SAP Hybris a state-of-the-art E-commerce Platform
- SAP Hybris provides a true omnichannel across businesses
- SAP Hybris brings a State-of-the-Art platform to customize and extend with particular business requirements
- SAP Hybris delivers a secure and strong system to accomplish high security requirements
- The implementation of SAP Hybris requires highly trained people with previous experience to achieve success.
- SAP Hybris does not have a solution designed for small companies, it is a platform designed for medium and large companies, at least in Latam Market.
SAP Commerce Cloud
- Easily integration with SAP S4HANA
- The Shopping experience is smooth
- Support API for integration with non-sap products
- Customized reports are available
- Less knowledge sharing platform available
- User interface should be improvise for better experience of end users
- Needs to work on Costing
- SAP Commerce Cloud lowers manual effort, enhancing developer labor efficiency, and provides a strong content management system where we specify items, catalogs, and promotions.
- Deployments are done well, and builds are created quickly with no crashes or issues.
- SAP Backoffice and HAC are extremely useful in the daily lives of Hybris developers since they allow us to check all implementations done in each environment as well as compilations prepared and implemented in each environment.
- It's a little pricey; further cost reductions will expand product selection; also, trained operators are required.
- HAC occasionally functions extremely slowly and does not provide any problem messages; it simply gets stuck. Logging into the Backoffice for testing purposes causes a lot of trouble; it does not enable us to log in in one attempt, and the page refreshes every time we enter in the credentials.
Commerce Implementation for the enterprises
- Deployment
- Debugging
- Setting up environment specific variables
- Isolating and monitoring server
- Cleaner separation between different servers
- build pipeline customization
- access related issues
- troubleshooting without SAP intervention
Another one of SAP's beautiful tools

- Some functions are outdated and need to be updated
Relook the e-commerce journey using SAP Commerce Cloud
- Commerce engine works really well and easy customization journey for end users
- Seamless integrations with SAP system at the backend
- Promotions engines are easy configurable for business users to publish the promotions
- Headless architecture helps client to have better frontend experience
- Should have some libraries in-build to create dashboards and reports
- Should have simplified flow for the oData integrations with non-SAP systems
In Searching it should give some more configuration based cockpit for the advance search configuration and custom attribute searching.
B2B content management and promotions management is very easy from business perspective and helps to reduce the dependency on the development team.
Ideal to manage your business on an online platform.
- Its structure which is based on the characteristics of Java Spring is very good, so you can better manage your tools and it is reflected quickly and very perceptively.
- All the information stored is divided in an organized way and in the corresponding place according to its area; this allows us to locate it without any problem when looking for some data.
- Simply, this software is very easy to use, it does not have unnecessary tools, and it does not have any specific function; all its functions are optimal.
- Some procedures in the CMS are usually very slow, specifically in the CMS Cockpit; I cannot use most of the templates or manage certain content. For this reason, I try to find other alternatives, but they are not as efficient as CMS Cockpit should be.
- There are some functions that are a bit outdated, more like the user interface; it is worth mentioning that this is a very important tool because it is the first contact that customers have with the software and the company as such.

True reason to choose SAP Commerce Cloud
- Use to design and develop very complex B2B business model requirements like Assortment, Personalization's, Custom Search Experiences, REST and Soap based integrations, Order and Multiple Cart for the customer, etc.

- It's is very easy to integrate context-driven services and provide a way for businesses to analyze customer behavior.
- CCV2 really helps and reduces efforts towards dev-ops like building and deploying code to the environment.
- One of the best things to solve problems is to have implemented a complex assortment, using adaptive search as well as customizing search flow easily with minimal effort.
- Business-friendly UI as well as configuration by which Business can customize search experience for specific page-level along with customization of specific value.
- Flexibility over integrations, at the same time, can provide API as well can be consumers. Also, have OOTB integrations using SCPI which really helps in onboarding Catalogs details to SAP Commerce Cloud.
- SAP Commerce Cloud Integration with context-driven services to achieve customer behavior as well as apply segmentation and product recommendations, is very easy and it is out of the box with the minimum effort it is working perfectly.
- SAP Commerce Cloud on CCV2 makes life easier as there is no need of having big experience in the dev-ops side as build and deployment pipelines are already available. Also, there is zero downtime which is saving business as the site is always available.
- As per experience performance is the area where improvement can be done when ordering 500 products and more.
- SAP support for CCV2 deployment and SAP Products issues.
- If we can bring Facet hierarchy feature as well as slider facets options out of box
- There are performance issues in grouping functionality if we have many children of a group in PLP/CLP.
- As per my experience, SAP Commerce Cloud is built on Java and Spring which is an open technology and widely used. Any developer who knows programming can learn and adopt it easily.
- SAP Commerce Cloud has added new features and eased the life of developers by giving an easy way to customize Backoffice Cockpit very easily. So as per business requirements, we can customize it easily.
- One of my best experiences is with Search Functionality like adaptive search and giving way to customize filtering search results for specific customers.
- And one of the big reasons is that SAP Commerce Cloud is widely used by many customers and SAP Commerce Cloud is the leader in this area so always a hot technology.
