Nonprofit enjoy using QuickBooks Online Advanced
Before implementing into QuickBooks Online, we hired a third-party bookkeeping firm to manage our accounting and financial records, but encountered many issues, including making errors not caught by the previous accounting team. Once moved the functions in house, things have been smooth and the annual audit process and result have been great. Thanks QuickBooks Online!
- Having unlimited Class, so we can use the classes to track projects balances and transactions.
- Can allow more users to manage the same books
- Link directly to bank accounts and receive transactions records on real time.
- Don't like the new format of the reports, having to always select the classic views
- Hope the QuickBooks Online Advanced can create/improve its module for non-profit organizations, such as the financial statements layouts.

- The ability to put invoice numbers from vendors into the system to reduce the possibility of duplicate payment.
- I utilize the Transaction Pro App and find some limitation in usage.
The details we need without the limits we don't
- Unlimited classes allows for detailed tracking as our organization continues to grow.
- More available users allow more employees to pull their own reporting, reducing bottlenecks in our workflow.
- Custom fields add great detail but we'd love to see them available at the line item level, rather than just transaction level.
- We had to purchase a third-party app to import bills so we'd love to see this feature integrated in the future.
It was a breezy easy transition from QB Desktop to QB Online!

- We are utilizing categories for better sales reporting.
- The reporting (even with Fathom) is not as robust as I need so I bought a 3rd party software (Finjinni). QB's desktop had the same issue so I used QQube on QBs desktop.
- I bought Transaction Import Pro to help with importing vendor invoices and bank deposit details (receive payments from customers).
