Other than the price (Qualtrics is not free), it is far superior to any alternatives I have used. It has more options, looks more professional and offers data confidentiality and controls others do not.

I used to pull my hair out using IBM SPSS. The instructions were difficult to follow and the programming took forever. Since we have sued Qualtrics I have never used anything else since. If I never have to open IBM SPSS again it'll be too soon. One other thing that I forgot to say about the benefits of this platform is the ability to enter raw data from previous surveys (pre-Qualtrics) and use the Qualtrics platform to analyze the old data or compare with new survey data. This is a huge bonus since we often like to compare our regional and national surveys to previous years.

SurveyMonkey is much more affordable, but it lacks the survey flow and embedded data capability. SurveyMonkey is a good complementary tool to have alongside Qualtrics. Because Qualtrics may have an annual response quota (depending on your contract), SurveyMonkey is a cheaper alternative to handle low priority surveys and allows you to not eat up your annual response quota.

I found Qualtrics to be superior to the SurveyMonkey tool I used in a previous role. I prefer the look and feel of a Qualtrics survey and can easily identify in the surveys I am invited to take whether or not it is a Qualtrics survey or something else.

Another benefit is the level of security Qualtrics provides to safeguard your data. In an age where data security is a concern, I am comfortable with the protection Qualtrics provides. They are happy to share with you how they protect your data. When exploring other survey options, it was alarming to learn how other survey tools own your data and/or the lack of measures they take in protecting the data you collect.

Qualtrics is a solid platform. It has all of the features a market researcher would need for collecting quantitative survey data. It is meeting my needs for the projects I am working on presently. It is more robust than Cvent and on par with Vision Critical as an enterprise feedback management program.

I've tried free versions of other survey software, and nothing stacks up compared to Qualtrics. First, the UI of Qualtrics is superior to its competitors. Second, the number of question types available is outstanding. Third, I prefer how Qualtrics allows you to organize your projects.

We moved to Qualtrics from SurveyMonkey and haven't looked back. They provided so many more options than the competition and they have continued to add to their offerings. We are really pleased with the results we have obtained.

Qualtrics' flexibility was the main reason my organization switched from another competitor. In addition, the customer service is wonderful. The few times that I personally have reached out for either help or direction, I have had a response within 10 to 15 minutes. It made me feel like I had a personal consultant at my fingertips. And the experience has always been positive.

I can't even write a compare/contrast here; there's no comparison to Qualtrics. From tools to value to feeling appreciated as a customer, Qualtrics puts everyone else to shame.

Qualtrics is a better tool when you need to collaborate a survey with a team. Instead of charging a per-user fee, Qualtrics can help you set up an enterprise-wide account so that you can always share your work with anyone that needs to be involved. Qualtrics can also store all of your data securely in non-cloud data storage facilities for extra peace of mind. Qualtrics is easier to customize so that you can get exactly the right look and feel for your survey audience.

Qualtrics has been fantastic to work with and given us fairly little by way of issues. When issues do arise, they are quickly and effectively resolved. They are able to manage our heavy volume and keep up with our ad hoc needs. The various methods of surveying and the versatility within the product more than serves our needs.

I appreciate Qualtrics more than SurveyMonkey simply because Qualtrics' surveys seem more professional to me and they do not seem to bother me with requests to join by paying for system usage. SurveyMonkey on the other hand always seems to be pushing me with advertisements about using their tools or some other random advertisements to buy. After taking a survey I expect to be done answering questions, not continue to be prodded and poked.
