I have personally used Quickbase and Salesforce and am so much more impressed by Quickbase. Salesforce puts so little power in your hands, for any change you have to ask their developers and it comes with a big price tag and time lag. Quickbase is easy and nimble and you can make updates yourself!

I've used Salesforce and Sharepoint in the past. Both require IT involvement and development resulting in more hassle and slow deployments. QuickBase allowed me to develop what I want when I want.

Quickbase is very versatile and unlimited for quickly meeting [the] needs of our company. Power Automate was very behind, but I am sure they will catch up exponentially.

We switched to Airtable and there are a few drawbacks that I immediately noticed with the new application. Airtable offers far less robust report-building options. Quickbase feels like the table-building aspect of Airtable but on steroids. Airtable is much faster to edit table data with the default view, but Quickbase offers far better reporting views.

Mhelpdesk didn't allow us to create and customize exactly what we need, unlike Quichbase. I have nothing against Mhelpdesk [but] we just needed something a little more [suitable for our demands]. Our technical users were able to pick up what we designed much faster than Mhelpdesk's interface.

If we talked about the agile feature Jira is a better well-suited application for managing and that is one of the main reasons Quickbase is not the selected one for us, also we preferred to use two or more apps to handle everything in their specialized application whether to seek for one that can make it all at once.

We only tried FileMaker Pro before Quickbase, and it was quite hard to achieve what we needed. It took a few days to figure out how to create a couple relationships in FileMaker Pro, where we were able to develop almost our whole application in the same amount of time in Quickbase.

Several times companies I have worked at attempted to get rid of Quick Base and move everything to Salesforce. Each time, they were unsuccessful. Salesforce.com is not low code and not very customizable. It was meant to implement processes the way it was designed. It doesn't allow customization based on a company's processes. So how can a company be unique if they have to do business how everyone else does it?

Quickbase is a much better way for multiple users to access and input data into an application database without the worry of losing that data. It also documents who is updating information and when. It allows us to run reports that we could not run before with only Excel. We lost a lot of data in Excel and that's why we got Quickbase is to solve that issue.

Again, all the alternatives out there are specialized to basically suit one aspect of the business. There are a couple platforms out there that are similar to Quickbase but we chose Quickbase for its simple design and because it was from a trusted company like Intuit so we knew our data was safe and system uptime would be better than anyone else.

Quickbase is not as capable as HubSpot CRM, but HubSpot CRM can only do one thing while Quickbase can be so many different things. Zoho Creator doesn't have as much documentation or community as Quickbase.

We have not used or evaluated any other product. QuickBase was the first one we looked at and was the only option we considered. It was not necessary for us to look any further as everything that we were looking for was accessible to us through what QuickBase had to offer.

I have used MS Access and other database products. Quick Base is about 75% where it needs to be. I believe 3rd party integration could be done better and if I ran this company I know I could blow the socks off their sales.

Quick base were more suitable for our company needs and easy to navigate and understand and also give us access to explanatory videos on how to use the portal and give you certificates for a successful training.

At one of my previous jobs in 2008, we evaluated QuickBase and Salesforce and recommended QuickBase because it was much more functional and inexpensive than Salesforce. Over the years, both these companies have improved their offerings. Still I feel QuickBase has more features than Salesforce. Although Salesforce scored one big advantage...FISMA approval for Federal Government clients and I sincerely hope QuickBase will get there soon too. Because the Federal government deserves better.
