Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

I have also used Autotask in my view there is little comparison.....SF is a more comprehensive product offering much more feature and functionality. Autotask is ok for a small business if the cost for SF is prohibitive. I believe SF has features that no other product could even come close to.

Salesforce is the 800 pound gorilla in the CRM room so let's face it, they're the gold standard. For the most part, they're the best at what they do in their corner and the only way you can beat them is by having a prettier looking product or catering your product to a particular niche that Salesforce isn't specially designed to cater to.

  • Sage Act
There are some great benefits with Salesforce however one thing that I miss with Sage Act is the option to indicate a follow up action and date with a member. Sage Act allows you to set up a date to follow up, and then run a report to see who you need to follow up with and why. I also enjoyed the option with Sage Act, where it would automatically link any email sent to any member from any of our associates within the company. Salesforce allows you to link it through Cirrus, but you have to manually link the emails, which take some time to do, and hope you don't forget.

SFDC is the top choice if you need the customization it can give you and already have a MAP. If you don't need such customization, it
still might be the best option at the basic offering.

HubSpot is a good contender if you need a CRM and MAP. It has far more constrictions than SFDC but its a good tool and some restrictions are sometimes needed or wanted. Salesfusion is in a similar position of being a CRM and MAP and has a similar restrictive structure to HubSpot compared to SFDC (but everything feels more restrictive than SFDC if you have the highest level of SFDC).

We chose Salesforce as the leader in this space as it handles all that we were looking for and was customizable enough that we could build what it did not have. Their lead only continues to grow over others with recent acquisitions and their never ending focus on expanding their platform. I drink their kool aid so not totally unbiased, but the tool delivers what we need it too and some of those requests have been highly challenging.

Salesforce.com is by far the most versatile solution in the market. There are many choices, but none of them are able to solve as many business problems in totality as Salesforce.com is. Our organization is very disciplined in the sense of governance which is absolutely necessary in order to be successful with such a flexible tool. I have owned Salesforce.com implementations from >10 up to 14,000 users, and Salesforce.com offers the same amount of value no matter whether you're running a small business or expanding an enterprise globally.

NetSuite is easy to develop but the reporting is not as sophisticated as Salesforce.com. The records aren't linked and therefore the information is stagnant. SharePoint is convenient but it is not mobile like Salesforce.com and is not nearly as robust. Infor should not even be considered a CRM. It is built on Windows 3.1. There is very little reporting capability within the application itself. Everything has to be exported into Excel. Everything is painfully slow. Response time for support is quite slow.

Our fulfillment process used to run through Microsoft SharePoint. This was not ideal for many reasons - data management, automation, and unreliable hosting by Microsoft.

I have used other database products before and they were more difficult to use than Salesforce. Salesforce is much more powerful than just a database product. We are able to track many different fields and run valuable reports. Our company has become much more efficient having implemented this product a few years ago.

  • Microsoft Dynamics,Sugar,custom Access versions,several others.
Sugar is simple, able to be implemented and adapted by a decent developer, easy to teach, fast to implement. Microsoft Dynamics is in the middle, all CRM functions, but not the workflow capabilities, need very good developer and configurator, must hire them in. SF is hugely complex, see rest of review. I would NOT implement SF or MS Dynamics in a small org, rather do Sugar or a custom other solution.

So far my experience only includes salesforce.com and SugarCRM. I definitely think salesforce is the better option because it is a lot more user friendly and customizable. I have not had any choice in which CRM software I've used, so I haven't necessarily chosen salesforce over SugarCRM, but I definitely would if I had the choice.

SalesForce is a reliable system that offers a great deal of flexibility in terms of customization and connection to other systems like marketing automation platforms. There is also a great deal of flexibility in reports. Other systems tend to make customization more difficult, and don't pay as much attention to integration partners.

Salesforce has been the only CRM tool in my career. But I love the tool and would select it 10/10. It has numerous different access points and plug-ins, and, being an admin at my old company to a salesperson at my new company, I miss the ability to go into the app store and download new plug-ins to try.

Salesforce is the better enterprise platform but you will pay for that premium. CRM systems are never done implementing as your business, sales and marketing change over time. Salesforce platform allows you to implement those changes and provides a wide integration platform.

I've used Goldmine and evaluated Microsoft CRM and Sugar. Sugar reminds me of Salesforce lite. It has many of the core CRM features but not the extensive functionality. Microsoft has great integration with Office products, so there's some workflow benefits there. Goldmine is far behind the times and doesn't enforce best practices, so it's easy to mess up business processes.
