In my experience, most representatives keep me on the phone for hours, literally, for a single issue and then usually cannot resolve it satisfactorily. I have 10 open cases that need resolution and, in my experience, there has been NO follow-up communication on any of them.

My issue with bill pay was tramatic. I was on the phone for over 10 hours dealing with this. All the QB reps where receptive and helpful BUT, the problem was beyond most of their knowlegde. I was passed around a lot and even when they promised to fix the issue they could not and didnt realize this. I had to go through Melio, who are not responsive and terrible with customers. Since QB hired them, I only have QB to blame. Prior to this issue, I would have given a 10

I deal with a lot of different companies for my business. I can think of very few, if any, that have provided worse customer service or greater frustration than I've experienced during my attempt to switch over to Quickbooks Online. It has been a comedy of errors, and every time something new comes to light, they find new ways to waste my time, add to my workload, and increase my stress levels.

I have had great customer service the two times that I have called QuickBooks. I didn't have to sit on hold for a long period of time. I was able to tell them the issue, and they were able to resolve it in a timely fashion and it was the right answer, instead of having to call back due to receiving inaccurate information.

BEWARE!! If you use Quickbooks bill pay service, Intuit and the service provider Melio will take your money out of your account and put it in their account at Silicon Valley Bank and you may not get it back ever. My story, I paid a vendor with a check for over $16,000, supposedly the check was stolen and deposited into Chase bank. I tried for 3 months now to get Intuit or Melio to tell me where our funds are, show me an affidavit they filed, anything. Myself and our CFO have over 25 calls into each and over 10 emails, even threating to come to NY to get it straight with the owners. They do not answer the phone at Melio, maybe 1 in 26 times calling and they will not let you talk to anyone in their operations or other divisions. The customer service agents are just shields for their company. I called Intuit(whose name is on the check along with their phone number) one day and got a guy named Bright who told me that he had our $16k right there and he would process a refund to us and we never got it. Now Intuit says they don't know where the money is. If you don't understand that the money leaves your bank and goes into Intuit and Melio. Quickbooks staff does not even know how to describe what happens when you ask them.

I think, with very large companies, it can be difficult to get a direct answer to your software question. Oftentimes, solutions have to be researched by reading through forums. But, that being said, the times I have reached out directly for assistance, I was able to eventually get an answer to my question.

QuickBooks Online support is timely in their responses and generally helpful, but there are occasions where, given the limitations of the platform, they often can't help with a solution and just give the pad answer of "we'll send that feature request to our development team." I also wish there was a live, in app chat feature when I needed especially timely help.
