I believe Quick Base has successfully made building, deploying, and maintaining custom applications for business faster and easier. It has allowed for users to custom build their own applications specific to their departmental needs. Individuals are able to experiment with application options and review what exactly is wanted or needed.

Yes but not to the full degree that I was hoping to achieve. The team is generally frustrated with Quick Base but sticking with it for the time being until another better solution is recommended by our IT.

Absolutely any developments that we have made in applications or advancements in process would be restricted to our local team. Now we can roll it out across the whole organization. This allows for best processes to supersede any prior methods and makes sure that everyone is held accountable. It also allows for everyone to spend less time on legacy paper processes.

QuickBase has made it easy for us to gather and enter data, while letting QuickBase churn out the reports and analysis we need, without us having to create our own custom applications. It has been extremely cost effective, and we can easily share data/analysis with other groups.

We have not but we intend to incorporate more data tables and develop management-level reporting.

When we get a request from operations to capture a new workflow within our Quick Base app we can have a prototype up and running within a week and tweaked and customized to massively reduce their time-spent overhead within a month. There's no looking back.

My clients use Quick Base and it changes the "culture" of the company. Employees come to expect that everything they need which is not on their main computer system (if they have one) or not on say QuickBooks, will be in QuickBase for ease of access.

Yes, QuickBase helped to build the functionalities faster and keeps the maintenance effort easier. With the effective implementation of workflows and reports, many Excel sheets and macros were eliminated and gave many visible benefits ranging from reduction in the maintenance and build cost, reduction in the manual efforts of managing data and reports and increased productivity.

We built a completely custom project management app for our public relations agency. It perfectly modeled our complex billing rules-based and allowed us to get all our monthly billing out the door in a single day rather than a full week. We also built a human resources app from scratch that allowed employees to view/update their information, track their PTO, submit PTO requests, and route those requests through the approval process.

Quick Base clearly served our company in quickly and at a low cost structuring data and making it easily accessible. Questions to adapt and extend functionality can easily be answered. On a regular basis we discover new opportunities to extend the usage of Quick Base and can do this in a very agile way.

We have achieved this in our estimating app. Quick Base has allowed for an easy to understand user interface and enough functionality to improve the estimating tool when needed.

Building applications that suit our specific needs is a pro for Quick Base. Everyone needs different categories of information, depending on what purpose Quick Base is serving. Quick Base enables this. It's somewhat like blogging tools where they have different components of a document available and you can drag/drop to create your custom page. They also have some templates available where you can just adopt what someone has already built.

Automated project management from start to finish.

QB has designed a custom application that we use every day. It has helped to make our company faster and leaner. It has achieved what we set out to accomplish.

Easy it is not. We have spent a considerable amount of time and money on getting where it is today. Long-term, we will benefit in cost savings from manual entries that we used to perform.

We have some internal people who've learned how to use it, and they've built helpful applications, like keeping track of what employees have been trained on what equipment.

No "business" applications per se because we are an academic institution.

Yes, like in the examples mentioned before. I wanted to be able to flag records, sort, select and build custom reports quickly. Quick Base enables that. Before Quick Base, I used File Maker Pro but since File Maker Pro was not cloud-based, Quick Base fit my needs. I also wrote, deployed and reported on Oracle employee's satisfaction survey.

In order to make a product, the project first goes to our Estimate department where they estimate the project in Quick Base based on all the materials, labor, and tools required. Ince the job is approved, they notify engineering and thery start the drawings for production. It's an efficient way to manage information and pass it thought departments.

QuickBase has allowed departments to become self-sufficient where qualified application managers can develop apps to suit the unique needs of their department without any involvement of IT resources. This frees up our small IT department to work on other development and management tasks. It lets apps go from an idea to the user's desktop in a much shorter period of time, with significantly less strain on our project management and IT Developers. We have absolutely been able to achieve what we set out to when subscribing to QuickBase.
