We create content that our new sales reps use during onboarding. We also use the Selling Through Curiosity (STC) provided material.
  • For the STC material, students can easily participate in classes at their own pace and on their own time
  • Creating material for your own teaching classes is relatively easy

With SalesHood, you can create a sales library of presentations and demos, as well as manage your sales calls and provide your sales team with guided coaching and feedback. SalesHood is a great tool for sales teams of any size and you can use it to make sure that your sales team is as productive as possible.

We would use SalesHood in my organization to help train new and current sales employees on selling our software. You can have training on here and you can also have the reps record their own demos to be reviewed by their managers and so on. It is an easy-to-use platform for all your sales training needs.

SalesHood is used by our whole organization. This helps us have training information located all in one spot in order to best sell our company product. I have learned so much through SalesHood. I am able to take quizzes and get graded on those quizzes. This helps me know where I need to improve in my role. I am also able to share snippets from my sales calls and get feedback from my manager.

SalesHood is well suited for our company. It is a great place for me to go to in order to learn more about our product. It also shows people in our organization that I am looking for ways to improve in my role, excel in my career. My director can see someone completes a training or quiz. I like knowing that when I am putting in the extra work to improve that it isn't going unnoticed.

SalesHood is being used across our Sales and Customer Success organization. It helps us get information out quickly to the teams, track completion, and get reps certified. We also use it to onboard new reps.
  • Sales-centric: the platform is literally built for salespeople and with salespeople in mind
  • Collaborative Customer Success: the SalesHood team is SO responsive and always willing to collaborate and brainstorm ideas
  • Easy to Use: They have a fantastic onboarding program to get new admins started and the platform is easy to use.
  • UI display: Huddles could stand to have a facelift. The UI layout could definitely be better looking
  • Display on File/Link modules: the description is off to the side and hard to find unless you know what you're looking for
  • Ability to add files or slides on all modules as a reference point or ability to add widgets on modules
I wouldn't recommend SalesHood to a colleague looking for a content management system. As an LMS, SalesHood is great, but the library is just OK.

SalesHood is being used with the whole Sales Team. This platform helps the whole team to get the more specific information we need. Our Sales Enablement team introduced this to us 3 years ago and helped us reduce the time in training with great productivity.

SalesHood is used across the entire organization. It started to be used for Sales. My job was to bring it to the post-sales side of the business Them we evolved to using the SalesHood for our external partners/vendors.

  • They need an access level in the user interface for "Manager".
  • Speed. There are times when the system got bogged down with users making it slow and clunky.
  • Additional focus on the 'service' side of the business in both options and vinacular
SalesHood can be used internally and externally for all things enablement. HR, Compliance, New Hire, Sales, Service, Support. It is a GREAT tool to use for training and enablement. Albeit it is not a full LMS it provides the basics needed to provide a productive training/onboarding tool where everything is tracked and accountability can be assigned to the designated management over the trainees.

SalesHood is used by our GTM team to deliver on-demand training modules that each of us is able to view on our own time and complete per instructions from the Sales Enablement team. It has always been used as an onboarding platform during virtual onboarding. It has been quite handy and intuitive.

[SalesHood] has been helpful during virtual onboarding when the team is not able to get together for in-person trainings. And the ability to test retention is helpful for the user and for management as well. However, it is one of those platforms that takes time out of what a rep does best, which is sell, so it may not be the most well received.

At Zenefits we use SalesHood as our main source of information about our products and services for our sales and marketing teams. Our management uses it to build curriculum around product knowledge and demo'ing examples. They're able to assign training tracks to us, and SalesHood automatically tracks each of our progress as we go through the materials, so we're able to self-guide our training, but leadership and peers have visibility into our progress. It's a great single point of truth for this info because it allows content and materials of all kinds to be built into it. Quizes, client-facing docs and materials, internal-only materials, videos, audio clips, etc. So it's a truly comprehensive experience.
  • Streamlines curriculum that contains multiple media types and materials, into one training track.
  • Allows you to build [quizzes] and other types of automated gatekeepers to make sure employees know the material before moving forward.
  • Automatically and very accurately tracks an individuals progress as they work through a training track.
  • Finding a specific training path that I'm looking for can be difficult via browsing. Best way is to use the search bar.
  • I wish there was a way to provide peer feedback. It might be a setting that our team just doesn't use, but it would be nice to see questions that peers have, or places they're struggling and to be able to comment or reach out directly to help.
SalesHood is great for tech-forward orgs that have everything in digital format. There would be a bit more work building this platform out from physical materials. It's great for orgs that have somewhat complex or many products/services. It might be more robust than needed for groups with simple or few products to learn. It also doesn't provide content, so it's important for the org to have proprietary resources and content to host on the platform. It's also great for orgs that have sales teams on the go. The mobile app is excellent and has nearly all the same capabilities as the desktop/laptop version.

Our Network Division uses Saleshood as a tool to update our account managers on new product releases from the manufacturers we represent. Saleshood is a tool that highlights key benefits to the team and has resources attached for making client calls with the key information.

Great for training the team. This has been the most helpful in our organization as we can train at our discretion making for better time management. We use SalesHood for the whole sales organization. It has been a great tool for us to track and manage learning as the individual line managers have visibility on the progress of their teams. We are also using it to deliver complete curriculums for onboarding and certifications. The platform is capable of much more than we are currently using it for but we will soon be utilizing it with the Sales Managers to help drive their coaching to their teams taking advantage of the social capability where teammates can share best practices, experiences, and advice.

  • Search capability could be improved; it can sometimes be difficult to find a course that was previously created without the exact name.
If you are looking to put out informational compliance information. It is super simple as you can create a huddle, provide the information add a quick knowledge quiz and sign off within minutes and launch it.
It is also good to help structure more complex learning curriculums that span weeks as it will help the learner keep track of what they need to complete and provides visibility to the manager to track progress.
I love the social component that allows the user and manager to broadly share or tag individuals to solicit feedback. This is great in remote working situations such as covid that helps bring the team together to share ideas and feedback.

It's a little clunky with the assessment tools there are many formats such as True/False, check box, short/long answer. More options would only allow for more flexibility to be creative to encourage engagement.

It would be nice to be able to enlarge or have the presentation window open on a different screen, it is a bit small and hard to read PPTs.

SalesHood is currently being used across our distributed workforce to assist us through various use cases. We start with our onboarding of New Hires by leveraging SalesHood. Then we use it to continue their education with upskill training and development. From everything from sales methodology training to product releases and refreshes, it helps us to level set the learning and understanding of those in our workforce.
  • Customer service is always responsive.
  • They pay attention to the recommendations, suggestions, and input of their customers.
  • A transcript readout of user completion would be ideal.
SalesHood isn't your conventional LMS platform, and they don't intend to be. Where they excel is by allowing on the go mobile application and learning. If you have a diverse workforce or people who want to accelerate without being tied to a computer, it's a win-win! The ability to certify and record stories is also a super plus.

SalesHood has been used by our alumni students as a reinforcement and certification tool that ensures in-person training sticks and resources such as templates are available post-course. SalesHood allows us to ensure students stay engaged with content for months ahead and are able to share best practices within the online community.
  • The SalesHood premium content is an invaluable kick-starter for enablement professionals and front line managers who need sales focused best practice content.
  • The learning paths allow enablement to easily create on-boarding and role specific experiences.
  • This doesn't affect the learning outcomes, but I would like to see an updated UX for Huddle paths to feel more contemporary from a design aesthetic.
SalesHood is a sound option for all enablement scenarios and has a clear advantage for the enablement professional or sales leader who has limited resources in terms of fresh content creation - SalesHood has hours of learning available in their premium content. The biggest issue with tools such as this is good intent and a lack of execution; they have solved this.

Our company constantly innovates and we have product releases scheduled every quarter. The challenge with this approach is how to communicate it to the team and stakeholders. SalesHood allows us to create videos to train our teams in being more aware of what the new releases and features are.
  • Create custom videos geared towards training employees.
  • Include knowledge check quizzes to measure information retention.
  • Gain visibility on how your team is doing in terms of completion of videos.
  • Sometimes SalesHood doesn't capture the completion rate properly. Some team members have completed the videos but it's now showing 100% completion.
  • SalesHood should not allow progress to the next activity if the pre-requisites training are not completed.
Saleshood is perfect for a large organization where on-demand training is a must. This benefits the company's current employees and new-hires alike. It's not applicable to a company that is smaller in size.
