We are using Qualtrics to survey students at universities and colleges around the country about their reactions to coursework. The work is being done for our client, a major research institution.

It is the fastest way to build a complex questionnaire. It has the ability to support multiple languages. It works well even for offline devices. We are using this software to run most of our quantitative studies. We have shortened our cycle time by more than 50%. We are extremely pleased to be able to use this wonderful software.

We use Qualtrics to conduct national, regional, and property specific surveys related to the gaming and hospitality industries. The surveys allow our company to identify trends in the industry ahead of our competitors and provide crucial data that feeds our modeling process leading to more accurate forecasts. For our clients, the property specific surveys of their customer databases help our clients understand the preferences and habits of their customers and assist in determining what amenities to develop at their properties, ultimately leading to longer length of stay and increased property revenues.

Qualtrics is used by our office of educational assessment; strategic planning, and student, staff, and alumni satisfaction. It is used solely in our office, but the printed reports are shared across departments. Qualtrics helps our school meet our regional and federal accreditation requirements. It allows us to measure ourselves as an institutional by our strategic initiatives.

In my current department, Qualtrics is used to survey field advisors on training and event experience, analyze the responses and produce PowerPoint presentations for executives to understand the outcome. In other areas, Qualtrics is used to track attestations and to receive applications for programs. The latter is exciting for us. Instead of a human typing in data off of a faxed form, the data is loaded into the Salesforce.com, expediting the process as well as reducing the rate of error.

I have used Qualtrics in the past to reach out to both customers and prospects in order to gain a better understanding of their wants and needs for professional training. The product was used only by myself. However, I have taught market research courses where Qualtrics was the available platform. Qualtrics effectively addresses gaps in market knowledge by our marketing and product development teams.

Update: I just switched to Qualtrics as my primary platform. There certainly are some differences in the way they handle tasks compared to Cvent. However, the Qualtrics support team has been amazing during this transition.

Qualtrics is used across different schools/departments at Ithaca College for many different reasons. I am in the school of music and we use it to gather feedback on evaluations, to gather data on different issues/programs, assessments and juries, for the students to sign up for auditions (in conjunction with Sign Up Genius), just to mention a few! I am basically looking at anything we currently are using paper to gather info and move it to Qualtrics. This has helped tremendously with being able to use the data gathered and print reports. Before I was part of this department they spent many hours retyping in answers from papers that were handwritten to get into Excel or Word documents. Using Qualtrics eliminates all that time in manpower hours of retyping plus there is no guessing on the handwriting!

I currently use Qualtrics to follow up with our business partners to make sure that the service provided by my department satisfied their needs. We also ask for their thoughts on improving the process.

On the fun side, I use the Poll feature to enhance our team site and keep team members coming back as the content can change.

Qualtrics is used all over our campus. From internal to external surveying to meeting scheduling, our entire community has become used to turning to Qualtrics as the first option for every possible scenario. It's most meaningful in replacing major surveys with expensive price tags that we used to ask outsiders to do. It's saved us tens of thousands of dollars in itself there.

We use Qualtrics to design surveys across various businesses to gain feedback from Sales and Partners, to know their concerns, satisfaction and their priority areas. And results from these surveys help management make decisions and prioritize actions.

Our customer insight team uses Qualtrics for core customer surveys to measure NPS and other operational metrics across the company. Our customer insight team also uses Qualtrics for internal measurements. Qualtrics makes it easy to create, modify, send and collect surveys both via email and with offline capabilities. We have been able to analyze specific aspects of our operation with targeted ad hoc surveys being delivered in a variety of methods that fit the particular audience needed for each project. While we have not yet used their Vocalize product for visualizations, we understand great strides have been made with this product; they are always looking for ways to improve their product. The support at Qualtrics is fantastic, as well - always responsive, always helpful.
