Qlik Sense is a great visual analytics tool for global leaders or hyper-growth companies
PBI has decent dashboarding capabilities, but cannot be compared to Qlik in terms of governance of the self-service. The Associative Experience of Qlik is super valuable for us and Power BI does not have it. Power BI also does not have the powerful backend of Qlik. I would say it is a nice tool for simplistic entry-level reporting or if you are ready to sacrifice functionality for the seemingly lower price of Power BI. Not great for bigger companies or companies which want to grow quick.

Powerful BI tool that allows you to analyze your own data without a lot of consultants
Against Power BI, I feel Qlik Sense is both easier to use and has much more powerful features. The script editor in Qlik Sense allows me with few lines of code to perform transformations that takes a lot of clicks in Power BI's Query Editor. The visualizations are also more easy to configure.

Qlik Sense: Measuring our impact on sustainable finance, a healthy planet and people well being.
Cognos felt too complex for the user. Tableau was slow and did not have a CSR programme. Hyperion is great but more for finance. Microsoft not as developed and rich in features. Qlikview as much as Qlik Sense felt well developed, rich in features and relatively easy to use for data architect and business user alike. Last not least, Qlik like Microsoft do support non-profit organisations.

Great Product, Insignificant Deficiencies
Microsoft Power BI. From what I have done with Power BI, I like it and it is on par with Qlik Sense. I continue to monitor these two software packages to make sure that our organization does not fall behind. So far, they continue to advance equally.

A the moment, I have a personal preference to QlikView. This is probably due to my the familiarity of the tool, the ability to customize almost anything, and the simplicity of the data modeling. Power BI is fairly simple to use, but lacks any true advantage over Qlik Sense or Qlik View. I

Qlik Sense Enterprise - Medical and Healthcare
At the time we did our evaluation, Qlik Sense beat out the other two products (Tableau and Power BI) for meeting the business requirements from our users. Qlik Sense's ease of use, extensive library of visualizations, strong community presence, and overall pricing made it our primary choice. As mentioned previously, the ability to email a report would have been an additional plus but it wasn't a must-have from a requirements perspective and there is a separate product available if that is a requirement.

Qlik Sense Does Make Sense
At the point of evaluation in 2016, my assessment is that both Power BI and Tableau still have high dependence on someone with IT, MES, and coding knowledge to create the reports. Qlik Sense's self-service report generation capability is what my Management team wants to pursue, so that data analysts can pull up required data and create the analytics and reports on their own. Qlik Sense fits just right into my Management team's direction.

Excellent analytic engine for complex data exploration
Sense has the advantage of associating all data in a data model right out of the box; when I evaluated Logi, it did not do so. However, Logi's layout and look and feel was better than Sense's. We selected Sense because we were more interested in rapid development of analytics rather than polished reports.

Be Smart! Be Quick! Hurry Up and Get Qlik!
Qlik has better drill-down analytics in almost every measure, but some of tableaus graphics, UI, and particularly Geoanalytic capabilities out of the box are superior to what I’ve seen with Qlik. That said I like will better overall, and there are plugins available that enable users to have a very similar experience as Tableaux sleekness offers out of the box.
