(651-675 of 826)Procore the next Step in Management Software
- The software has a great interface and is easy to work with.
- The way Procore tracks cost on a project management side is vary useful.
- The drawing section of Procore is easy to use and does a great job overlaying new updates.
- Procore doesn't automatically populate items I hoped it would.
- When looking for names sometimes it is by the last name and other times it is by the first name this is a little frustrating.
- I wish Procore would allow for the ability to overlay different drawings.
PROCORE!!!
- Easy to use
- Great for tracking documents
- Meeting Minutes are great for Project records
- Hard to utilize for big portfolio clients
- Budgeting tool isn't diverse enough
Procore for PMs!
- The ability to access all project documents on the go via the app.
- Organizes contract documents.
- Updates schedules accurately and instantly.
- The field gets "time-out" errors when there is poor reception.
- More areas of Procore accessibility via the app.
- More mark up options in the drawings section.
Procore Review
- Very user-friendly- aka simple to follow
- Provides learning tools for all aspects of its functions
- Home page shows a great snapshot of the current project status
- I think requisitions could be done systematically rather than having to open new pages for each new step
- Still adapting to the Australian market
- Not as flexible as it could be for differing contract types
Dynamic Procore
- I am very pleased with how easy it is to upload and distribute drawings.
- Construction administration is much easier with the "Ball in Court" status.
- Fully customized documents section works so well in keeping all the reports the field needs organized, as well as a reference copy of all permits and other necessary documents.
- I would like a slightly easier way to mark drawings with the same sheet name but part of different disciplines or areas such as site walls that don't require an actual separate "drawings area" be set up.
- Prime Contracts and budgets are a very steep learning curve.
- I would like the OCR feature when uploading drawings to better read vertical text. It is more often that I have to manually recognize sheets and the OCR has not worked at all.
Assistant Project Manager's Procore Review
When subcontractors are in the field, they appreciate the fact that they can pull up drawings on their phone while also ensuring that they are referring to the correct most up to date plans. It is very easy to approve payments, while also tracking budgets and cash flow.
It has brought our company to be very organized and always on top.
- Budget Reporting - great to report back to a client
- Insurance Management - stays on track and send emails when expired
- Document and Drawings - great data base with access for everyone on a project
- Implementing accurate templates
- Automatically numbering requisitions
- Adding billing periods for all projects at once
Procore is a Great Construction Management Software
- Procore manages construction documents such as RFIs, submittals, and meeting agenda/minutes very well.
- Procore organizes and tracks documents sharing. Procore also allows you to share and notify people of those same documents.
- Procore is completely web accessible through an app or web via cellphone.
- Procore does not allow for much tailoring to the company's needs. Procore does take our feedback and usually makes changes accordingly. With this process you have to wait for Procore to make the changes.
- Sometimes Procore can be slow with massive project documents or large amount of punch items.
Procore is Awesome!
- Procore has the options for subcontractors to submit payment requisitions through the software. This is an excellent tool because the subcontractor can only bill for line items and change orders that have been approved. It controls the payment application from beginning to end. The tool also sends emails to the subcontractors asking if they are going to bill and reminding them when the bill is due.
- Ability for custom tools and forms.
- Excellent customer service.
- The reporting tool is coming along very nicely but there are still some areas for improvement. There are some fields offered in certain tools that cannot be reflected yet in a report.
Pro Procore
- Collaboration. Procore does a great job bringing all of the team members into a central knowledge base.
- Mobile. Procore's mobile apps are top notch. Our associates and partners use the app onsite to access data when they need it.
- Change Management. Procore has good built-in workflows for managing the mountains of change on projects.
- Pricing Model. Revenue based pricing doesn't work in this industry anymore. Just because a project is $100 million doesn't mean that it will require more resources than a $50 million project.
- Too many promises. Procore is quick to promise new features at groundbreak but, has yet to deliver on some they have made (sync).
My complete review
- Drawings - it allows any user with access to a specific project to view the plans without having to visit the site office or order prints. All updates are immediately shared across the entire project.
- Ease of review of RFIs and submissions.
- Customer service is top notch
- Helps track project photos, and can mark up with portable devices in the field for problem solving.
- The RFI tool needs to be able to redirect just like the submittal tool.
- Better alignment of drawing history coordination.
- Speed of upload and border name alignment.
Procore Review
- Customer service is amazing. You have several avenues of gaining knowledge and access to your questions from real time chat to monthly webinars and published "how-tos".
- Procore is missing functionality to record bonding status for subcontractors.
- The inspections checklist could be expanded to allow for more responses.
- Very intuitive to use.
- Mobile capabilities are excellent.
- They are consistently releasing new tools and developing more efficient processes.
- Customer service is top notch.
- Speed - there is a general slowness in the product compared to other websites.
- Sometimes missing the mark on development or releasing things before they have been thoroughly tested.
Procore review
- Daily log function. This tab has so many useful features like inspection log, man power log, and delivery log that allows us to stay organized on a day to day basis.
- Another strength is the drawings tab. The way Procore allows us to link enlarged drawings or elevation within actual drawing sheets themselves makes it easy to go from sheet to sheet.
- One last strength is the overall visual appeal of Procore. Procore looks good and when we invite new subcontractors to use the software they are usually impressed with how clean and straight forward Procore is.
- The photos tab could use some work. It is extremely hard to reorganize pictures based only on uploaded or taken date rather than having more flexibility to organize photos and albums.
- The server is extremely slow once a week. At least once a week someone in my field office (we have 10 employees on site) complains about how Procore isn't working or is taking forever.
- Procore can also improve upon their design by streamlining the specs section.
Procore - A Complete and Comprehensive Solution
1. Improve access to information for the entire project team.
2. Provide a single solution for all project information.
3. Streamline and unify processes within our company.
4. Work more effectively and efficiently.
5. Being "cloud" based, it allows better connectivity in the field than hosting on our own servers.
6. Very easy to use and understand.
- Easy to use. All of the tools in Procore are very user friendly.
- Cloud based and it has an App. Better connectivity than hosting on own servers.
- They are always improving their product.
- I wish Specifications could be edited in the same fashion as drawings can be for posting of addenda.
Procore Project Management
- Drawing Organization and Review
- Cost and Contract Tracking
- Submittal and RFI Tracking
- Meeting Minutes
- Job Site Directories
- Would like to be able to alter previous billings without having to delete the most recent one.
- Would like to be able to alter previous change orders without having to delete or change to draft the most recent one.
Great product for Project Managers!
- Distributing information: put in the email address of the subcontractor, vendor, engineer and then add them to the distribution chain along with whoever else needs to get it and then send it out.
- Tracking projects: it helps us get from start to finish in one place, bidding to close outs, it does it all.
- Creates documented logs: it is great because it records everything you do, when you sent an email, who it went to, when you wrote the change order, etc., it has everything documented so if there is ever an argument on when that was released or how long it has been in someone's possession; it always has a time stamp.
- Their infrastructure needs serious ramping up, it seems to crash a lot when too many users in one place are using it or if too many people are looking at a certain project.
- Photos are extremely slow to upload if you do not have lightning fast WIFI which is very seldom when you are on site as a supervisor trying to upload and document site progress.
- It takes up A LOT of storage on your cell phone. I work on many projects for my company and talk to a lot of people via procore and my usage is near 7 GB!
I drank the Procore Kool-Aid.
- Streamlined procedure for RFIs, submittals, and other documentation - Procore provides easy templates for putting together project control, distributing, and tracking all from one place.
- Customization - the developers understand that our needs vary by user or project and we can customize our project's setup i.e. unit costing vs. lump sum, 1-tier to 3-tier change orders, customizing access by user.
- Reports - Procore offers so many different reports on cost tracking, open RFIs, submittals, schedules, and most of these can be customized to suit the user. I use the financial reports most often to track how close to budget I am and identify any problem areas.
- Procore has very good customer service. I've emailed their support team directly, but most often use their chat feature which is available from any page I'm on. In either case, I have always received prompt responses to help me get back on track.
- Occasionally I'll run into a bizarre glitch which will hold me up, but usually it will resolve itself shortly.
- I regularly do work at nights and on weekends from home, and I find that I don't usually receive, or notice, when a warning is given about when the site will be down.
Procore, what a software!
- Does a great job with keeping track of various things.
- Great for updating drawings and having the most up-to-date drawings available.
- Great for communication with subs and clients.
- Everything seems great to me as of now.
Procore Critique
- Integrated RFIs.
- Click and Drag PDFs.
- Tracking of internal emails.
- Ease of Access.
- Easier Dashboard to find RFIs.
- Easier Dashboard to find Emails.
It may not be beneficial for small one band outfits.
In time, Procore will do well.
- We haven't lost an uploaded document.
- The server is available 24/7.
- Every email alert for new documents arrives.
- User interface is cumbersome.
- Keyword search should include document content.
- Server lags when opening/downloading large files.
User-Friendly Procore
- Ease of use of online interface
- Great help in the work that project managers perform
- Flexible and agile regarding how you can download and share files
- If the how to training video would pop up on the first login, that would be helpful rather than looking for it.
Procore Review
- Document Management
- Drawing Organization
- Task Accountability
- Work Order Tool
- Time Sheets
- Inspections - photos can be immediately attached to any inspection, which is especially convenient with mobile devices through the Procore app.
- Drawings - it allows any user with access to a specific project to view the plans without having to visit the site office or order prints. All updates are immediately shared across the entire project.
- Daily Log - it tracks local weather along with manpower logs, safety infractions, and loads of other information
- Safety - with its increased focus in construction, they should have more tools implemented to aid with safety information, including first aid tracking and trend analysis reports. Being able to share specific safety infractions with the sub-contractor would be an immense help.
- Directory - it should separate people vs. companies, instead of listing everything toegther.
- Photos - it should be possible to upload photo albums through Procore drive, without them appearing under the documents tab.
New user, top notch technology
- Comparison function of drawing revisions.
- Ease of review of RFIs and submissions.
- Ease of use, user-friendly interface and support functions.
- Responding to observations is not intuitive.
- The admin permissions are not clearly available to me as a user - it would be good to know what permissions exist and which ones are assigned to me as the user.
- Photos in the daily log function are small and hard to see, increase the size of the pop up window and the photo thumbnail size.
Procore is awesome
- Helps track project photos
- Simplifies the submittal procedures
- The filter reports help track and find things easier
- Integrating schedules
