Procore is being used to support Agency Construction Management. Primary tools being used in Drawings, Specifications, RFI's, Submittals and Procore Drive.
  • Able to fine tune configuration of users
  • Unlimited users
  • Large selection of tools
  • Convenient dashboard
Cons
  • Re-submittals are routed directly to previous reviewers and not through CM
  • Submittals assigns extension of review time every time submittal move to next person in the workflow
  • The biggest issue is that it is primarily a contractors tool, but can do support some functions of Agency Construction Management
  • Financial tool difficult to configure for agency CM
Good for use by the contractor, not so good for agency CM.

We use procore for all aspects of the construction project. It is a great tool for RFIs, submittals, and the procore drive is fantastic for storing important documents readily accessible to the whole project team.
  • Communication, being able to track RFIs and submittals is key.
  • Procore Drive for being able to keep all project documents in one place readily accessible for the entire project team.
Cons
  • The website gets slow sometimes
  • Procore Drive crashes sometimes
Procore is perfect for general contractors having to manage the entire project. It would be less suited for sub contractors. Having to communicate all the project documents to the architect, owner, and all subcontractors is important and procore has all those abilities. I believe it works well for architects to review RFIs and submittals.

We use Procore in construction and development within our company. Procore helps us with estimating, drawing management and distributionRFIfi, safety logs & reports, delegation of tasks and responsibility, and more. I really like the ease of drawing management and tracking. I like the ability to see who we have bid to and who has responded to bid invites. Procore allows me to track my work and what I have and haven't done. It keeps those involved honest, including me.
  • Drawing management.
  • Bidding.
  • Reports.
  • Photo Management.
  • Time Management
Cons
  • Contact List isn't always easy to edit.
  • Procore Drive can be confusing.
  • Drawing numbers that are outlines do not get picked up through the software.
The bidding process is a great through Procore. I don't know where it isn't appropriate in what we do. I do believe that it is great for split second decisions. I know that it does well with responsibility of everyone in the project. Procore does well from the start to the finish of the project.

Procore pros.

Procore is used across our field operations teams and management. In my experience, it has been a great tool in keeping everyone updated on progress and changes within any given project and continues to grow in exceeding my personal expectations.

  • Schedule updates
  • Submitted data
  • Daily logs
  • Directory
Cons
  • Uploading can be an issue with the mobile app
  • Limiting emails sent out for updates
  • Grouping submitted data options
Using procore in the commercial construction field is exceptional for project management, keeping all parts of the operations team in sync with the necessary information to drive a project to completion.

We use Procore to manage the documents for our different projects. It helps us to stay organized and keep track of various items such as contracts, quotes, and the schedule. Procore helps us to keep all of our photos in the same spot. We can refer back to them to find problems that we may have missed.
  • Organization
  • Structure
  • Risk Management
Cons
  • Communication with Subcontractors
  • Getting subcontractors involved
  • Integration with other programs
Procore works very well for general contractors. It is hard to learn the program, but once you do it becomes a great asset. I think Procore works well for subcontractors who are willing to learn a little about the program and how to use it. Not all subcontractors are willing to use it and I think that is where Procore falls a little short.
