  • Blocking 99% of spam robocallers! Finally we have ended all spam robocalls by requiring inbound callers dial an extension or press 5 to speak to an operator, then dropping the call after several seconds if no input is given.
  • Voice Prompts to answer basic questions about the business to reduce overall call volume.
  • Redirecting the system outside the software when less technologically-inclined users cannot or will not learn how to use the software. For certain users in the past I have simply redirected all inbound calls to both their physical VOIP handset extension directly and their personal mobile phone number concurrently so they can still easily answer calls while outside the office.

  • Using SendGrid to send out mass-emails with attachments to RingCentral to send faxes to customers. It is much simpler than connecting to their API and having a whole program to handle that. We just wrote a very simple program to send emails and it works flawlessly.

  • Managing voicemails for call queues has become a breeze! We just created a shared mailbox in our email system and directed all voicemails for the team into that team email inbox and allow the teams of users to manage them and pull out the ones that pertain to their position. This has helped our managers have more insight into what's happening with the team mailbox and giving the end users more autonomy to manage their voicemails from the queue themselves.
