- In my opinion, Intuit has wasted about half of my billable time due to the problems we've had
- In my opinion, I have wasted many hours trying to get support from useless personnel
- In my experience, I wasted many hours trying to find a transaction that the program did not enter into the audit logs. Then wasted more hours arguing with useless support staff, telling me, "that is an accounting error."
- Some of the most basic accounting reports can only be generated by creating a "Custom Report."
Essential online accounting system for UK businesses
- Initial learning time is half a day.
- Time saved for invoices.
- Time saves for estimates.
- Financial dashboard is very useful.
Two Strikes for QBO in 2 Small Businesses
- QBO does the basics for both businesses but from my experience, with immense frustration and extra work, especially for its lack of integration with Square for my daughter's spa business.
Atrocious Customer Service
- Negative thus far, I've wasted way too much time trying to talk to customer service reps and getting no where

- Until recently it has been great, however I have just spent $1000 and much unreimbursed time probably worth another $1000 to fix mistakes so my return on investment right now is poor

- QBO calculated tax incorrectly for 2 months and cost us $$
- QBO does reduce bookkeeping labour time when it's working correctly
Always room for improvement
- We can track client costs accurately and access immediately, which is how we survive
- Love the bank attachement and always knowing where I stand
- Bill pay was a problem and we will probably never use again
- It helps me stay on budget within each different program
- It has made it easy to provide necessary reports to funders
- It helps me break down expenses for each program
- It enables the Auditor and Accountant to sign into the program
Don't do it. Just don't.

- Sends email reminders of tasks due

- Simple steps for payroll
- All negative. It take more time to use than doing it by hand.
- Negative: I have to pay $279 per year and personally pay for all ACH service fees, when I could do it faster by hand and mail.
- Chat help is terrible. I am now on my third chat person while typing this review.

Quickbooks Direct pay took over $16,000 and we have not been able to get it back for 3 months.
- They have over $16,000 of our money through direct pay that we cannot get back
QBO price increases are out of control (>12% per year)
- Price increases outweigh feature improvements
- Much easier to manage than physical installations of the software
- Completely removed the need for a server-based PC to host our older versions that were installed on specific computers

QuickBooks Online Review
- It has created a lot of cost and in-efficiency whenever we need to talk to support.
- I spent a lot of time setting up their automatic reminders for past due invoices and it worked for a couple of months and then it stopped. It's currently being worked on by their tech team but it has been months and it is still not working. It would have saved me a lot of time.
- Their multi-currency saves time in sending invoices abroad but it's limiting when a customer wants an invoice in USD instead of a foreign currency so I have to set up different customer accounts for different currencies.
