Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Our organization has achieved the benefit of designing and deploying multiple business applications quickly. The beauty of a platform that's so flexible is the ease of just trying an idea to see if it works without making huge investments of time and money. Several of our users started creating an app to help them think through a problem and then after a bit of tweaking made a useful application that was then rolled out for others to use.

Our company has definitely benefited from the ability to rapidly build and deploy apps for specific needs. There is some issue when people who want more control over the system can't get it due to aspects of over-simplification, but I wouldn't know how to quantify that exactly. It achieves the low-code app-builder functionality well.

In my department, Digital Solutions, we have been using the product for many years but very very slowly we are trying to extend the product in other departments. It is difficult because it is not so easy to change people's minds that use other systems. My part of the organization has seen a lot of benefits using this solution.

Being able to build, deploy, and maintain our custom business applications is a great advantage for our customers and we use it all the time. We think it often makes more sense to develop in low-code using Quick Base because it accelerates the development phase and saves our customers a lot of time because the flexibility to correct as we go allows for less planning and meetings.

When this program was implemented and rolled out to our team, we were only about 25 people servicing over 50,000 members. We were processing 250,000 claims a year and paying out $25,000,000. Not bad but when it came to reporting of trends and results, our one programmer could not keep the demand of my team. My team had limited program knowledge but I have had experience with Quick Base with my previous employer which I know I could use to improve and provide data to our customers. Were were able to take two staff members with excel experience, train them Quick Base and they were able to build reporting, a workflow manager and load contracts for tracking for our shared savings department.

Yes as we have over 100 apps and would build more if they had different models like usage instead of headcount as we have lots of users they only need access 1-2 a week so I can't afford to add 4000 users.

We have achieved this benefit with our sales rep tracking application. When I was first brought on at my company, they asked me to find and purchase a CRM for the sales team. However, after talking with the head of the sales team I realized they didn't want a CRM as it was too complex and required too much data input. A traditional CRM would have just inconvenienced the reps for no benefit. With QuickBase, the system was implemented with bare-bones requirements, only needing the rep to put in the date that the account visit had occurred and the account name. This allowed end-users to get used to the interface and application for a month or two while the requirements were extremely simple, and allowed a 2-week development and rollout timeline. Today, any activities captured in the system also require a half dozen key specific metrics that weren't even in the initial system build, and we are still maintaining a 100% utilization rate. Allowing the users to get used to a simple version of the system before scaling it in complexity has been vital to its success.

Yes and no. As long as requirements-gathering and scoping are still done, then simple apps can be spun up fast. More complex requirements require coding and UI/UX tricks to make it down the maturity path. A lot of promise in QuickBase but it feels like they stopped engineering better core features at some point in its evolution.

We are a manufacturing company that sells direct through many channels including Amazon, Newegg, our own website, Ariba Procurement, Jaggaer, and client API ordering systems. We've been able to use QuickBase to create a custom CRM that connects all these marketplaces together. If one of our customers orders via Amazon and Newegg, we're able to connect them seamlessly. We've also streamlined our manufacturing process that feeds our product data for listing to marketplaces.

We are just now beginning to tap into QuickBase's capabilities. I think in due time, I will be able to achieve what I have imagined for our company and most definitely develop something even more innovative.

Absolutely. We tried for years for IT to produce a solution for us that would link inputs and produce outputs to our existing systems. We decided to purchase Quickbase and do it on our own. Within 60 days with just 1.5 developers, we have a fully functioning tool that allowed all our teams to track and update projects. This enabled us to complete multimillion dollar projects that we could not have achieved without this tool.

  • We have achieved this goal with every application that we build and deploy. However, this is not to say there are not challenges, or that the operation of the applications are flawless.
  • The success of deploying applications will be based on the ability of the programmer.
  • So it is yes to being able to deploy an application quickly, but will it perform equal or better than a stand-alone solution, again, depends on the ability of your application builder.

We are able to create custom applications in a matter of hours and are able to make changes in seconds. It helps take pressure off of the IT organization because it allows community developers to create applications with no IT support. It allows us to administer our own custom built applications and gives us increased flexibility and customization.

We can manage the platform centrally and still allow individual people the ability to manage their own applications. We are a large organization and there are a variety of skill sets. The ability to create different roles within each application gives us the flexibility of allowing people to best support themselves at the levels they are comfortable with. We can individualize the level of access within each application to allow the application to be updated and changed in the best manner for each use case.

Yes we have. I am usually a one man show for all my clients (project manager), so being able to quickly implement new features and fixes, it has let me keep up with all my clients even when my team is tied up with other projects.

Yes we have! We can easily build a new app in a day to conquer a business problem. Adding tables, importing data and fields, setting up relationships, and building reports are quick and do not require programmers to accomplish. There is also a community exchange of "shared" apps we have taken advantage of for common applications such as project management and resource tracking.

We have achieved this benefit for a client to make building, deploying, and maintaining custom business applications faster and easier - primarily, this lets us leverage a web-first approach to automating some of their more manual processes.

Quickbase applications are incredibly easy to get started if you have a clear goal and a basic understanding of database structure. This has allowed us to build multiple applications to fit a variety of quick responses needed for business needs.
