First of all the general outline of the software is great. It is well developed and structured. Our main use has been the financial one, and let me tell all the system are working just fine. Not only from my employees but also from my suppliers and clients. Probably the only task missing is the computation of unit prices.

Procore allows us to keep real time documentation available at the job site. The Procore app allows our people as well as the workers in the field access to submittals, RFIs and contract documents. If there is a question in the field they do not need to walk back to the trailer to get the information, it right on their phones.

Common theme. Millenials want great tools which give them the ability to be noticed. They want all of the information and a way to access it without moving. We want to be able to see the quality of work and when it is being done and by whom and track the amount of time. We want our employees to manage themselves and have the ability to call out safety and quality items and be sure that they will be addressed.

It is the future.

We use all modules of Procore to achieve all of the above. From gaining visibility into projects to streamlining financial reporting, Procore has enabled us to use our limited time resource more efficiently. Our field team is able to do more by taking over tasks that the office had to assist with. In addition, our office team is able to see what's going on at the job site very easily.

The Budget, Prime Contract, Commitments, Change Orders, and Directory modules are great for setting up and monitoring a project. It's also great to have our field employees be able to access items that they would otherwise not be able to.

Based on its cloud feature it makes the info accessible for anybody with an internet device. You can document job site conditions with your own phone app; same with a report on incidents. Procore links almost everything within the project, so that is the way it helps to achieve goals. It also has the ability to link to an ERP link to think every software. We used to do the ERP link to Sage and this gives the ability to track cost impact on the field and so on.

There is a complete set of tools that help in the correct communication of the different tasks. A photograph can be attached to a blueprint, lets you create an observation, an RFI, a Change Order, a modification on the budget. And you are able to keep track of the whole process.

The timesheet interface helps track employee time and how it was spent, which in turn has helped track useful data for our business modules.

Submittal logs and RFI logs are key for day to day information to be immediately accessible in the field. The change order system also helps to track changes, both requested by the design team and items that occur in the field as work progresses. And finally, the document section acts as a shared hard drive for all people associated with the project to document reports, inspections, etc.

As stated earlier on in the review process I am new to both this position and this software. Our company is undergoing a transition and we haven't yet entirely switched processes to fully utilize Procores capabilities. It is likely that after company-wide acceptance and understanding have been achieved most goals will be achieved.
