Renaissance Accelerated Math is a versatile tool that is used in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classrooms for intervention and individualized content creation. Teachers find the program valuable in assessing students and personalizing education, resulting in successful outcomes for both the classroom as a whole and individual students. The software helps teachers identify areas of weakness and mastery in learning objectives, allowing for immediate re-teaching and more effective strategies. Its flexibility enables the creation of individualized math problems and group assignments, catering to students' ability levels.

Students appreciate the immediate feedback provided by Renaissance Accelerated Math, finding it helpful for review and interventions. The program is utilized school-wide to some extent, offering practice, differentiation, and data-driven instruction. District-wide implementation allows for understanding of standards and growth monitoring through quarterly STAR tests. Within the program, teachers can provide additional practice for students with weaknesses while challenging those who show advanced skills. The satisfaction level with Accelerated Math is high, as evidenced by students performing above average in math on state tests and day-to-day work.

At various grade levels, Renaissance Accelerated Math is used to differentiate math instruction through small/large group instruction and topic-based differentiation. Teachers utilize the program to identify areas of math weakness and create individualized math practice for each student. In elementary schools across the district, the program supplements the existing curriculum by providing enrichment for quick learners and remediation for struggling students. It also aids in grouping students, tracking growth, and predicting performance on state tests.

Although available in all classrooms, not all teachers may choose to use Renaissance Accelerated Math. However, those who do find it beneficial because it allows them to control content and practice amount, providing a spiral review of math skills throughout the year. Additionally, the program offers valuable data that guides instruction and aids in the construction of intervention groups. Overall, Renaissance Accelerated Math proves to be a valuable asset in promoting personalized education and improving math outcomes for students.

Accelerated Math is based on the ease of printing worksheets. In the past, that is what was done due to less technology. Now with most schools having access to technology, Accelerated Math seems old and outdated to students who are used to flashy graphics. Accelerated Math is great for assigning individual practice and targeting specific standards for any grade level.

I have used this program for the past 11 years with my students as a means to offer a spiral review throughout the year and allow them to increase their overall understanding of various concepts. I also use the program as an intervention tool for those who struggle, as well as an enrichment tool for those who are ready to move forward and be challenged.

Great for reinforcing skills currently being taught and previously taught. I also like that I can challenge higher level students by giving them a library above their grade level and I can also help struggling students by giving them a library lower than the majority. I also like that when students master a skill that they still see it through reviews. This allows them to continue working on a skill instead of learning and forgetting it.

Accelerated Math is well suited for classrooms with students at multiple stages of mastery with different standards. It is also a great tool to be used in a special education resource classroom that provides instruction for students from multiple grades at the same time. I appreciate the ease of being able to contact customer service and receive quick responses.

Renaissance Accelerated Math is an excellent tool for practicing and reinforcing previously learned math skills. It is also a wonderful tool for assessing student growth and content weaknesses. It works well in a classroom that has access to technology and time to implement every day.

It's great for practice but not as good as other programs with lessons that support students when they get into trouble. I'd prefer a video to pop up for students to review when they bomb a particular practice. I'd like them to watch the video and then do the lesson again. After that, if they need help they should come to me. That is one thing I like better about Moby Math. I also like Moby better at identifying and providing missing skills that are below grade level. With Renaissance Accelerated Math, I have to separate students into a variety of banks. That is time-consuming and may not specifically target all the skills that a student needs or does not require.

I have had moments of needing work that focused on certain standards. I am able to print out work from my printer in my room. The variety of questions per standard need to have more rigor. I would like to see printing that could include more on a page yet big enough for them to work them out on the paper.

Accelerated Math is great at all levels! It is a great way to start even kinder students in taking responsibility for their math learning. I have seen K students doing math well above the norm because teachers used Accelerated Math. If a teacher has a negative impression of the program, it rarely succeeds, so buy-in is critical! A teacher has to allow a little 'noise' in order for students to become independent learners.
