Reviews
(76-100 of 158)Continuing to raise monthly fees
- Enabled us to generate client billing.
- Merchant account integration with billing has been helpful.
- Allows me to streamline quarterly billing by pushing through automatic sales receipts. This was done in a manual process prior to our company using QB. This probably saves 2-3 hours per quarter.
- Uploading statements for my bookkeeper through QB enables me to securely share information. Prior to QB, I would email by bookkeeper with password protected documents. This saves me an hour a month.
Slowing Down with QuickBooks Online
- More efficient for small firms with everyone on the same QBO file. No more transferring QB files back and forth with the potential of data corruption issues.
- Less efficient with larger more complex firms, spend more time on the phone trying to integrate their add-ons, payroll and other systems.
- Intuit's 99.95% uptime casued some negative events in the past year. Problems occurred during the peak of tax season.
Automatic Accounting!
- Makes accounting and tracking a 1 person job.
- Cuts reporting time down to minutes.
Every small business should use QuickBooks Online!
- Better tracking of expenses.
- Better tracking of profit.
A truly quicker alternative to manual bookkeeping
- Sped up my bookkeeping process.
- Improved accuracy - Gives any authorized user instant access to the most recent data.
- As an online retailer and distributor of imported goods, QBO does not help me drill down to work out my profitability across different channels. For this, I end up back in Excel.
- QBO is a cost effective solution to basic double entry book keeping.
Quickbooks Online to satisfy your personal finance needs boost the growth of your small business!
- Cloud based service makes working from home or on the road super easy.
- There's an app for your phone.
- Customer service is a little lacking.
QuickBooks Online Makes Invoicing So Easy!
- QuickBooks helps us to make sure we always get paid. We can send reminder emails based on due dates or based on overdue balances.
- QuickBooks Online allows me to be anywhere when I need to send monthly invoices.
- I greatly wish QuickBooks had more APIs, but I understand the importance of privacy so I'm not too bothered by it.
Quickbooks Online - Simple Start is simple to use
- Quick Invoices - The less time I spend billing, the more time I can spend helping my customers.
- Expense tracking has helped me identify products that weren't profitable.
- One of the biggest impacts of adding Quickbooks Online to our team is time. It's saved so much time in keeping up with billing, payroll, taxes, and contractors that it's like having an accountant on the team without hiring one.
- The cost. I normally would balk at monthly subscriptions, but compared to paying an accountant to keep up with the day to day processes, the cost to automate payroll and pay for the software is minimal and totally worth it. Huge positive.
- There are times in which I find myself wishing I knew more, but feeling like I know enough to keep things moving in the right direction. This is one minor negative concern because as it seems a little too easy I worry we may not catch some accounting errors b/c we assume the software is correct in its calculations or information.
- QuickBooks is a reliable well-known platform for small businesses. People trust the brand and therefore increases are opportunities.
- There is a stigma from "older generations" that the cloud-based software (QBO) is not as secure as desktop.
- Pricing per month is always a more attractive option than an annual cost.
A Quick Review for QuickBooks
- Positive ROI
- Positive streamlining expense tracking.
- Easy estimates.
Feature Rich but a Little Sluggish
- QuickBooks Online has generated a great return for us by letting us keep our finger on the pulse of our books.
- For the rare moments when our customers use credit cards, QuickBooks payments platform has been handy and gets us money quickly.
- The invoicing functionality makes it easy to generate invoices and attribute later payments to them.
Keep track of your money with Quickbooks Online
- Cost reduction to employ an outside accountant as the monthly fee is lower.
- More time available for other things as the financials will take less time to complete.
- Greater insight into profit and loss of the company.
A Mid-sized Architecture firm thinks it's just fine.
- It's universal in that if I hire a different accountant, they'll be able to pick it up and use it, since a lot of people know how it works.
- The reports are the fastest and most user-friendly to get information.
- I haven't been able to translate it for unconventional businesses, though. For this business, with invoicing, like bills in and out, it's fine, but as an artist, I haven't been able to figure out what to do with this program, so I haven't used it and it's too expensive for me.
- Because it doesn't speak to our Time management architecture software, as Quickbooks desktop does, we've had to do double entry work.
Keeps things easy and up to date
- Quickbooks online was able to provide services that we were paying separate companies to manage all in one place.
- We didn't even use all the features we could have and it was very worthwhile.
- QuickBooks online is an expense that I feel is balanced out by the time it saves when gathering your profit and loss reports for your annual self assessments
- For those that hate the idea of excel spreadsheets, Quickbooks literally removes that frustration once you've set up and integrated all the tools you feel would benefit your business.
- For the price, I would expect fewer errors especially with the constant disconnection with my bank accounts. I recommend just keeping an eye and check-in to make sure everything is still connected and doing what it should be doing via the app.
- Quick time-efficient response to accounting inquiries.
- Audit log to track client actions.
- Straightforward representation of financials.
- It has been nice to have a centralized location that can be accessed anywhere. Especially the feature to send invoices from my phone has been useful.
- The reports are basic, but exactly what a new business starting out needs.
- As the company has grown it has really become an integral part of our business. It's a very robust program, we use it as a daily tool for bookkeeping and A/P.
- We haven't used all the features of QBO, and it does take a good amount of learning/trial & error to get up to speed. I would recommend using a QuickBooks certified consultant if you need the training.
- Overall QBO has really helped organize our small business.
Not customizable enough. Desktop QB is much better.
- I wish had never switched to QBO. The desktop version was much better suited for our business.
QuickBooks Online is a Suitable Accounting Software
- Given us an easy way to manage and keep track of our money
- Helped us know what smart expenses we could make and what we can afford to spend on
- Given us clear objectives and paths to growing financially
- Implementing QB saved us lots of money that would have otherwise went to an accountant for tax prep. QB does a lot of the work for us, saving time with the accountant, prep for accountant meetings, and lots of time and money to prepare a return
- This saved us time and money on checks, envelopes, stamps and LATE FEES!
- Record keeping and reporting are 2 invaluable features QB Online does really well.
QBO is #1... for now.
- It has helped us streamline our billing and accounting practices.
- It saves us an incredible amount of time processing bills, expenses, payroll, and monthly reconciliation.
