Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Procore's standard is a web-based program so you can use it anywhere at any time. Foundation is connected to a server and requires extra steps to access. I am currently using Procore because it is the required program at my company.

I have used PlanGrid, and their products are very similar. I do think that Procore is more user-friendly and has a whole lot more options than when working with PlanGrid. One of the best parts of Procore is that companies you work with don't need to have a Procore account to access your projects in Procore - they instead are part of your account.

Procore is better all around to navigate.
It would be very nice to have the option to preview drawings when invited as a subcontractor during preconstruction. I think the other 2 mentioned above have that. With Procore you have to download the entire package.

The Perfect Fit

We've tried BuilderTrend in the past but it was not right for our organization. It didn't have the features we needed that would keep the team self-efficient. We tried Procore and it just fit. The setup was simple and we did not spend a lot of time onboarding the team. This is essential when you don't have a specific project manager and need everyone to step up.

Sitedocs is a safety management software. Does it well, Procore just had everything in one app. Although there were many QC HR and safety features that are very missed since switching. The ability to all in one spot outweighs but hoping we will start to see these other features added. Esub, just not as powerful as Procore. Only missing being able to have hidden % markup on change orders to hide your true cost for invoice breakdowns

Procore is a better solution than either of these products. I chose Procore for our company because I had used it at another company and really appreciated the way it helped me stay organized. I also liked the fact that we can issue an iPad to our superintendent and he will be able to input his daily log, take pictures, look at drawings, review RFIs, etc. as he walks around the site using the mobile app.

We have used Lotus Notes. That was an old, antiquated program that handles most of the items included with Procore. But there's really no comparison between the two. Lotus Notes was glitchy and cumbersome, and Procore has been quite streamlined. Many sub's now use Procore as well as Architects, so that makes it easier to use.

Since we only used part of the functions of Procore, I'm not qualified to answer this question. I believe it would have been good. I currently use QuickBooks. The upside to Procore is that it connects the project side with the accounting side. We only used the project side.

PlanGrid is better, simpler, and the app and website do not crash. It's not trying to do too much all the time - just a few tasks in simple ways. Procore tried to unify so many things, that it ended up not doing any of those things really well. Also, Procore servers were constantly crashing.

Bim 360 field is great for tracking field issues and equipment installation. However, Autodesk is very behind on document and cost control. They either don’t have it integrated or are just very behind. Procore has everything combined. Procore’s punch list tool is not as good as Bim360, but is good enough to be used and is worth it when you get all the other integrations from cost and document controls.
