We run Web and Application servers among other small services in a hyper-converged infrastructure provided by Scale Computing Platform. During all the period we've been using that we didn't have any severe issue that impacted our operations. We had minor issues where we were able to work with Scale Computing Platform support and get those solved.

The Scale Cluster at our Police Department runs all the police servers, apps, files, DC, and, most importantly the systems that run our Police Dispatch 911 Center, including mission-critical Emergency Medical Systems. If these systems go down, it could be a life-or-death situation.

We run all of our on-prem servers through Scale Computing. As a school corporation we have many uses for servers and need to be able to act fast and in a way that is easy to understand without being an expert. This is a perfect solution for that.

We run virtual domain controllers, several database applications as well as print sharing. We also virtualized an older, deprecated student information system. This allows us to access records from previous years without having to support (or worry about) the ancient hardware.

We are running our AD and LDAP servers in a HA setup on SCP. The uptime of these 3 services is congruent with the purchase date. that should say all.

We have all our applications running on the HC3 platform, with the advantage of having a hyper-converged infrastructure. This allows us to perform maintenance and updates on our systems without causing downtime in our environment. We have the freedom to carry out updates during the week, and we don't need to sacrifice weekends for these operations. Our applications include the central management system, intranet, financial systems, human resources systems, development and test environments.

In business criticalities applications, between the computing hardware and business applications, lies to have run in operating systems like windows or linux. In our case, we have run applications that doesn't care about what type of processor, memory and storage is in the physical hardware of the server. This is where HC3 is a virtualization platform like VMware, Hyper-V etc. So I think Scale Computing Platform would be a great tool to virtualized machines that can run in a server/node a cost & performance effective.

With the businesses we work with almost all of the applications are business critical. We have run MS Great Plains, Custom Applications, Healthcare EMR/EHR, Logistic Software, SQL, Educational, and much more.

These applications run without any issue, a great experience.

Many of today's virtualization solutions consist of a composite solution from multiple vendors, making the solution more complicated and expensive than necessary. Furthermore, properly configuring different servers and storage components consumes valuable department resources, and this is before a company has even installed and configured hypervisors or tested compatibility and performance. Scale Computing's virtualization solution, on the other hand, is based on patented technologies designed from the ground up to minimize infrastructure complexity and cost. Whether an organization is considering upgrading its existing virtualization platform or beginning to virtualize its environment, Scale Computing's hyperconverged approach is the shortest path to affordable virtualization that is easy to deploy, manage and scale.

We run our SIS on Scale and it has never run better. We also run our Time Management system as well as various SQL databases and have never had a hiccup with the systems since moving them over to Scale.

In our situation, we were looking for an inexpensive solution to replace our aging hardware. We have no plans to expand our current implementation; however, from what I understand it's very easy to do so. Scale's HCI allowed us to consolidate all our racked equipment down to 2U, and we have not had any performance issues.

We have been able to move over all our critical function servers to the Scale platform with zero issues, we are running everything from our Scale Platform, including active directory controllers, state-wide testing software, student information systems, and robust financial database systems. The conversion was simple, the maintenance is easy, and the performance of the machines has been top-notch.

Performance is exactly as required. I couldn't be happier with the systems. Pricing is a challenge at times, but with alternatives like Proxmox/XCP-NG as alternatives where we need to have the backend knowledge to resolve things ourselves, this is the right choice in our company.
