Certain ERP products are incompatible with HANA given their architecture and this might prove to be a roadblock for organizations if they aren't willing to change the architecture.

As per my opinion, it is suitable for both medium and large organizations because it provides you flexibility and scalability. So you don't have to worry about initial infrastructure cost. Even it fulfills your future infrastructure requirements. For smaller organizations it is expensive solution but they can go for it.

SAP HANA Cloud is a high-performance hybrid (row and column) in-memory database. Although SAP HANA Cloud can be used as a database for almost any application, the vast majority of installations are being used as accelerators or the primary databases for SAP applications. These installations, in the most part, are upgrades from previous instances of the SAP product, not greenfield sites.

Although SAP HANA Cloud is a very robust and versatile platform

It is well suited for medium or large size organization. For growing organization it is must have tool. Early implementation of SAP HANA Cloud will be beneficial for them. For faster data processing, advanced analytics tool, higher availability you must go for SAP HANA Cloud. For small organizations it is not suitable as it will be costlier solution for them.

SAP HANA Cloud is best for Tax billing and advanced invoice generation and also, many features which is related to the report generation are available with in a window. I would like to recommend SAP HANA Cloud for Accounting and compliance activities. Whereas except the bit costlier fact it is all good at it's functionality. UX user experience is not user friendly.

If you feel your business is going to have transactions in large amount. This is more suitable for handling big data in the right way.

SAP Hana Cloud performs extremely well when you have an unstructured dataset that needs additional processing/cleaning prior to database loading. It is able to make sense of different data sources and combine them seamlessly.

HANA is well suited for real time calculation and not so complex logics and joins. It is not suited for data that has dependency on time based masterdata or showing data at different points in time, because this data needs to be staged to provide comparison.

Its data processing speed is unmatchable which makes sense as its an in memory database. Based on my experience if someone wants faster data and transaction speed then SAP HANA Cloud is the answer to that.

The technical innovations inherent in the platform enable integrated functions of advanced analysis. But they are tools that unleash their maximum potential only when the entire organization has embarked on a digital transformation journey. It is therefore necessary to involve human resources and study existing processes with the aim of highlighting pockets of inefficiency, margins for improvement and new opportunities

It is global available software hence many user are well aware for the sap hana. User no require more training he can direct use after joining. Also new user can get familiar as limited modules are available based on the scope. Scope wise feature availability is beneficial. Data integrity and data log detail is well defined.
