Our primary use case with SAP Customer Data Solutions is to track customer activities and draw actionable insights based on these tracking metrics. We were missing out on a lot of personalization that we could offer to our end users, and with the help of SAP Customer Data Solutions, we were able to achieve that. Also, engaging with our end users on multiple channels and platforms is now very much seamless.

I would recommend any company to use SAP just because you can do alot in the system even procedures and processes can be automated easily without any learning curves. This includes setting up the solution, defining use cases (from acquiring customer data on end-user websites to communicate this informations to downstream platforms), verify legal and privacy requirements and finally deploying it. The usual systems involved are websites, marketing platforms, CDPs and CRMs.

SAP is fantastic as a whole for providing purpose-built applications. The SAP Customer Data Solutions platform is exceptionally positioned in this manner for giving me the most relevant and up-to-date information on my company's customer base that I engage with. Using SAP Customer Data Solutions I know the most pertinent needs of our customers and how best to direct them. This could be through adjacent departments such as Technical Support, Customer service, Operations, Accounting, Marketing, or Sales. I consider it a magic crystal ball of how best to accommodate accounts on the fly. This is always a plus in complaint resolution or product pitchs.
  • Customer focused analysis, I have the latest awareness of the customer's perspective.
  • Historical view. This gives me a complete history of the activities behind their reason for contacting us.
  • Speedy resolution. I can share notes and prioritize 'hot' accounts.
  • SAP Customer Data Solutions is so capable it can take time to navigate the nuisances but once mastered it's amazing.
  • I'v found some aspects require super user authority or an admin to resolve.
I'd say it's the gold standard in customer satisfaction. It is absolutely unrivaled to cookie-cutter type one-size-fits-all applications. It's very customer built which is the point. Smart recommender is an example of how productivity can be captured and improved as is the easy-to-implement integrations with other platforms we used.

So, the problem it solves is that sometimes people want special products, and the store needs to remember what products they like. SAP helps by keeping all that info in one place, so the store can make people happy by getting them the orders they really, really want.

The scope? Well, it helps store owners and all the clients make sure everyone gets the orders they love. It's like having a big friendly robot in the store that knows what everyone likes.

  • I find the interface a bit complex and challenging to navigate. I remember having difficultly grasping it completely especially when I was new to the system. Simplifying the user experience would make it more accessible for everyone, making tasks quicker and more intuitive.

Well suited: You know those really huge stores with tons of cool things? SAP Customer Data Solutions are like superheroes for those stores! They can keep track of all the toys, clothes, and gadgets people buy, helping the store managers know what people like and stock up on the right stuff.

Less suited: Stores Where People Don’t Hang Out Much: Like Some places, like hardware stores or gas stations, don’t have a lot of chitchat with customers. If people just come in, buy something, and go, there might not be a big need for SAP. It’s like having a super detailed map when you’re only going a few blocks—you don’t really need all the fancy features.

We manage customer data from various sources on this platform. We track data for advanced customer insights and analytics. Customer engagement and increased conversation using the tools was the idea behind using the SAP Tools for better customer experience. We are able to present items to the correct audience based on their behaviour in the past.

It provides real data insights where user wants to gain market lead and attract customers.
It cannot be recommended where it needs to integrated with non-SAP products as there would be compatibility issues. Engagement to social media is having minimal features. One can avoid the product if using for such scenarios.
