[SalesLoft is used] across the whole department of sales as far as I know. For being an organization with over 200 employees people that work in sales needs structure for making sure they contact the right people at the right time and [SalesLoft] offers that support. Been working in sales for 3 years and thanks to SalesLoft my management got better and now hit my targets much more.

Very appropriate when you contact C level executive as it gives you time to plan for good calls. Also very good for note taking. each time you make a call you add new information.

Not very appropriate when you have to call many people and your cadence stack on top of each other, however easily manageable by adding a certain amount of contacts.

We primarily use SalesLoft for our prospecting and lead generation (cadence based), as well as for common email reply and process items (template-based). We have the integration set up between SalesLoft and our CRM (Salesforce).

  • The bi-directional connection between Sales Loft and Salesforce seems to have a negative impact on page loading speeds for Salesforce in the Classic environment
  • It seems like there are product changes/enhancements every week, if these could be scheduled for monthly it would free up some of my time exploring new functionality prior to rolling out to my teams.
We use SalesLoft for sales development and sales process follow up. It is an obvious use case to run prospecting cadences to create interest with a potential client, we also use SalesLoft cadences to ensure we have regular touchpoints with prospects that are on a trial or are looking to book a product demonstration. We use the templates right from Gmail to respond to common questions and comments our prospects have.

The biggest use of Salesloft is for mass cadences by our account management and new business teams. It helps make prospecting and general outreach a lot easier. Especially in my position, where I manage over 40 accounts and have to stay in touch with thousands of users over the course of the year, it's helped improved my efficiency.

SalesLoft helps the sales team reach out to prospects who showed interest in our product. Once a sales team member receives a lead they pass it through a certain cadence relevant to the interest. This makes the who process automated, reduces the manual work of sending emails, texts, or calls.

We are currently using SalesLoft across the entire organization. We use it for the dialer feature to make calls easier and for cadence management, email tracking, and the analytics/reporting.
  • Cadence feature makes managing steps of prospecting easy
  • Dialer feature allows you to make phone calls much faster
  • Seeing history of calls/emails is very, very helpful
  • I would like the ability to quickly change cadence to an email/phone reminder all within the same view (combine reminders and cadences)
  • Ability to remove unsubscribe from email--it gives prospects the impression that all outreaches are mass sent, which isn't the case
Once you have prospects at companies identified, it is very helpful in cadence and outreach management. It would be better if you could paste rich graphics into a template without having to attach and insert pictures.

It is used across all business units now. It is primarily used to standardized the communication (engage with our potential and current clients) during the prospecting, conversion, and after-sales process. SalesLoft automates the work of the salespeople. When we installed Salesforce, our salespeople thought it was more work. When we installed SalesLoft they thought it was a helpful sales-enablement tool. They like the fact that they can increase velocity, save time, and automate tasks. For sales leaders, they get the insights they need to evaluate, coach, and make necessary adjustments to the workforce.

SalesLoft is being used throughout our whole organization. We use it to make calls imported from leads that are from Salesforce. I like the interface and how it is so easy to make a call to a prospect. Also if the number is not the one given or known, you are able to change it.

I have had no problems with SalesLoft compared to other phone apps. I have used other phone services at other jobs to make calls and I had to punch in every number to make a call--very time consuming and sometimes they never picked up. SalesLoft makes it easy to dial so you aren't wasting time having to dial every number in.

It is being used to date by 60 users, mostly Business Development Reps for 2 different groups, some in Europe. Primarily it was chosen for the auto dialing and call tracking with our Salesforce.com to replace Lightning Dialer. It allows auto dialing a lead or contact and tracking call with an activity auto generated.

  • Users would like the list of Sentiment values to be dependent on Disposition. This is Salesforce.com feature, the values displayed in one picklist can be dependent on what was choosen in the primary picklist.
It's pretty full featured. We are not yet using all the features but plan to. So for auto-dialing it's a 9.

PerfectServe utilizes SalesLoft within the Sales department to manage leads, contacts, and opportunities. It is primarily used within the Business Development Representative team, but the Business Specialists have started using the outbound contact features. We use it in addition to Salesforce as they integrate beautifully, and help the Marketing and Sales teams stay in the know about our prospects, clients, and opportunities. SalesLoft makes it easier to send emails, make phone calls, connect on LinkedIn, and manage cadences.

  • LinkedIn integration with SalesLoft is really neat. You can add LinkedIn reach out steps to your cadences to increase productivity.

SalesLoft is a great way to stay on top of contacts and leads to ensure they are getting contacted in the right way, at the right time. Use this tool to increase outbound contacts through drip campaigns and automated email steps within cadences. SalesLoft is my favorite tool, used throughout the company by the sales team to organize and schedule external outreach. The analytics are amazing, enabling each user to qualify and improve the effectiveness of email campaigns. SalesLoft [equals] working smarter not working harder

We use SalesLoft primarily on the business development team and starting in sales. Prior to my role now, I was a BDR and used it every day in my role to structure my cadences for outreach, make my cold calls, and track my email engagement to know what was working and what wasn't. I would highly recommend SalesLoft to anyone in a prospecting role!

It's great in a business development role or in a sales role that involves prospecting. In my opinion, the biggest advantage of using SL comes with the automated emails and the step tracker, which helps my team and I stay on top of important tasks on a day-to-day basis.

SalesLoft is used within our organization to first ensure that we are sending emails to customers on a regular cadence but also to track when customers or prospects open emails etc. The teams within the organization that use Intercom are the sales team, both SDR and AE. The business problem that SalesLoft solved is added productivity and ensuring that reps are able to maintain consistency.

We decided to start using SalesLoft more than 3 years ago, since then, our prospection life has been changed.
Before SalesLoft there was no way to automatize our prospection. The personalization was handmade all-time for all emails and we were calling our prospect with other tools. Salesloft really facilitated our life.
It allows us to create cadence like a series of actions (emails, LinkedIn, and calls) in order to reach our prospect.

With Salesloft, it is impossible to forget a prospect and the best way is that all our activities can be personalized.

As a manager, I found really useful all the analytic KPI that I can read and follow, plus, I can live-coach my team by listening to their calls.

Salesloft is being used as a tool for recording emails and calls. We also use it to set prospects up on cadences. This is being used primarily by the business development department (sales development representatives and account development representatives). The business problem it addresses is tracking daily activity and reaching out to prospects on a consistent basis.

It is used in by the sales team here at Mavenlink. I would say about 100 users or so. It streamlines and consolidates the outreach process. It allows you an area to build out and plan your outreach. It makes it easy to collaborate with other members of the sales staff as well.

Salesloft is being used by the SDR team. We use it to manage all our leads through the entire nurturing process. We run multiple step outreach cadences through SL incl. social media, emails, and calls. It is also our primary system to set tasks and reminders. It fully integrates with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Gong etc.

  • Clunky UX. After you hang up and go to enter the call details, the cursor automatically moves back to the dialer, so you end up typing in the dialer. Very frustrating
  • Sent an email blast yesterday and didn't realize until I got an unsubscribe request that some of the emails had the wrong names.
I would recommend SalesLoft to someone who needs to lightly use software for email blasts and short call cadences. It's way too clunky to rely on for long or elaborate strategies. Set-up isn't exactly easy.

  • In our 11-100 segment, we increased our MQL to opportunity by 6%, which led to a 2.5x increase in revenue. The only change was consistent follow up via cadence through automation rule.

  • Our ICs all complain about tactical things like when you paste text into an email it blows up the pictures.
