Qlik Sense Extensibility

Mashups allow the inclusion of Qlik Sense objects and analysis in a standard html page. Once this is done, no limits exist in terms of adding resources, improving navigation and visual appearance what is great for non technical users. However, my favorite way of extending the basic product is creating new profiles that give each users exactly the data and permission for playing with it according to their profile.

Managers who have access to the tool can review the data as it specifically relates to them and their direct reports. This allows for the segregation and confidentiality of information within the business units. The managers can drill down to share this information with their direct reports. This analysis has led to increased accuracy in our expense reports.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

We have created multiple dashboards for our clients. Qlik Sense has the the ability to create a dashboard for desktop as well as creating it on the mobile platform. So it has the capability to provide data on any platform. Most of our clients required reports on the mobile or directly in the mail. So by using Qlik Sense Nprinting Technique we have provided those reports directly by mail.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

We use Qlik Sense for the main purpose of built-in and mobile analytics reporting. We create data structures that many people can access and make reports easily and enable them to receive reports easily. At the same time, the visuality is also very important for us, the wide library of the application satisfies us in this respect.

Being able to combine specific reports onto a simple management report, this saved approx. 10hrs per month of data crunching.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

Due to some of the functionality being cloud only, we have suffered some. [For example,] a unified hub would be great to have as an on premise option. Instead we have used resources to build an in-house solution.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

I think we've only really dug into the "centrally deployed guided analytics" at the moment. It helps inform our business on KPIs. The mobile etc. has had little impact.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

Apart from a couple of power users so far we only implemented some basic self-service capabilities, but will roll out these in a more general way after frequent user requests. The Qlik Sense platform is very powerful for self-service, even on a data modelling level, and if wisely set up gives the end users the ability to perform ad hoc analysis, that so far has been impossible or highly time consuming tasks.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

The natural language and AI do not work well for our data set. We have many branches using different currencies, UOM, etc... and it seems too complex to use this part. Self-serve is not easy because of advanced scripting required. Most of our applications are used in a basic browsing/filtering way.

Qlik Sense Extensibility

Qlik is very useful for us to design reports and templates centrally and grant access selectively across the company. Very helpful in ensuring a common source of truth. There is also a relatively good ability to structure so that the user can modify the report in certain ways as well. Sometimes there is functionality lacking in making it fully customizable at a user level, though.
