Could not find Forms.com. Simpler to build and deploy. Better forms designer. Handles more common business scenarios.

Salesforce is too rigid and inflexible. It requires too much technical knowledge for citizen builders.

We've tried many CRMs in the past, but the one-size-fits-all just didn't work for our business model. We looked at Zoho Creator but it wasn't as versatile in what fields you can create, how you create relationships, reporting, or user roles/management. Infusionsoft CRM had many automation features, but it still had cookie-cutter limitations on how the databases were set up. Once we tried Quick Base, we never looked back.

QuickBase provides the following: safety and availability, cost-effective business model, no hosting requirements for the applications, continued and quick support from the customer support, and easy retrieval of information.

Quickbase provided different apps already ready to use.

None of these were interactive across multiple teams and were not easy to use.

MS SharePoint isn't as intuitive as Quickbase however it is similarly powerful and flexible. It's reporting capabilities are not as robust as Quickbase but for certain applications, it is equally suitable.

QuickBase allows for rapid application development but you're left with out of the box functionality, sometimes making it difficult to customize applications to the level we'd prefer. We use QuickBase in certain instances when applications need timely and frequent updates. Overall QuickBase provides us with great benefit given its speed and flexibility.

Prior to Quickbase, we utilized mostly internal tracking via spreadsheets and such. This is definitely a much better system as there is much less duplication in efforts or creation of tracking materials.

We have not evaluated other products. QuickBase came to our company via an acquisition where it was used as a CRM solution. Over the years, we have added many other use cases and since the product continues to meet our needs we have not conducted a search for a replacement product.

Access can't handle the volume and is too unstable for large databases.

They are great programs, though they are clunky in user experience and development. They require teams to upgrade, expand, or change functionality. This equates to more time between ideas and users using the end product. Quickbase can do everything these systems can do but has a great easy to use user interface and a very quick development process to get new use cases out to end users faster.

Quickbase was the most modular and could be custom tailored above and beyond simple service/support apps and web docs applications

Before using quickbase we primarily used Microsoft Access databases for our quick turn around projects, and QuickBase's secure web based platform resolved a lot of our access on our corporate server issues.

I heard that Zoho Project offers something similar to what Quick Base provides. We have not used other products like Quick Base, and I didn't participate in the evaluation of the alternatives, so I am not sure how Quick Base stacks up against them

While Jira is a powerful and useful tool, we found that Quick Base offered more customization, simple to use interface, and a better pricing model. At the end of the day, the decision was a good one, as our output increased after making the switch from Atlassian JIRA Align to Quick Base.

Quick Base is a more complete solution in my opinion, but I was not involved in the decision to select it.

Quick Base is the easiest to learn and use, while also being the most capable.

Quick Base is a live database that is updated as users input data into it - SharePoint was previously used and we needed to push data into our SharePoint folder in order to update the data. It presented the challenge of multiple users being able to access and modify different records at the same time.

It's a tie. Quick Base is more stable and easy to access (ironic since Microsoft Access has the word access in the name) since it's a hosted online, but the ability to integrate (especially with Microsoft products) and customize forms and reports makes development, as it pertains to our business procedures, is much easier in Access.

The only other product I have used like Quick Base would be Excel with the ability to share spreadsheets through an application like DropBox or OneDrive. Quick Base is better suited for this function as it only requires an internet connection, meaning information can be pulled up on smartphones or tablets, not just computers with Microsoft Suite. There are also fewer steps involved since once you save the Quick Base link and passwords, you simply have to access the URL and you are immediately in the application.

We had looked into several other Workflow products that were mainly just that - workflow. With Quick Base, we are able to do workflow, reporting, and really anything that we need to do without having to have several products do the work of one. It really was a no brainer once we started building.
