SalesLoft was used by my organization to grow a prospective client list for email marketing. Some of our clients had extremely small email lists and SalesLoft was used to grow these lists with professionals who met certain criteria.
  • Integrates with LinkedIn extremely well in regards to the Chrome Plug-In- very few bugs.
  • Does a fairly good job of providing accurate email addresses for LI members whose profile is set up correctly.
  • Easily exported into email marketing host databases.
  • When LI members don't have their profiles connected to their company listing on LI, Salesloft is unable to pull their email address. Furthermore, you can't really figure out whether or not Salesloft will be successful in finding an email until after you added them to a list--hence, you loose a credit. Salesloft should help aid its users in avoiding this.
  • Unless you have a business account on LI, you are limited to the number of search results/pages that you can prospect from.
  • Wish there was a way to turn off your page viewings while using the software.
  • It can be time consuming to fine comb search results.
Decide how much time you have to give to business development. SalesLoft takes time to comb through search results and hand pick the people you would like to reach out to; therefore, the people are more likely to be conversions. However, if you don't have someone who is willing to comb through, it may not be worth investing in. Also, the type of prospects that you are looking for will also determine whether or not SaleLoft is well suited for your company. More specific target audiences would be easy to search for in SalesLoft in comparison to other software.

The renewal really depends on who the client is. SalesLoft works for some clients better than others.

Salesloft is used to pull leads from LinkedIn. The tool saves the sales team a couple of steps by not having to copy and paste names and titles from LinkedIn into a spreadsheet or GoogleDoc. The promise of the product is to find email address and corporate phone numbers as well. Hope fully speeding the entire prospecting process. The tools does speed things along, although I wish they would label the email as either found, not found, couldn't verify.

This is good for large batch pulls. But still needs room for accuracy.

  • Still required a lot of work confirming the accuracy of contact information
  • Still required a lot of clean up of lead list - Names not being completely parsed, titles being wrong, wrong companies etc.
Speeds some of the manual work required in figuring out email addresses. Other tools have proven to be more expensive.
For the money it speeds our team up.
