The unlimited user option was a HUGE selling point. Not having to worry about how many licenses you have means we can invite everyone (internal, vendors, subcontractors, etc.). This helps with adoption and the tools in Procore work more efficiently if all parties are involved.

We have absolutely benefitted from the collaborative aspect, as we require all of our employees (on-site and off-site) to use Procore, and most of our subcontractors use it as well. We're a little more hesitant to invite our owners/clients to Procore, but that does work well for some of our Project Managers. My favorite part is the collaboration with the subcontractors on their invoicing--the ability to have a Project Engineer (PE) or Project Manager (PM) enter a change order which is then immediately available for a subcontractor to add to their billing is terrific, and saves me a ton of time.

The unlimited user licenses are very useful in getting subcontractors to buy into using the system. Subs love the fact they can use the system without having to invest in additional software. Once they realize the initial time spent learning the software will make their job easier, they have no issues getting on board with the system.

The ability to enter data one time and then produce reports is amazing. I would like to see a few other features with reporting, but overall their customer reporting tool is great and I have made a ton of reports. The more we grow the more reports I make to keep us effective. Each tool has reporting features as well to drill down. It helps us have very efficient communication and decision making meetings. So, overall, Procore has helped us be organized and very efficient. We use a few office staff to manage a lot going on in the field. However, the approval flow in Procore is not that good. I have recommended there be a way for Project managers to approve a bid (in bidding tool) so that it can be made a PO and that a PM can approve a CE for a CO or PCO. I have created my own statuses in Change events so we can discuss the workflow. Overall change events is a great tool. I think there are some other approval flows for pay apps and invoices but I have not started using them. I want to look into these soon.

Our company benefits from cloud-based access. This allows our service team to access important drawings and structural maps while on a job site in obscure locations. This cuts down on the need to travel back to the office, saving on travel time and expense. This function also eliminates any breakdown in communication over the phone.

This is one of the primary reasons my company adopted the use of Procore, to share with not only internal team members but those who are external as well. We benefit from this on a daily basis, as our subcontractor's view all of the plans in the field every day using the software. Our owners also use the software for viewing submittals, RFIs, tracking payment, etc. on the jobs they are associated with.

It is a great feature for clients and consultants. There are many clients in this information age looking for something relatively user-friendly where they can get regular updates on their own without having to wait for a return phone call or email. Procore helps to provide instant updates. It can go a long way to creating a better relationship with a client.

Procore does not enable easy collaboration between us (subcontractors) and General Contractors. I have not really benefited from any of my experiences with Procore in any way that I can think of. Again, it's not subcontractor friendly, and when I get an invite in Procore I find a way not to use it.

Yes, we have benefited from cloud-based access. On one project the client was in Florida, the designer was in North Texas, the project was in South Texas, and the project manager was in South Carolina. It was very helpful to have all information available to everyone that needed it.

Our owners love being able to see how their build is progressing through the photos tool. Senior Management also likes that they can get almost real-time updates on all projects.

Procore has worked well for sharing information between users especially between on-site supervisors and in office project managers. Being able to use markups on photos, etc. to be able to share information helps a lot.

I have benefited from the cloud-based access. This was an issue with using other software, because I could not be in the field and have access to all documents related to the project. Being able to make mark-ups on drawings in the field is extremely useful to my team.

Procore has helped us by allowing the different stakeholders on our projects access to see the documentation, while not necessarily needing to be copied on the day-to-day correspondences. It's also been a nice "one-stop" spot for all things related to the project, including time-lapse video. Our project managers appreciate the ability to respond to RFIs on the fly, by using the mobile app, rather than needing to wait until they return to the office. It's also convenient to be able to access the program from any computer, anywhere, at any time, if needed, rather than needing to access a desktop based program.

The functionality and accessibility of Procore have been very beneficial from the standpoint of the sharing, and discussion of designs, field issues, solutions between us, our clients, our subcontractors, our City Building Officials, and our consultants. There have been numerous times when a field condition has arisen where we have beenforced to create an RFI, and the ability to do this from the field where you can take pictures, attach them to the RFI, and ship it all off to the engineer, or architect. They can have immediate access to this data on Procore, and we are able to discuss the solution in moments when necessary is invaluable.
Then when a Building Inspector wishes to see the RFI response, while in the field, it is very easy to pull up the RFI response, and see all the supporting documention from the field by simply calling it up on his smartphone, or tablet.

The cloud-based platform works great in being able to keep all parties up to date in real time. Owners love to see progress photos as they happen. Field superintendents are spending less time on paperwork and providing more information into the project record than using paper reporting. This has benefited marketing for new work and assisted in resolving disputes in our favor as the facts are at our fingertips.

We do use Procore with GC's and some subs. That is how we actually learned of the software when we were a sub. It's definitely a beneficial feature when you have field workers and office workers who need to be in constant touch.
