- Provided a platform to enable reporting standards throughout the organization.
- Did incur a significant cost rewriting / converting all existing reports to Crystal. However, ongoing maintenance has been much better.
- Software updates are relatively expensive to bring the whole organization up to the current level each time.

SAP Crystal Reports - Still great but slowing down
- We were able to provide enterprise wide reporting from our ERP system which saved our site analysts time saved between downloading data and presenting it in Excel. We saved roughly 250 man hours per month with a single soltution.
- Some sites would spend 2 hours daily just importing data into an Access database and reporting out. Crystal eliminated all of that time.

- As we started using Crystal reports since we started using SAP B1 back in 2005 we are very familiar working with it and the payback is good.
- Negative side is you need a lot of training to manage to create reports by your organization without of asking 3rd party to create reports for you

Efficient reporting tool with endless possibilities
- Time and cost savings achieved by automation of report creating across many data sources we maintain.
- The ability to drill down into granular details of the data leads to a better understanding of the business procedures.
- Well-presented reports are invaluable for getting new clients on board.
- It is a decent buy for specific departments in terms of reporting capabilities but updates and cost (frequent) demands are higher with the benefits offered.
- So long as the requirements are not ever changing, with scheduling functionality, it's a handsome tool.
