We implemented Scale clusters in both of our offices as a replacement for the prior HyperV-Based VM infrastructure. We utilize Scale's built-in snapshot and replication technology to provide VM-level backup & DR protection. All of our primary storage is now managed as part of the Scale environment. Scale integrates VM operations, management, and protection into a unified system that provides more capability at lower cost than the multi-vendor collection of products we used previously.

The primary use case for the Scale Computing HC3 platform was for delivery of VDIs for a specific organisational design activity across two disparate companies. There was little integration at that point and the 2 large organisations had legacy environments that it was/still is hard to integrate (because of scale/cost).

The business team re-organisations were large scale and had been under NDA so minimal preparation could be undertaken. The project had already set a budget in advance.

Therefore we needed a quick to deliver, cost effective way of providing the environments, with DR, within each organisation, for use by employees from the other organisation.

To this end we deployed 16 x Lenovo based Scale HC3 appliances, 4 to each of 4 data centres with each pair of data centres belonging to the individual companies. In this way, we hit the timescales, hit the budget and provided a robust solution hosting, in total, circa 1200 VDIs complete with a replicated DR instance

We recently purchased and implemented our Scale solution to replace an old, soon to be unsupported system. We had a traditional infrastructure setup with a separate SAN and virtual servers. We now have a 3-node cluster in our live site and a single-node located in another facility for disaster recovery purposes. It supports the whole organization.

Previously we had nine physical servers in our environment that were out of warranty and had no room for expansion. Since upgrading to the new three node HC3 solution, we now have the ability to assign more system resources to business critical systems. This new solution gives us redundancy, room for expansion and is incredibly easy to use.

While performing a DRP process review in 2018 we identified a need to obtain more compute and storage resources for our secondary datacenter to lower our RTO deliverables to the organization. We were a strictly VMware shop, utilizing a traditional architecture of compute nodes and storage nodes connected over the network.

When right-sizing the expansion of our compute resources we performed a review of our Hypervisor needs and determined that we were not using a majority of features in the VMware suite, and did not see a compelling reason to continue paying a premium for those features.

We discovered Scale Computing and the HC3 on a recommendation from a colleague, and their simple hyper-converged design coupled with an intuitive interface was perfect for a team of our size. Once we did a site tour of a current customer and after lengthy conversations with Scale we knew this solution would simplify our daily operations for our hypervisor infrastructure, at nearly half the cost of a comparable VMware solution.

The relationship with Scale since then has been great. We are now running all of our production servers on the Scale Computing HC3 solution, and the support and upgrades have been seamless.

Scale Computing HC3 has been implemented as a replacement for the client's old VMware environment. The client wanted a more substantial and reliable virtual platform for their business. They have multiple remote sites and remote users, in which they wanted to provide a seamless user environment to all users. They have 6 virtual servers and 16 virtual desktops. The HC3 platform has fulfilled the client's current needs and should carry them well into the future.

We use the Scale platform across multiple service assets. Initially, we implemented Scale for running virtual servers on our ERP system, we quickly realized we were under using it and added multiple virtual machines for other services with the company.

Scale HC3 has drastically simplified our infrastructure while introducing new levels of redundancy that were previously too costly for us to utilize. The simplicity of the interface lets us call upon junior staff to perform routine tasks.

We have deployed Scale Computing as our hyper-converged solution to support our manufacturing company's total business. We currently have two clusters deployed in a production and disaster recovery setup. As we have grown Scale has allowed us to easily add nodes needed without the worry of complicated licensing and operation issues.

We are using Scale's HC3 system across our whole organization. We've been able to not only virtualize a couple of physical servers, but also to migrate some virtual servers off a failing VMware platform.

We use Scale Computing at our data center for cloud services that we host for our clients. It has dramatically simplified the management of our IT infrastructure and lowered the management time that the staff spends at our datacenter. We no longer have to worry about data replication or a single server affecting our ability to deliver the highest uptime.

Scale Computing HC3 (taking up 3U of server rack space) has replaced 14U of hardware that we had previously used. It replaced 2 dedicated storage arrays, 2 VM hosts, and several physical file and backup servers. It runs all of the virtual servers that our organization uses, as well as snapshots and backups. It simplifies our infrastructure, making it easy for this one-man shop to manage and maintain.

We use two Scale servers, one is housing our servers for daily use and the other is housed at a different location for Disaster Recovery. The main Scale server houses our Windows Forest Domain Controller which does Windows Authentication, DHCP, DNS, Print Sharing, etc., it also houses a couple of other specific purpose servers. I am for the most part the only daily user but I do have a couple people who occasionally use the system. It is fantastic for DR as we would never have to lose anything more than the last hour of data and downtime is a few minutes.

Scale Computing HC3 is being used across the whole organization. The solution hosts various VMs that support the business processes like email, ERP, file serving, etc.

A key feature of HC3 that our business is banking heavily on is backup and disaster recovery.

Scale Computing HC3 is being used across our entire organization. It has replaced our old Hyper-V cluster as well as the Pillar SAN. We had several issues with snapshots timing out, and network connectivity when using the Hyper-V cluster. So far we have had 0 issues with the Scale product, and updating the cluster has been an absolute dream.

Great value when large storage is needed and integrated into a hyper-converged solution. In our organization, it is mostly used for large file shares and legacy systems. It is used across the whole organization. We used it to significantly increase our overall storage for large file shares and legacy systems at a better price point than many systems. We also use the automatic backup to replicated to another HC3 at our DR site.

We use Scale Computing HC3 as our core for hosting our in-house web-based insurance policy and claims management system as well as supporting our users with their general office computing requirements. We have hundreds of independent insurance agents that access our system and we warehouse millions of documents.

Scale Computing HC3 is acting as our one source for CPU and storage in our datacenter. It is being used across the whole organization. It provides us the ability to have a single pain of glass into our server environment, and make patching a breeze.
