents in one place to keep track of them. However, in residential construction, documents are not as important as relationships. A large general contractor has much to gain from Procore, but smaller outfits probably don't need it.

Procore is being used as an enterprise solution within our company to:
1. Improve access to information for the entire project team.
2. Provide a single solution for all project information.
3. Streamline and unify processes within our company.
4. Work more effectively and efficiently.
5. Being "cloud" based, it allows better connectivity in the field than hosting on our own servers.
6. Very easy to use and understand.
  • Easy to use. All of the tools in Procore are very user friendly.
  • Cloud based and it has an App. Better connectivity than hosting on own servers.
  • They are always improving their product.
  • I wish Specifications could be edited in the same fashion as drawings can be for posting of addenda.
We use Procore for all of our larger projects where there are plans, specifications, submittals, etc., as part of the contract documents. For smaller projects, say where a design discipline is not involved in the project or there are no submittals involved, we tend to not use Procore.

Procore us being used across our whole organization for use as complete job management. It addresses multiple problems we had in the past with organization, tracking, and just all around professionalism. What I love about the organization is that they want your company to grow and will continue to address any needs or questions in real time. I would absolutely encourage other companies to investigate how this product can help their business.
  • Drawing Organization and Review
  • Cost and Contract Tracking
  • Submittal and RFI Tracking
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Job Site Directories
  • Would like to be able to alter previous billings without having to delete the most recent one.
  • Would like to be able to alter previous change orders without having to delete or change to draft the most recent one.
Very well suited for a general contractor or construction manager. I would not recommend this for a PM (preventative maintenance) solution.

My organization uses procore from start to finish on all projects, we use it to do our bidding, uploading and distributing of drawings, submittals, and RFIs. We create our job directories through it; post daily field report/logs, and progress photos through out the job. Supervisors do the progress photos, inspection, and daily logs; managers use it for minutes, sending submittals, change orders, and RFIs. Accountants use it to compare budgets and change order details. It helps greatly with the ease of communication and maintains an organized and clear procurement log.
  • Distributing information: put in the email address of the subcontractor, vendor, engineer and then add them to the distribution chain along with whoever else needs to get it and then send it out.
  • Tracking projects: it helps us get from start to finish in one place, bidding to close outs, it does it all.
  • Creates documented logs: it is great because it records everything you do, when you sent an email, who it went to, when you wrote the change order, etc., it has everything documented so if there is ever an argument on when that was released or how long it has been in someone's possession; it always has a time stamp.
  • Their infrastructure needs serious ramping up, it seems to crash a lot when too many users in one place are using it or if too many people are looking at a certain project.
  • Photos are extremely slow to upload if you do not have lightning fast WIFI which is very seldom when you are on site as a supervisor trying to upload and document site progress.
  • It takes up A LOT of storage on your cell phone. I work on many projects for my company and talk to a lot of people via procore and my usage is near 7 GB!
I think the application has grown greatly and can be well suited in any event, it is perfect for all aspects of construction and project management especially.

My company uses Procore to manage our construction projects from award to completion, and have most recently integrated our accounting and payroll tracking into this system. Having our project and financial controls in one place has been incredibly effective, enabling us to better manage our time and increase our efficiency. Equally important is having all our project managers and supers using the same system and protocol for tracking and managing our projects, which allows us to help each other and pitch in on any project as needed.
  • Streamlined procedure for RFIs, submittals, and other documentation - Procore provides easy templates for putting together project control, distributing, and tracking all from one place.
  • Customization - the developers understand that our needs vary by user or project and we can customize our project's setup i.e. unit costing vs. lump sum, 1-tier to 3-tier change orders, customizing access by user.
  • Reports - Procore offers so many different reports on cost tracking, open RFIs, submittals, schedules, and most of these can be customized to suit the user. I use the financial reports most often to track how close to budget I am and identify any problem areas.
  • Procore has very good customer service. I've emailed their support team directly, but most often use their chat feature which is available from any page I'm on. In either case, I have always received prompt responses to help me get back on track.
  • Occasionally I'll run into a bizarre glitch which will hold me up, but usually it will resolve itself shortly.
  • I regularly do work at nights and on weekends from home, and I find that I don't usually receive, or notice, when a warning is given about when the site will be down.
I use Procore from the standpoint of a project manager tracking my own projects, not as a tool to track overall company workload, and have found it to be very effective with respect to tracking on my own and interacting with the design team. I haven't found it to be as well suited for communicating and integrating subcontractors, mostly because they are not interested or able to use Procore effectively or invest the time to learn how to use it.

Procore is used for all projects that HITT does. It mainly helps with keeping RFIs, submittals, any sort of tracking, meeting minutes, drawing revisions, etc., in order.
  • Does a great job with keeping track of various things.
  • Great for updating drawings and having the most up-to-date drawings available.
  • Great for communication with subs and clients.
  • Everything seems great to me as of now.
Great for construction management, but could probably also be applied to various other project management industries.

Procore is the tool that allows our company to help handle RFIs and submittals during the construction administration phase of some of our projects.
  • Integrated RFIs.
  • Click and Drag PDFs.
  • Tracking of internal emails.
  • Ease of Access.
  • Easier Dashboard to find RFIs.
  • Easier Dashboard to find Emails.
It is perfect for multi-residential, commercial, aged care, mining, and agricultural projects.

Procore has what the typical cloud based document storage services offer. Their user interface is a bit cumbersome with less customizable means to find any specific item. Keyword search does not seem to apply to the documents but just the field entered directly into Procore. There have been times where additional patience has been required to find the document needed.
  • We haven't lost an uploaded document.
  • The server is available 24/7.
  • Every email alert for new documents arrives.
  • User interface is cumbersome.
  • Keyword search should include document content.
  • Server lags when opening/downloading large files.
Procore is another cloud storage platform that will do well in time.

Procore is being used on a major project consisting of 4 buildings in downtown Vancouver. It is being used by the whole project team (construction, design, consultants). It is an easy to use interface for documentation and project management. The project is using it for drawings that have been issued, but more importantly, site instructions and addendums during the critical time of construction.
  • Ease of use of online interface
  • Great help in the work that project managers perform
  • Flexible and agile regarding how you can download and share files
  • If the how to training video would pop up on the first login, that would be helpful rather than looking for it.
Well suited for major project construction stages.

Procore is being used company-wide to create a centralized system for managing multiple multi-million dollar construction projects and increase accessibility to information for our sub-contractors. It aids in creating a digital trail for all changes throughout the project. It makes site plans more accessible and makes any updates or changes immediately shared with everyone. It is a great system for storing everything in one place and sharing information with all involved parties.
  • Inspections - photos can be immediately attached to any inspection, which is especially convenient with mobile devices through the Procore app.
  • Drawings - it allows any user with access to a specific project to view the plans without having to visit the site office or order prints. All updates are immediately shared across the entire project.
  • Daily Log - it tracks local weather along with manpower logs, safety infractions, and loads of other information
  • Safety - with its increased focus in construction, they should have more tools implemented to aid with safety information, including first aid tracking and trend analysis reports. Being able to share specific safety infractions with the sub-contractor would be an immense help.
  • Directory - it should separate people vs. companies, instead of listing everything toegther.
  • Photos - it should be possible to upload photo albums through Procore drive, without them appearing under the documents tab.
It's great for large general contractors as it's a great platform for centralizing information for an entire project. For smaller companies with fewer sub-contractors, it could be more of a hassle to run everything through the system instead of working directly with them. It's nice for connecting all involved parties on a big project.

Our organization is relatively new to Procore and rolling out the use of the program. Procore is a user-friendly tool for our projects and provides centralized sharing of information and an organizational platform that is highly functional. We have had very good adoption of the program even with less sophisticated users. The tutorials available are straight forward and informative so if you have questions on the use of Procore you can easily find the answers you need. The most useful for me is the drawings comparison tool and the RFI and submissions functions.
  • Comparison function of drawing revisions.
  • Ease of review of RFIs and submissions.
  • Ease of use, user-friendly interface and support functions.
  • Responding to observations is not intuitive.
  • The admin permissions are not clearly available to me as a user - it would be good to know what permissions exist and which ones are assigned to me as the user.
  • Photos in the daily log function are small and hard to see, increase the size of the pop up window and the photo thumbnail size.
Procore is excellent for progress meetings - all the information is at our fingertips. Procore on a tablet is missing some functionality that the desktop version has and it would be helpful to have the same level on both devices.

Over the last 6 years of using Procore it has become a vital part of our company culture. We even use it during presentations to potential clients. Our entire team has adapted it to our projects, from our sub contractors, architects, and even some clients. It has simplified the submittal process drastically. The use of the report filtering makes it easier to find specific daily reports or even notes taken.
  • Helps track project photos
  • Simplifies the submittal procedures
  • The filter reports help track and find things easier
  • Integrating schedules
I can't think of a scenario where it's not appropriate.
