We use it to house our employee engagement, payroll, and benefits.

Reports take while to create.
Payroll is alot of manual data entry.

There is no option to rehire an employee.

Rippling has been incredibly easy to use as an employee. It's very helpful to know there is one place I can go to find all of my necessary documents – from benefits to vacation requests. It also keeps all of my employment contracts handy. I use Rippling primarily for payroll, benefits & learning management for myself and my team. I have used a number of different workplace management systems and have by far found Rippling to be the most efficient, user-friendly, one that I have worked with. Additionally, the user interface is simple and crisp, the workflows are intuitive & customizable and there is a very comprehensive set of service offerings making Rippling a great "one-stop shop" for HR-related needs.

  • Sometimes, it's a bit confusing about what features are available to me in the "Admin" account vs. the "Employee" account.
  • Not sure if this is an available feature but if not, enable dotted line relationships to be illustrated in Org charts.

A few scenarios where I think Rippling is well suited: For companies that have team members that are distributed in different geographic regions, For companies that have a really lean Human Resources team where efficiency matters even more, For companies that are looking for a comprehensive "one-stop-shop" for Human Resources related services.

For an a user to navigate so many applications can be confusing and time consuming. Rippling has many applications that is centralized making it easy to access new information, historic information, provide information, and request information. If I need an employee verification letter or a medical group number, Rippling makes it easy to request and have within minutes.

I traveled 25% for business. For those last minute business trip, I might forget to bring some medical information. Rippling has all the information. I can travel with ease knowing that I can access it any time for any emergency. In addition, all employee are readily available thru a email, text, or call thru the mobile app. If I am a customer site, I can text a question using the mobile app so I can answer a question or two. Every helpful.

Onboarding and benefits elections are a breeze with Rippling! With so many people working remotely nowadays, it's nice to have an online tool for these items that keeps information safe and secure.

We use Rippling for most of our HR processes. The move to Rippling solved HR, Managers, and Employees having to log in to different tools or having to "double enter" in different systems. It is also very user-friendly so little education and training was needed when we made the move 3 years ago. Payroll is a breeze compared to other systems we used in the past. Rippling also sends reminders and prompts when action needs to be taken, giving piece of mind for some compliance issues.

Rippling is by far the easiest and most user friendly benefits / payroll software I have ever used. In comparison to some of the other options they truly make it easy to manage your benefits and update them when Open Enrollment comes around. Overall fantastic experience. Keeps all of our companies payroll in one easy to manage place since we are fully remote.

Being able to have everything you need in one place when it comes to managing your employees/ your own benefits is so important. The ability to be able to pull reports is key to our company. The ease of clocking in and out is very simplified. The fact there is an app for employees to log in makes this generation more engaged with managing their time and benefits.

We use Rippling for all of our employee and operations management - It is the core of the business. Beginning with employee management, payroll, and benefits is a good start for a small (15 employee) company. As we grow and have larger problems to solve, we see clearly how we would like to expand this bedrock of employee management into recruiting, onboarding, off-boarding, expense management, and document management. However, we appreciate that we do not have to use or pay for those modules yet.

One small point that has set the entire Rippling experience apart from competitors (Gusto) is the simplicity of the UI. Keeping the UI simple & readable when an employee is solving one task at a time or an admin has one urgent task to attend to is difficult for how many features Rippling has. Big tip of the hat to the Rippling team for keeping the UX disciplined and usable rather than flashing or confusing.

  • As we grow, the pricing of additional modules looks like it will grow quickly. Keeping this low would encourage us to lean into more use cases faster.

  • Expense management could be more automated - Automatically creating filters on approved or unapproved expenses rather than post-hoc review.
Rippling is a powerful solution for team management. Focusing on the basics - employee management, payroll, benefits, - is fantastic. The equity management app with Carta is also helpful and easy.

We still have more to learn about adding more complex modules like document management, device management, Mainstreet tax credit integration, and others. Simpler, more powerful 'so what?' demos and examples of what those integrations get us would help motivate us to add more faster. It is hard to tell which integrations are magic and powerful and which are boring.

Rippling is primarily used within our organization to facilitate essential employee-Human Resources administration such as benefits management, payroll, and time off requests. Communication and information distribution for these areas is handled through the application. Yearly open enrollment is facilitated within the Rippling workflow, and employees are able to access benefits summary documents and the options are laid out in a clear way to help compare which plans are the best personal fit. Employees can view payroll history and control Direct Deposit, as well as access relevant documents stored such as W2s and Pay stubs. Time off requests are submitted through Rippling and approved through Rippling's workflow.

Rippling is used for employee management and payroll coordination, we pay through another software but at the moment we align our comp and benefits through the app.

It's used as a centric place for storing information, and from the IT end we currently use it to handle the 2FA for Rippling and the resetting of it, along with automated termination workflows that disable accounts once the user is terminated.

Rippling is very user friendly in my career field i use it to easily clock in and out as well as go on breaks within minutes. In the Rippling app i also use it to request time off, view pto hours, as well as manage health benefits all in one single app which is available for apple and android users.

I Like that I am easily able to clock in and out via the phone app. During busy times I leave the property forgetting to clock out but if i am still in the area it allows me to clock out instead of having to do a complete turnaround back to the job site.

Rippling is amazing for signing up for health benefits and using as an onboarding tool as well as an everyday log in/ time card. It has been easy using Ripling vs other methods of onboarding, time clocks and signing up for insurance. I love that it is all in one place, instead of spread to three different applications. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the business world!

We use rippling to manage payroll and to have access to a variety of vendors. It streamlines our purchasing by having a variety of different vendors available on rpass. I also like the ease in getting to see the breakdown of my paycheck as well as ease in getting my W2.

As part of the purchasing department using rpass as a google chrome extension is necessary. I feel it is a safe way to house our passwords and allows us to easily share with others in the company. I think it is great for a smaller company but may be less suited for a company that is large.

My company uses Rippling to clock in and out, enroll in benefits, and payroll information.
  • Makes it easy to log in and out and keep track of my time
  • It is easy to see my vacation/ sick time and request time off
  • It is easy to access my paycheck info
  • One of the most confusing things is trying to request a change on the timecard if there was an error. There is not a clearcut way to go from step to step. I usually have to click on the wrong area a couple times before getting it done.
Overall, Rippling is easy to use and understand.

  • Adding hours worked could be easier. Currently you cannot just input a number and must use a timecard format.
Rippling is great for salaried employees who are also using the platform to manage benefits. It's a little more cumbersome for hourly employees who need to enter their hours worked each week as the format for doing so could be easier. That being said, I think it's still a great platform for both situations once you get used to it.

i use Rippling to go over benefits, payroll, time off, and reports. insurance can be difficult to get employees to be comfortable with and Rippling makes the process smooth and feels very secure. being able to see our paystubs online is also very important and very good for the plant

i really enjoy the work flow for signing up for health, vision, dental, life, accident, and serious illness types of health insurances and the different plans laid out right in front with comparisons and easily downloadable PDFs for more information. Rippling makes it simple, easy, and comforting when being asked such serious life questions.

We use Rippling to manage PTO, health benefits, employee growth plans, and messaging the team. Rippling makes it easy to request time off to see the PTO you have accrued as well as to message the team regarding off time. The platform also makes selecting your insurance policy through the company painless and quick.

I used Rippling for my employee onboarding, daily time sheet tracking, learning management modules, and tracking PTO. It is such an easy to use, simple, and helpful platform. It doesn't burden you with complex features and unnecessary elements. It is streamlined, intuitive, and clear. I can easily figure out where the information is that I need. I find it extremely valuable that Rippling can integrate everything I need in one place, so I don't have to go on multiple sites to get tasks done. I don't feel stressed doing HR or onboarding related tasks because the experience is so smooth.

Rippling is great for companies that want to have all their HR needs in one place. Great for employees who need to simply track timesheets, PTO, insurance, and learning modules. If employees don't want to have to be "onboarded" just to understand their HR platform, then this is a great solution. You will lessen the amount of questions you get for the HR team because employees will be able to autonomously get things done.

In my role we use Rippling as our HRIS, which allows company access of email, google business suite, Aircall, Slack, and other tech stack. We also do our employee onboarding through Rippling, and all HR related matters. In my current position, I don't use the attached ATS, but I have used it in the past to seamlessly screen, hire and send offer letters.

Excellent all around in my opinion. I have used various HRIS interfaces throughout my career, and Rippling is the most seamless and all inclusive. Rippling's automated system is even great at managing and monitoring company devices (laptops) when an employee is onboarded and they need a device, Rippling sends it out and even takes control of the device when an employee leaves and generates a shipping label and box to send the device back.

I am an end user of Rippling. My company uses it for benefits, time, Org chart, device management.

Rippling is great for small companies looking for a solution to manage employee time, benefits, etc. As an end user I am not extremely familiar with all of the pros/cons of the product, but I find the user experience to be much better than other similar platforms I've used.

Rippling is used for payroll management, benefits, insurance, and learning management.HR management is another item that people use this tool for, but I haven't had any experience with it. Rippling has enabled me to easily navigate and use the system to accomplish the intended goals for payroll specifically. LMS portion of it has been easy available as well and simple to breeze through the launching and program itself.
