I.T. Manager. We have a one person IT department which manages all systems including HC3/servers, email, software and telephones. The reliability of the HC3 system and its ease of use allows me to focus on other things.

The 2 IT Admins use the Scale administrative console, hundreds of employees use the virtual machines themselves either by virtue of the data sets created by services that run on one of the HC3 VM's or as a physical user of a specific VM.

Our Scale Computing nodes are used across the whole school. They host all of our data and servers, including file, domain, print, and VDI. Every business function is represented from students, to teachers, to office staff, as well as IT.

Three are support technicians. The remainder are my Microsoft certification students who I teach not only Microsoft client/server and networking, but VM benefits using the H3 as well. Students create VMs, design and implement disaster recovery plans, and utilize VMs as test environments.

We run the entire organizations computer and storage needs on the Scale Computing solution. Ranging from massive document management system and a multitude of sql databases. Document searches need to be fast and the Scale Solution addressed this issue and then some. When it comes to the reliability and availability of data and applications, we now have peace of mind knowing we have full redundancy in production and from a business continuity perspective.

We have servers across all lines of our business on the HC3 platform. Accounting, Web Servers, File Servers, SQL, Exchange, etc. The vast majority of the users are unaware of them even being virtual, but they absolutely love the reboot time anytime maintenance is required.

Myself, Director of Technology and 2 programmers use our Scale Cluster Admin portal on a daily basis while we have over 300,000 users access our web application hosted on the Scale Cluster. I monitor and update our VMs including clean ups, and backups using the Scale tools provided. Our programmers log into the VMs to install updated copies of the Web Applications they build to support our staff and clients. Along with our custom Web Applications, we host our Exchange 2016 Server and Active Directory which is the entire back bone of our Service team members communication.
