What is Salesforce Commerce Cloud?

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) is a cloud-based eCommerce solution that touts flexibility and scalability for enterprises. It features merchandising tools, such as sorting, filtering, image zooming, and more, allowing customers to browse products with confidence and control. Commerce Cloud also provides inventory management controls, built in to the platform. Its flexibility is meant to accommodate diverse business logic models, and its web-based UI is meant to simplify management and control for less than technically savvy administrators. Visitor/shopper data are leveraged to provide intelligence, and personalize the shopping experience of individuals or segmented targets groups.

The Commerce Cloud is now part of the Salesforce Customer Success Platform, a platform for retailers to engage their customers online and in stores throughout the customer lifecycle, including marketing to community management and customer service.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud ran the global eCommerce websites at Nixon very successfully across a complex, multi-regional, multi-currency, multi-lingual environment. The people at Salesforce were always helpful at an account level. The software was certainly a beast but such is the realm of enterprise eCommerce software. It was adaptable enough for any global environment. Note that we were running the legacy architecture, not the latest SFRA architecture which has changed things for the better to my understanding.

It is easy to use; it will easily integrate with other Salesforce clouds such as sales, service, and marketing clouds. We were able to manage the end-to-end commerce, including the promo codes distribution, with the help of marketing integration. If you are already a Salesforce user, you will definitely love it.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud was utilized to collect, nurture, and close sales in our company for sponsorships. We gave it a test run and honestly it worked pretty well. Our company is not huge, less than 20 employees, so we didn't find that the tool was beneficial financially. It worked smoothly but, I think we would have preferred to have something simpler.

It provides all of the elements might need in terms of features and it's perfectly integrated with Salesforce CRM platform, making it usage complete and secure. Salesforce is being used by my site within the organization to control the stream of customers and clients that come through our organization. We are planning to roll out its use to all sites next year! It has helped direct the pipeline and streamline all of our delegated tasks. We also like how we can keep track of all customer and consumer information on the same platform as our other tasks. This is really beneficial when working from home so that we do not need a lot of tabs or browsers open to get the same job done. We had used other platforms but Salesforce is much more streamlined and efficient than others we used before. I haven't been stressed managing our inventory and orders as I had in the past.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud is being used across the whole organization globally, from my knowledge. It tracks all our accounts, deals, agreements, pipeline, and contacts. We attempted to use [Salesforce Commerce Cloud] but due to Salesforce cantankerous pricing structure and falsification of information from their salespersons, we scrapped the implementation before launch. It was originally intended to help us with online and walk-in sales from existing or potential customers. We had hoped it would address the number of steps employees needed to take to [fulfill] orders. We were looking to automate a lot of it via Commerce Cloud.

My whole company uses Salesforce in order to leverage task tracking and manage customer/client relationships. We find it very helpful to use this platform across our different departments so we can streamline what each department is doing such as the sales or marketing teams. It has been beneficial in completing projects and goals on time and we have increased our productivity in each department using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. eCommerce is a booming industry and this type of CRM helps us stay organized!

I use Salesforce often. It is a relatively intuitive piece of software and seems to be the market leader. I feel as though they could likely and probably be more responsive to client requests for products on the road map. In addition, one might think for a company as big as theirs, their servers wouldn't constantly be slowing down the UI.

Salesforce Commerce offers great analytics and reporting functions. It is a great tool to expand our overall productivity. We love using this software for tracking data and I like that it provides accurate reports so we can make better decisions based on the reports we get. It is used across most of our organizations.

It's being used by sales and marketing for the full sales cycle. We utilize lead ques, sales funnels, reporting and account management. It helps track activity on specific leads and contacts and ensures the right reps are being assigned to specific accounts in their geo or industry vertical. It allows marketing have a 360 view of leads from in-person events as well as from whitepapers, etc.

We use Salesforce Commerce Cloud on a daily basis to run our company operations. We are an IT company and our whole company runs on Salesforce. We sell cars through it and track our customers' information. Salesforce plays a major role in communicating with our team all across the United States and to effectively deliver the information to our customers. It also helps us track our calling system throughout the day to see how many calls were answered and how many customers were on a hold for a longer period of time. It generates sales results and lets us schedule events for other markets throughout in our company. It is very user-friendly and the support team is very helpful. A day cannot be imagined without Salesforce in our company.
