Used by the Sales Department. Helps automate sales outbound and inbound emails & cadences for prospecting and clients.
  • Cadence management: easy to create/edit/manage templates and snippets
  • Tracking email views clicks and responses
  • Tracking email history so there is no overlap in contacting the same person by multiple people on our teams
Cons
  • A functionality we don't have access to is taking someone off the cadence when they have booked a meeting through the link but are not responding to the email sent directly. I think this is a function for admin only but it would be good to have it included for anyone using the tool.
Great for sales and account management inbound and outbound to manage emails to prospects and clients.

The sales department at my company uses it to record my daily calls, engage current and potential clients and organizations, and organize outbound phone and email campaigns for our team members. I use Salesloft every day to manage my workflow and ensure I am both hitting my call numbers and targeting the correct contacts.

Cons
  • Dialer functionality is limited/buggy, must use the dial out to my cell phone function.
  • Could use more detailed options to tag completed calls.
I think that Salesloft works well to track yourself against other team members to ensure you are keeping up with standard numbers. The recording functionality is great if managers want to listen to your calls without actually being present for calling sessions. Learning from other's calls is also possible with this features if you want to hone your own pitch and see what works for others.

Salesloft was great at DoorDash for scheduling emails, and sending out the equivalent of mail merges. We used it as sales managers to set up calls and create tasks or reminders, and it also helped us as a team with keeping an organized pipeline. I found the program very user friendly.

Salesloft was great if you were sending out an email to prospects or clients that needed to go to more than 10 people. I loved using salesloft for mail merges going to over 100 people, because it helps you personalize those emails but still get them all out in a quick and organized manner.

We use SalesLoft as an extension of Salesforce. Any outreach is done through SalesLoft.

You gain insight into who's opening, viewing, engaging with emails. It also records calls. Super helpful when prospecting because you can listen to old calls and try and get some insight on previous conversations.

Makes keeping in touch with prospects super easy and different cadences for different roles, industries, titles that you are reaching out to and stay organized.

  • If an email auto replies saying that person is not there with the company, Salesloft currently doesn't pick up on that
It is the best outreach tool I have utilized. I like all the features that are available. The analytics and insight are super cool. Which email is most effective, the alerts when someone views the emails, how many targets you need to reach out to. The customizable email template field with ((JOB TITLE)) and ((CITY)) and ((COMPANY)) Make it so you can send custom emails with the click of a button.

I think that it is a great tool to be able to scale my outreach whether that be via email, phone, LinkedIn, or gift sending. It helps me keep track of my leads and accounts and is a much better tool than Gmail. Syncs mostly directly to Salesforce so that helps relieve the administrative burden too.

I feel that it is a solid tool to be able to help an SDR team or someone managing a lot of outbound sales duties to be able to perform. It makes it easy to send out invitations to events, high level emails to prospects, and lots of cold calls. Makes my job easier, for sure.
