Salesforce Advertising Studio (formerly Social.com) allows me to use my client's 1st party data to message their customers and look-a-likes within the customer journey. I used this across a variety of campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Mobile. The primary use case if executing different creative variants for the right message to the right user.
  • It has a large network of resources
  • Good customer service
  • Tracking pixel usage is not consistent
  • No new tailored options in a while
Overall, software is straightforward to use, and the interface is excellent. Salesforce Advertising Studio (formerly Social.com) is a tool that is quick to learn with opportunities to evolve and master. The best lean-in feature is maximizing data at scale and creating unique messages based on the consumer journey. Unfortunately, the platform takes a more broad-stroke approach. This means that to help your business, you do have to invest a significant amount of money in customization.

Social.com helps me connect with the most people possible with the least amount of work. I have engaged many more people through Social.com than I have been able to in the past.
  • Market penetration.
  • Picking markets to cater to.
  • Getting my work out into the world and getting a positive response.
  • The interface could use work but is okay once you are aclimated
  • would like to be able to integrate across all my platforms
Social.com might be better suited for a bigger company with more data to collect.
