Lumira trial thoughts
I used Lumira to visually analyse large volumes of plant originated data and manipulate it to improve the ease of analysis. I was evaluating it as an option for inclusion in a product that would be deployed to our end user customers.

Lumira beginners review
I used SAP Lumira for a class project in one of my MBA courses. SAP Lumira was really easy to use and I would recommend for projects outside of my MBA class. As part of my class project we had to analyze data using various analytical tools and this was by far my favorite.

Easy to use, resourceful resource!
SAP Lumira was mainly used in marketing to analyze potential markets and histories of sales. It was initially small exercises to learn the use of SAP Lumira, which were almost unnecessary because it was so easy to use, and beyond that was an actual analysis of data. We also used it for management reports and were able to use the graphics and features to make understandable charts and graphs.

We have used SAP Lumira for one of the SAP simulations for a diary product company. We have addressed the problem of making inventory and pricing decisions using this tool.

Project management Lumira
I tried Lumira to visualize project portfolio data and to build dashboards for that.
I've come from from an area of data analysis and consumption that was heavily utilizing Excel spreadsheets to create dashboards and reports. These reports were manually configured week by week, month by month. I utilized formulas and entered raw data obtained through various database sources.
Lumira, changed all that. Lumira allowed me to tap into various data sources, create report templates and set scheduled refreshes so I never have to monkey around with reports on a weekly basis. I've saved hundreds of hours that were spent massaging and cleansing data. That is now being used to do what my job requires of me - making meaningful analysis happen, while putting the things I learned to use.
SAP Lumira has enabled me to take raw data, create meaningful reports, and obtain key information pieces to act upon and drive change. It's been a while since SAP made data analysis easy, but thanks to their hard work - we're finally there.

An Attractive Analytics and Presentation Tool
We're using it to present data from our SAP HANA and Oracle databases in an attractive, interactive manner. These reports allow users to visualize various parameters of their vehicle fleets, such as maintenance and fuel expenses. For example, they can observe the effect of preventative maintenance spending on overall maintenance costs. One feature we really like is that you can present either a finished report, or allow more ambitious, experienced users to analyze data themselves.

Intuitive and great visuals (albeit not that flexible!)
It is currently being used within the Financial Reporting Space but if we purchase the full license then it may be used more broadly. It is used for ad-hoc insight of business questions (such as "what is affecting my product mix?") and also to create dashboards for more repeatable business questions (although Design Studio is favoured for this).

Use of SAP Lumira with ERP Simulation Software
We used SAP Lumira in conjunction with an ERP (enterprise resource planning) simulation game in a business process class in order to analyze the data generated. The ERP package was used to simulate production and sales for a cereal manufacturing company and SAP lumira was used to analyze the data from the simulation game such as production history, market sales, inventory levels, etc.

Our organization uses SAP Lumira to develop dashboards and infographics for educational and reporting purposes.
SAP Lumira is an excellent BI, the graphics and performance are awesome. Even though SAP B1 HANA has a decent BI, Lumira provides a lot more functionalities and options to personalize dashboards and reports. The interface is simple and intuitive. There are very few competitors in the market that can step up to this kind of quality. If you're managing your business with SAP, the acquisition of SAP Lumira is a "no-brainer".

Visualization at its nicest

SAP Lumira evaluation pre-buy
We were evaluating the software but in the end we had to stay with a Microsoft solution. Having said that, SAP Lumira is a very easy to use and modern BI-tool, with great looking graphs and a powerful data Engine. The maps were especially impressive with a lot more layers of complexity and flexibility than I have experienced in similar Products.

BRAVO !!
SAP Lumira is becoming our main software to generate visualizations and BI documents for our meetings. We use this software to generate some good exercises for our students but also to use our student database for BI presentation and analysis. We are 5 working on Lumira every day and we are very happy with it

Still much work to do
So far only SAP Lumira is used only by the IT and FI department. It not as user-friendly compared to Tableau.
