Redwood is so flexible, we can monitor all business process automation jobs from different system. Scheduling also very easy jobs can run in parallel and we can set limit also. The updated dashboard is useful when any jobs are skipped from schedules. The custom calendar feature helps us to run jobs only when we need that.

HI We use the Redwood Workload Automation in your organization for scheduling the SAP background jobs. Generally we can use the scheduling background jobs with sap application. But in SAP application level we don't have more options when compared with redwood automation. By using redwood automation tools we can keep many conditions like weekly, hourly, events , monthly.

Hi, We use redwood workload automation for scheduling jobs and for automatic alerts generation in case of long running and failed jobs. It provides easy access of managing jobs and controlling the flow of automation. Alerts generated keeps us up to date of the long running jobs as well as failed jobs. Configuring the jobs is easy and scheduling them through redwood makes it very effective for 24hours monitoring. The Redwood Support team is very helpful and gives prompt response and faster resolution when needed.
In the Redwood tool we can triggered out jobs as per the business/client requirements. The main thing of this tools is very user-friendly because there is no coding and scripting need to be written. We can easily perform all the things which is predefined in this tool.
There is a pre-defined tab like alerting, application, environment, promotion and configuration.
In Redwood workload automation there is 5 most used action which is commonly used New, Edit, Delete, Export and refresh.
We can easily connect Redwood Workload Automation to SAP ABAP, Java, Oracle Application and People soft.

Automation at its best!
It's a great scheduling tool that is easy to understand and operate. The structural diagram of the complex workflows really looks clear when we see the overall picture in Redwood . We can control a complex workflow with simple events, which makes life easier. It's excellent automation I would recommend it for any business. Also, hats off to the Redwood team, and whenever there is an issue, the Redwood team tries their best to resolve the issue for their customers.
By using the Redwood Business Automation process it is easy and convenient way to manage and maintain schedule jobs by it's user-friendly Interface. Redwood also best fits for managing various ERP platforms workload, It also helps us to generate reports and manage all the complex workflow processes. The main advantage of Redwood is it improve efficiency, reduces the errors and also increase in productivity for all SAP users. Redwood Integration is a great functionality to access the data from the database. Overall it is an amazing tool to run a job as per business requirements.

Powerful, Smart choice for Automation!
Redwood is an automation tool that has some superb cool features like the Run my job feature that helps us in automating the job, scheduling, and event-driven processes. It also does help in managing files, data transfer, and orchestrates across the application and other tools such as RPA(Robotic Process and Automation. The load balancing through nodes can restrict the number of jobs running simultaneously by entering the execution size limit in ECC queue.
Scheduling jobs on Redwood is quite easy and user friendly, triggers jobs as per business requirements, the best tool ,good experience. It does have a good memory drive of the entire application which makes it easy to use. There are a few drawbacks, there are no Excel export options like other software where it makes easy to tally and keep track.

Redwood Workload Automation includes documentation for every single thing, including job definitions, reports, monitoring dashboards, etc. Redwood Workload Automation has less coding and scripting, and it performs and delivers business more quickly. can retrieve supporting files for every job that was killed or failed, finished, or scheduled. It aids in identifying the project's primary cause and asking the Redwood Workload Automation support team for help. To meet business demands, the content file can be uploaded to produce new documents. The majority of third-party systems can be connected with Redwood Workload Automation. It connects to the PI system, the bods system, the marc spectrum system, etc. in our use case. Redwood Workload Automation becomes the primary location for the workflow and data flow from several platforms. Using SAP Batch job definitions, Redwood Workload Automation jobs are imported straight from the SAP system. Redwood Workload Automation servers can be connected to Oracle DB, PeopleSoft, and other databases in addition to SAP ECC. The best functionalities are found in Redwood Workload Automation servers, which include chains, events, time windows, submit frames, and other features that reduce daily effort.

The current page and the status of the work can both be refreshed automatically by setting a timer in Redwood. Redwood users' lives are made easier by the ability to add as many queues as they like to separate the connections between various objects, such as our HCM queue, GTG queue, CRM queues, etc. Editing a scheduled task is simple, but you should use caution when choosing whether to update a recurring task or the current process. Every month, we can download any report of our choosing and get failed job reports through xml files for Jsox audit purposes.

Redwood software is supported in almost all web browsers, unlike other software that doesn't support it. when it comes to pros and cons.. Redwood software doesn't have much of cons but mentioning about my recent experience where i felt bit difficult to submit a job definition REST_POST_servicenowcreateincident in chains and using Snow URL to check if there are any error/failed jobs and then raise incident in Service now management. Scripting was neatly written inside the job definition which helped me a lot.

RunMyJobs is being used across all of IT to provide a centralized point of processing, monitoring, and alerting for our business processes running on Windows Servers, AS/400 (iSeries), and Linux platforms, as well as direct JDBC connections to databases. Before implementation, processes were scheduled in various independent areas, such as windows task scheduler, with no alerting and no visibility for an operations team to monitor. In addition, before RMJ, cross-platform processes just had to be scheduled in good faith that prerequisites finished on time and successfully. RMJ solves that issue as well.

Redwood Business Process Automation is the key [tool] almost all the jobs were scheduled through it, its very ease and [time-saving] process to automate and to get alert in case of any job failure. We can also configure to receive long running job alerts. Dependency job can be triggered by setting wait event, and we have the option to schedule a job in a particular time frame and after a particular dependent job[,] all the complex process can be executed from redwood be following few easy steps.

We are using Redwood Business Process Automation across the entire company. It's only being used and administrated from our SAP Basis department, but from here - we are handling about 100.000 SAP Batch executions per day, touching every single area of a retail company, from regular housekeeping, stock replenishment, order management[,] etc. On top of that, we are also using it to run Windows CMD script, and triggering various events on Business Objects. The biggest benefit [...] is the complexity you are able to provide - which we have found no other tool that can do.
We started down the Redwood RunMyJobs path to solve some fundamental issues including intelligent job scheduling, automated daylight saving time adjustment, and greater visibility into the performance of the scheduled jobs. The primary focus was to automate the jobs inside of the ERP system, but we quickly realized the capabilities to work inside of data extract jobs and SQL. The job owners now have access to stop, start, and pause the jobs they are responsible for and it has moved the administration from a single resource into empowering the base.

We use Redwood to handle all of our batch scheduling need[s] across several environmental landscapes. We are a global company and virtually every SAP job that we run, runs through Redwood - as well as a multitude of file transfers to and from vendors as well as to and from internal users. Using Redwood gives us a centralized location to do all this without having to have several different scheduling tools. It also means that we don't have to have several teams to manage the scheduling, which results in not only cost savings made from eliminating the old antiquated software, but also the savings that come from streamlining your organization once the old software has been removed.

We use RunMyJobs to choreograph multiple back-end applications in order to provide streamlined end-to-end processes running 'round the clock. It is quite capable of handling SAP along with our multiple middleware applications.
I'm more of a user than an administrator, but I have worked with our admins during scheduling and troubleshooting and am impressed by the versatility it offers. We have job chains full of dependencies and RMJ provides all the flexibility we need.
