We use Procore to close out a project and out all of our subcontractors' closeouts in a file and distribute it to the client. Here, he can find his red lines, photos of the project, reports, directory, etc.

These benefits have been hit or miss. On our project, cell phone service is spotty at best and WiFi does not go through all floors. With a mobile hot spot, it is very good and people are able to bring up drawings, product data, specifications, shop drawings and other items on the site. Unfortunately without data readily available to pull from, we are somewhat limited at what we are able to do with mobile actions. The cloud however in full internet capability is great as items are updated in real time. We consistently add users for continued success and we are constantly uploading submittals, drawings and specifications for real time changes so everyone is working off of the most current set of information.

We have definitely benefited from the collaboration of Procore. If we get a new set of plans and upload them to Procore they are automatically distributed to the guys working in the field. Another feature that is nice is tracking items such as RFI's. You can see at any point in time who's "ball in court" the RFI is in and make sure that it keeps moving swiftly.

So our stakeholders are clients, subcontractors, consultants all working from different locations and at different times. Procore can be used at any time and from any location with web access.
Personally I work alot outside of standard working hours and this has benefited me greatly.
Our stakeholders are able to respond either in the documents folder or directly on an RFI or submittal and the information always stays in Procore.

We have recently used Procore to share notes from a mid-design review with our design team. The notes were taken in one place (directly on the drawings) and submitted to the team for action steps. By using the responsible party function we are able to notify and keep track of who is addressing the items. We have used the project e-mail function within Procore to announce project wide updates to the team.

We have absolutely benefited from these capabilities. We recently completed a project for a large client of ours in which we used Procore to the full extent possible for the project. It allowed for better more streamlined communication between owner, architect and ourselves. It allowed our field personnel to have the information they needed in real time and helped save time and money in wrong information or delay in information flow.

Most of our Subcontractors are comfortable in maneuvering around in Procore, which makes working with them a breeze. They can go in and see any CCO's and create their own requisitions, but other subcontractors information is private. In the event that an error is made, a phone call to our office to delete the created requisitions is just a matter of minutes.

This is the word that I am mostly like. But we already have a problem with the client using part of the financial control over the contract. He stopped using his own financial control and our engineer missed putting one number correctly. At the end this is a human mistake but this is an example of one of the problems that I had with client user, this happen on the first Procore project implementation, so we keep learning and avoid this type of mistakes.

We have benefited from these capabilities because our projects can be hours away from our offices. Procore helps to document and share information to all of our stakeholders without long conversations on the phone or long emails.

The fact that Procore's pricing model does not involve the number of users was a primary reason why Butier Engineering was able to implement the software. Butier's role as CM as an agent means that dozens of individuals from many different entities need to have full access to the program. Many of Procore's competitors either do not explicitly allow users from other entities to access the software or pricing quickly becomes prohibitively expensive and the project becomes "crippled" by limiting access to a single designated individual per entity. Procore's ease of use, intuitive interface, and unlimited storage and access for an unlimited number of users were primary purchase points for Butier.

Procore's collaboration capabilities allow multiple Superintendents to work anywhere anytime. That allows for Project Managers to take that information and produce great snapshots for Owners and Subcontractors to understand what is happening and what still needs to be done in order to complete a project on time and under budget.

If we had the time to get everyone to use it, this would benefit the company. But since it takes so much time to get everyone onboard, we never really reached full collaboration. We wanted to love it, but just couldn't get there.

We have most definitely been able to benefit. We have several projects where the client contact is based out of a different state and isn’t able to come to the job site. Because of the ease of setting up users in Procore, we have been able to provide access to the clients entire project team and hey have been able to get daily progress photos and stay up to date on what is happening on the job site 1000 miles away.

The unlimited user license is a wonderful selling point with Procore. With multiple subs, on multiple jobs, and each sub having different users, plus owners and architects, and our own company having many people needing access, it would not have been beneficial if we had to pay per user.

More and more of the companies we do business with (GCs) are using Procore, and the collaboration capabilities have been very helpful. The owners really like being able to go in and see project photos, RFIs, and reviewed submittals. Vendors like that the email they get out of Procore does not require that they actually go into Procore, (i.e., the reviewed submittal is attached), and they can find the email remotely if it is needed in the field. Where we aren't getting as much buy-in is with the architects. As more and more contractors use Procore, that issue will fix itself.
